83 Chapter 083: The Demise of the Daredevil

Rock Lee took a step forward, adopting a standard combat stance with one hand behind him and the other in front. He asked, "Sir, are you sure you want to stop us?"

Matt Murdock, with his heightened senses, detected the powerful and unusual heartbeats of the three individuals. He replied with a serious expression, "You've killed so many people. Now, surrender and face the consequences under the law."

While speaking, Matt readied his Billy Club, prepared to attack at a moment's notice.

Seeing that Rock Lee hadn't made a move yet, Sasuke wore a cold expression and said, "Rock Lee, hurry up. Our leader is waiting for us to bring the target back."

Upon hearing Sasuke's words, Rock Lee didn't hesitate. He quickly sprinted toward Matt Murdock.

Sensing the rush of wind accompanying Rock Lee's run, Matt did his best to raise his arms defensively, shielding his chest. He thought, "He's fast."

"Bang!"

Rock Lee launched a powerful roundhouse kick that sent Daredevil Matt flying.

In an effort to minimize the impact, Matt did his best to disperse the force as he was sent flying. However, he only came to a stop after colliding with a pillar in the lobby and subsequently coughed up a mouthful of blood.

Seeing that Matt had been injured with just one kick, Sasuke wore a look of disdain and strong contempt.

Taking advantage of his fall, Matt swiftly unleashed the hidden retractable baton from his Billy Club and aimed for Madame Gao, whom Sasuke was carrying.

Since he couldn't beat them in combat, Matt decided to save the hostage and escape.

However, this action from Matt further angered not only Sasuke but also Rock Lee, who was standing nearby.

As the retractable baton flew toward him, Rock Lee moved quickly, grabbing the chain as it approached. With a powerful pull, he yanked Daredevil Matt towards him.

Seeing the incoming Daredevil, Rock Lee immediately utilized his Primary Lotus technique.

He delivered eleven punches to Daredevil Matt while he was still suspended in the air. The final punch was charged with chakra, sending Daredevil Matt hurtling away.

Rock Lee, with his enhanced physical abilities from the ninja arts, possessed fists that Daredevil was unable to withstand.

In mid-air, all of Matt's ribs were shattered, with one rib bone piercing his heart. The last punch sent Daredevil Matt crashing through the building's glass doors.

The glass doors shattered on impact, and Matt's lifeless body tumbled onto the street outside.

Witnessing Daredevil lying motionless outside, Rock Lee relaxed his aggressive stance. His expression remained calm as he said, "The enemy is dealt with. Let's continue our journey."

Sasuke, carrying Madame Gao, immediately began walking towards their destination. He commented, "I hope there won't be any more fools blocking our path."

The three of them left, leaving Daredevil Matt's lifeless body outside the building, along with his discarded Billy Club.

Back at the Charles Agency-

They had a smooth journey without further interruptions. Iruka drove the car, carrying everyone back to the agency's headquarters.

In the meeting room, Charles sat in a chair, while Madame Gao, who had regained consciousness, was bound on the floor in front of him.

Iruka approached and removed the cloth from Madame Gao's mouth, replacing it with a gag over her chin.

As Iruka performed these actions, Madame Gao began to stir.

Upon opening her eyes, Madame Gao immediately realized she was bound and started struggling.

She assessed her surroundings and the individuals present: Charles Doyle seated in a chair, the three people who had captured her, and Ginny, who was busy on a computer, cross-referencing information.

Madame Gao, now aware of her surroundings, asked, "Who are you?"

"Why have you captured an old woman like me?"

"If you're interested in my Hell's Kitchen business, I can step aside and hand it all over to you."

Evidently, Madame Gao still didn't understand Charles Doyle's true intentions and was speculating about the situation.

Charles Doyle looked at Madame Gao, who had quickly regained her composure. He calmly responded, "I have no interest in your business."

Upon hearing that it wasn't her factory business, Madame Gao immediately offered, "Is it Wilson Fisk who sent you? I'll double whatever he paid. How about five times? Or name your price?"

As Madame Gao spoke, he also attempted to disrupt Charles's thoughts and intrude into his mind. However, Madame Gao's psychic manipulation had no effect on Charles.

With his Sharingan-enhanced abilities, Charles wasn't concerned about Madame Gao's tricks. He smiled and calmly said, "Your mind control tricks won't work on me; your power is too weak. Let's get to the point."

"Madame Gao, you came to New York to find something. Have you found it?"

Upon hearing Charles's question, Madame Gao's pupils slightly contracted. He didn't know how Charles was aware of this, but she replied, "I don't know what you're talking about. I came to New York to expand the Hand's business."

"Besides, even if you've captured me, the Hand won't stop. So, why don't you make your demands? I'll do my best to fulfill them."

Seeing that Madame Gao was unwilling to admit anything, Charles slowly uttered two words, "Dragon Bones!"

Upon hearing these two words, Madame Gao realized that she could no longer hide the truth. She angrily asked, "Who are you working for, the Chaste or Kunlun?"

Then she contradicted herself, saying, "Kunlun can't possibly train ninja. Where are you from?"

Seeing that Madame Gao didn't deny it but instead bombarded him with questions, Charles smiled and calmly replied, "I am neither from Kunlun nor the Chaste."

"Furthermore, to call your trained assassins 'ninja' is laughable!"

Upon hearing Charles's words, and considering the strength of the three people who had captured him, Madame Gao was temporarily at a loss for words. She realized that not only the Chaste but even their own trained ninja couldn't compare to these individuals.

Madame Gao had mistaken Sasuke for someone trained by Charles Doyle's faction.

"To which faction do you belong?"

Madame Gao asked again, unwilling to give up.

Charles Doyle smiled and pondered for a moment before hesitatingly saying, "I am an elder of the High Table. I wonder if that answer satisfies you."

Madame Gao scrutinized Charles Doyle intently and then uncertainly asked, "You are the new High Table elder?"

"That's impossible. I know the High Table, and they don't have the power for this."

Then, as if realizing something, she continued, "It's you, isn't it? You placed a bounty on the Hand in America."

At that moment, Madame Gao finally understood why the Hand's base in the United States had been subjected to a comprehensive attack.
