Chapter 081: Slaughter Feast

Fisk Building, Top Floor-

Kingpin stood in front of a massive floor-to-ceiling window, overlooking all of Hell's Kitchen in the fading twilight.

Today would be a night of joy for many, and a sleepless night for countless others.

At that moment, there was a knock on the door, and Kingpin called out, "Come in."

The door swung open, and Bullseye entered, asking, "Kingpin, with all the assassins gathered in Hell's Kitchen tonight, and Charles's Agency already infiltrating the building where Madame Gao is, shouldn't we join the action as well?"

It was clear that Bullseye was not one to sit idly by during this slaughter feast.

Kingpin turned around, leaning on his staff, and replied, "There's no need for us to get involved. Since we've entrusted this to Charles's Agency, we should let them handle it, and all we need to do is wait for the results."

Hearing Kingpin's instructions, Bullseye had no choice but to suppress his restlessness and said, "Alright, I'll go down and make sure no one from the Hand tries to seek refuge here."

Seeing that Bullseye still couldn't sit still, Kingpin didn't refuse this time and said, "Go check it out, and if any Hand members try to get in, stop them."

Upon hearing Kingpin's agreement, Bullseye smiled and said, "Understood, I won't let any fish slip through the net."

With those words, Bullseye left the office and even closed the door behind him.

In the meantime, there was a cell phone on the conference room table, its screen lit up with a message: Missed call from Madame Gao.

On the other side-

Matt Murdock, who had just finished work at the Law firm, immediately sensed that something was amiss in Hell's Kitchen today, thanks to his keen hearing and sense of smell.

He touched his wristwatch to check the time and muttered to himself, "It's not even nighttime yet, why is everything so chaotic?"

Hearing the screams and the faint scent of blood in his ears, Matt didn't hesitate. He needed to find out what was happening. 

In the next moment, he rushed to a secluded corner, changed into his vigilante attire, and shot a grappling hook at the wall, swinging into action.

Back to Madame Gao-

The Uchiha Sasuke trio had made their way up from the third floor to the eighth floor, only four floors away from Madame Gao's top-floor location. 

Along the way, they had left a trail of bodies, having already eliminated over a hundred Hand thugs within eight floors. The stench of blood permeated the building.

Just as they had finished off a fully armed enemy squad and were about to head to the ninth floor, several shurikens with a piercing sound suddenly flew at them from the ninth-floor staircase.

"Swish, swish, swish."

Iruka quickly retrieved a kunai from his waist and deflected all the incoming shurikens with incredible speed.

It turned out that Hand ninjas led by Xin had arrived, and their attempts to attack using shurikens had been thwarted when they saw their own shurikens deflected.

Xin gestured to his men to stay hidden at the entrance to the ninth floor, ready for a surprise attack against Iruka and the others.

On the side, Sasuke picked up one of the shurikens that Iruka had deflected. He examined the shuriken, which was similar to the ones they used, and curiously asked, "Could there be ninja here too?"

He then tried to bend the shuriken with his hand, and with a crisp sound, he effortlessly snapped it in two.

Observing this, Iruka pondered for a moment and said, "Stay vigilant. They might be ninja too. After all, Charles-sama mentioned that this world is not as simple as it seems."

Despite feeling that the shurikens thrown by the enemy lacked power during their clash, Iruka decided to take the situation seriously, following the cautious nature of a ninja.

He took out two kunai with explosive tags attached and aimed them at the door to the ninth floor.

Xin, who had witnessed this, was puzzled. While they didn't use kunai, they were familiar with similar weapons. However, the explosive tags attached to the kunai were intriguing. What was the purpose of such an attack?

Before he could order his men to pick up the kunai and examine them, the explosive tags on the kunai ignited.

"Boom! Boom!"

Xin made a hasty attempt to dodge, but the explosions from the explosive tags sent him flying. Several of his men who were further away were also knocked down.

Seeing the effectiveness of the explosive tags, Iruka rushed into the ninth floor at full speed. Previously, it had been Rock Lee and Sasuke doing most of the fighting, so as the team leader, he couldn't afford to slack off.

Xin, who had barely opened his eyes, suddenly saw a figure appear before him. He then felt a cold sensation on his neck before losing consciousness.

Iruka swiftly rushed to the ninth floor with kunai in hand, observing the strange attire of the people across the floor. He didn't hold back and swiftly finished off any survivors.

Seeing that the enemies were easily dispatched, Iruka realized he had been overly cautious. Even though the enemy had used shurikens, the difference in skill was apparent.

At this moment, Sasuke and Rock Lee arrived, and Sasuke, looking at the bodies on the floor, sneered, "Iruka-sensei, they were too weak. I don't think we need to take it slow anymore."

"I'll go ahead."

With those words, Uchiha Sasuke, armed with kunai, dashed upwards. He also said to Parker, "Parker, lead the way. I intend to bring Madame Gao back before nightfall."

Seeing the urgency, Parker abandoned his casual demeanor and shook himself awake. He led Sasuke in the direction of their target.

Seeing this, Rock Lee shouted, "Sasuke, wait for me. Let's go together!"

With a swoosh, Rock Lee also sprinted at full speed.

As the two students swiftly ran upstairs, Iruka watched them and glanced at the bodies on the floor. He collected one of the enemy's short swords and a shuriken. He intended to have a conversation with Charles later about the situation with ninjas in this world.

Having collected the items, Iruka didn't hesitate and quickly followed his students.

Sasuke, holding a shuriken and moving at incredible speed, was like a bolt of lightning piercing through the building. None of the Hand members could put up any resistance. For most of them, it was as if they saw a figure pass by, and then they were lifeless.

Soon, led by Parker, Sasuke arrived at a large door on the top floor. Just as Uchiha Sasuke was about to break in, the door slowly opened automatically.

Madame Gao, leaning on her cane, looked at the young ninja in front of her and asked, "Little one, which ninja clan do you come from?"

Sasuke couldn't be bothered to answer her. To him, an ordinary person was not worth his attention.
