46 Who's Eva?

As soon as Susan went to check through peephole on the door, it was Samuel. She felt relaxed and turned around to console Eva , that it was only Samuel and Eva could trust him. But Eva was nowhere to be found. She first thought she must be hiding, but she couldn't find her. Samuel banged the door again.

As soon as Susan opened the door, Samuel thoroughly checked on Susan, "Are you alright? I have been trying to reach you since long. You were not answering my call, I had been ringing your doorbell and then banging your door since half an hour. The security said you were home.I thought something bad happened to you. Are you fine?"

Susan couldn't think things straight, had she been hallucinating that Eva had come to her home. She stood nonplussed. She could just say, "I think I was so exhausted, that I dozed off".

"And you have not even had any food since breakfast ,right?"

Susan nodded.

Samuel was feeling angry at Dalton for making her work so much. But, then he realized at some point he had himself being merciless and workaholic.

He quickly took Susan in his arms and placed her on sofa. He then quickly rushed to kitchen to prepare something quickly to feed her. But, few minutes later , he heard a loud thud.

He quickly rushed to living room and saw Susan lying on the floor and unconscious.

He ran towards her and noticed that she was bleeding from her forehead. He quickly dialed ambulance & rushed her to the hospital. She was bleeding profusely, somehow they reached hospital in time.

Doctor's mentioned to Samuel that Susan had bleeder's disease i.e. impairs the body's ability to make blood clots, a process needed to stop bleeding. So, a small cut may prove fatal for her if not treated in time. The doctors advised blood transfusion since she had lost lot of blood on way to hospital. Susan was unconscious for the next day as well.

At around afternoon, Susan felt somehow poking her. She barely opened her eyes and found Eva. "I told you not to open the door, see he has hurt you now. Soon he will kill both of us."

Susan was trying to get hold of Eva, but somehow Eva was vanishing in front of her eyes. She shouted "Eva, Eva, Eva".

Samuel was sitting outside her room, he came running to her. Even the doctor and nurse came to check on her. Everything seemed normal. Doctors mentioned " Mr. Samuel , Susan is fine; you may take her home today.

And make sure she gets to meet Eva."

"But I don't know any Eva in her life", Samuel responded. "Susan, Who's Eva? Any of your family member. But you didn't mention about her before."
