3 I didn't want you to know

Susan looked straight into his eyes , and she said, "I didn't want you to know. But don't worry I will sign those papers. My baby won't come in your way of freedom from me".

Hearing this, Samuel felt as if an arrow had pierced through his heart causing sharp pain.How could she mention it's her baby, the baby was theirs. But then it hit him, he had afterall cheated on her, though not in real but this was what she was supposed to believe.What more could she expect from him. But he didn't her to see his emotions, the impact her words made on him.So quickly , he changed his expression.

Clearly his throat he said , "Still I assume that you will now need higher alimony since you are carrying my child. Well ,we can work things out but I have one condition."

Susan couldn't believe her ears, this man whom she loved dearly for the last 1 year still wanted to insult & demean her when she had already agreed to walk away from his life. Though she didn't want to take any alimony in 1st place but she needed it for her survival since her parents were also dependent on her.

She had no other option than to lose against her self-respect.

Her eyes were wet, but she didn't want to show her weakness to Samuel. Slowly she said, "Yes correct, now I would need 1.5 times the original amount as alimony".
