13 Friday Fever

She worked on the task through Wednesday night till 1am & since Samuel left early on Thursday, she got to work on the task & completed it by Friday 5am. She had planned to stay in the office on Thursday night & had brought extra pair of formal clothes & sleepover clothes which she didn't get to use. As soon as she finished her report & was about to head to washroom , Samuel entered the office. Both were shocked to see each other at this hour at office.

Samuel asked, "You so early at office? Seem you finished the assignment". Susan nodded her head & before she could tell anything else, Samuel noticed her eyes & attire & realized she hadn't been to home last night, neither she didn't seem to get any sleep.

Samuel asked her to quickly take a nap in the adjoining guest room & get refreshed by 8.45AM. He will book a conference room & she can present her research & findings at 9AM. Susan looked at him with shock, since she thought she was expected to just submit report to Samuel , she didn't assume as a new joinee she would get to present so soon. But Samuel somehow wanted to showcase her talent to his team. Susan thanked Samuel & went to take a short nap.

Post presentation, everyone congratulated Susan , she indeed had gone a step behind & analyzed the competitor history as well. Her colleagues started having respect for her & she felt fortunate enough & thanked her stars & Samuel.
