7 Shack

The amount of information appears in my mind is a bit overwhelming, and I think I might have blacked out a little. Okay. Maybe a lot longer than that. Like much longer than that.

When I finally snap out of it, I instinctively rub my throbbing temple and question what the fuck I have just seen.

Alright. I know what I have just seen. A massive window of my status or profile, but still… such a fucking headache.

There can be no further doubt that I have gained some sort of gaming power. For fucking sake, I have health, magic and stamina status. All three of them in numerical representation, giving me some kind of context to the red, blue and green potions sitting right there on the beach.

Health, Mana and Stamina Potions.

I have not bother to put them away because… like where am I going to put them exactly? I am unable to place them into my interdimensional warehouse. Awesome as that warehouse might be, it is limited to raw materials.

Actually, I have not tried to stash the potions into the warehouse since punching them might honestly break them, and that will make the whole point moot.

It is better to just leave them there until I can make use of them. I was tempted to pour out the content and make use of the glass bottle instead. Just to store some freshwater. Freshwater produced by the little distillation contraption I had crafted.

Thanks to my warehouse and its ability, all of that seems unnecessary now. I can just gather drinkable water directly from the ocean. How cool is that?

Interdimensional space for the win. Hahaha. What has my life becomes?

It is also just the first day, and I think I need a little rest to comprehend all of this. Life was so simple. I only need to rock to work every day and talk to everyone I meet. Now. I am all alone on this forsaken island without a single soul in sight.

Sigh.

I collapse back onto the beach and look up at the blue sky above. Cloudless blue sky. The sun has sailed passed the highest point hours ago, and night will soon descend onto the island.

That means I should have a shelter and campfire ready before that happen. Better get moving them.

Fucking hell. In a minute. Let me snoozes for a bit.

I can make planks out of the block of wood simply by punching it. Beats crafting an axe and some sort of lumberyard. Fuck all that shit. Punch my problem into my solution. That is the way to go!

Anyway, I only obtain 5 wooden planks per block of woods, but since there are plenty of trees on this island, I am not too worry about running out of materials. Not yet anyway. How many trees are there? And is it possible to depopulate all of them? Well, I can try. Later though. Important things first.

Punch.

Punch.

Punch.

How the fuck are the wooden planks longer and wider than the block of woods? Gaming logic. That's why, and I am not going to bother questioning it anymore. Not the first time that I have promised that, but it is still fucking hard to ignore how absurd gaming ability is.

Punch.

Punch.

Punch.

Hope that I am not in some sort of game. Seriously. That is fucked up.

Punch.

Punch.

One Punch Man.

Punch.

Once I have enough wooden planks lying around, I punch out some sticks and use one of them to draw up a wooden shack onto the sand. It does not need to be a good shack.

Just four walls, a floor and a roof. That's about it, I think. Wait. Do I need to have a floor? I can do with just four walls and roof. No. I think I should simply because I can afford the luxury.

Also, I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.

Did I just quote someone? Meh. Now, can I make a wooden shack out of just wood? No. I would need nails to hold the planks together. Or maybe not. How did the Fishy Box of Doom hold itself together?

I certainly did not design it with any sort of rope or similar. Did my power automatically fill in the blank or something?

I check one of the Fishy Box of Doom, finding it currently empty. It hasn't been that long, so of course, it hasn't caught any fish yet. What I am interested in is its construction.

Under a closer examination, the wooden sticks are connected to each other through loops and holes, so there is no need for rope or binding. That… useful. I wonder if the wooden shack will be similar.

Well. Only one way to find out.

Heading back to the design of the wooden shack on the beach, I complete it and gave it a name. I need to give a name in order to trigger…

[New Blueprint: Wooden Shack]

Yeah. I am a genius with name. Hahaha. Alright, let build one and see how it holds itself together.

Similar to setting up the Fishy Box of Doom, I just need find a good location and set my mind to it. The instant I have done that, an icon appears, allowing me to build the wooden shack with the materials I have brought. Just wooden planks.

Unlike in the real world, which required building in stages with careful thought out plans, my method of construction is a lot more simple. I just need to hammer the icon repeatedly, watching the progress bar build up and then the building would come into existence.

Gaming logic. For the win.

Wooden shack takes a lot more hammering and punching than Fishy Box of Doom, but it is not outside the realm of doable.

It is a little boring just standing there and hitting the icon, however, but from what I have understood, it will get faster if I level up my jobs and professions. More specifically, the Civil Engineering job, which belongs to the Engineer class.

To level it up, I need to build more structures. Well. That is not the only way to level it up. It is kind of complicated, and I do not understand it fully.

[Congratulation. You have built a Wooden Shack. 2033 experience earned!]

Yup. Wooden shack gives more experience because it is more complex. The more complex a structure is, the more experience I will earn. Experience for the Civil Engineering job anyway. There are probably more jobs available, requiring me to unlock them.

Like Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and so on.

Anyway, I encircle my Wooden Shack with approval.

It is quite sturdy and solid structure despite not using a single nail. Of course, I am unable to make use of the shack as I forgot to add doors or windows.

Woops. No biggie. I can rectify that problem in a jiffy. Let me torch this wooden shack first since night is descending.

Having a huge bonfire is having a huge bonfire!
