2 Who are you?

When the Snow blizzard beast leaped from the stand and attacked them, the young girl was also drawn near by the boy, as she leaned her right hand on the young boy's shoulder, curled up, and executed a somersault behind the boy.

Just then, an magic aura erupted from the girl's feet as she assumed a stance, and the surrounding area was lighted by melting ice as the Green land became visible, and the vines nearby stood up like serpents before dispersing into the distance.

A sparkling blue mana, on the other hand, illuminated the boy's hands as the illuminance speeded up, descending from the centre of his palms into his entire body, suddenly a blue-violet crackling burst out around his body as he adopted his posture.

"Rooar——" With a peculiar howl, the Snow blizzard beast that had fallen to the ground sprung up and ran directly to the youngster.

The boy snorted coldly, his mana willed up and his eyes lighting up with his strong right arm waving horizontally.

"Lightning Grid!!" he yelled as suddenly, a dense layer of electrical grid appeared in the air, blocking the route of the Snow blizzard beast.

"Karara—" The Snow blizzard beast rebounded back with the thunder roar, and the boy staggered back three or four steps, his expression changed as he realized the opponent's strength exceeded his prediction.

"It doesn't give up, does it?" The girl in the back was taken aback.

The boy's expression became solemn. Even though he was already powerful, he struggled to defeat the Snow blizzard beast.

But the youngster did not retreat; instead, he charged forward.

"Lightning Strike-Thunder God's Sword!"

As he moved, lightning bolts erupted from his back, created a thunderous field surrounding him, making his motions appear to be in slow motion, as he handled the lightning and created a sword-like structure in the lightning, sliced the Snow storm beast's forehead.

As soon as it landed in the half-frozen ground, the Snow blizzard beast broke free of the lightning field surrounding it and vaulted behind, even though it had a colossal body, as it hurried towards the girl.

Instead of being startled, the girl chuckled in sadness, "haha! Are we going to fight me? Right then...come at me, you Snow blizzard beast!!".

"Root Capture!" she exclaimed confidently as the thawed soil began to produce roots and caught the Snow blizzard beast's legs.

As he flew, the young man smiled yet clinched his fists as he watched the Snow blizzard beast attack the girl from the sky. Despite the fact that he had no idea who she was, he felt concerned that the girl would be harmed by the Snow blizzard beast.

He couldn't just wait in the sky and watch the Snow blizzard beast harm the girl, so he closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he rushed down like an Eagle flying to get his prey.

He landed on the ground with the force of a lightning bolt coming from the heavens, shaking the ground like an earth quake. But he also made sure the boy and girl were protected.

Just as the frigid, frosty mist that had gathered as a smoke-like fog had dissipated,

"huh?" When the young guy looked around, he saw that only the youngster and the girl were safe and sound since they were floating in a bubble.

As the young man silently landed down the bubble as he cancelled the spell, exclaiming, "What the Hell!" the girl and boy made a 'taken-aback' face.

The girl and boy, taken aback, inquired slowly, "What spell was that? Hey! who are you? Are you even human?" they asked.

The young man stared plainly, and as he tried to recall his identity, he got another severe headache.

"Ah" he pressed his head with one eyes open, as he couldn't help to feel the pain as he replied hesitantly, "I do not know" with a hesitant face.

"Wow! He's really handsome!" The girl burst out silently, and when the boy heard her words, he looked at her and shouted, "Hey! He's older than us!" he says solemnly.

"So what?"

"ah…nothing! Nothing at all!"

As the lad responded, the girl smiled and returned her look to the young man with a curious-smile.

"Well…

"What exactly were you two doing here?" As he grinned at their chit-chat, the young man inquired.

"Ha! We were adventuring inside this forest because today our academy had given us tasks to bring back atleast three rank B or abover ranked Magical Beasts!" With a smile, the Boy responded.

"What is a Magical beast?" inquired the young man. "And what is Academy?" He inquired.

"Are you being serious right now? Are you from another dimension or something? "Both the Girl and the Boy asked in unision while they were perplexed.

The young man tried to remember again and again, but he couldn't help but to have a intense headache. So, he just replied the truth, "I'm sorry! My head hurts whenever I try to remember something about myself!" with a hesitant smile.

"Haha! That's explains it! Right then, let me introduce myself then. My name is Lara, and I'm a student at the Escanor Magic Academy!"

"Escanor Magic Academy?" After hearing the name, the young man's started to change. His mind tried to remember again and again about the words, as the intense pain take over again and again to pierce his mind like a spear. The Young man didn't show out, but he was resisting the pain more and more.

"huh! So, It seems you have heard about our Academy..eh? Well, how could you not." Lara asked immediately with a smile, from his reaction.

The Young man replied, "I feel familiar with the name, but..ah! I couldn't remember quite..!" as his head was hurting.

"Okay, okay, I don't ask you any more, Sorry mister!!" Lara apologised as the boy tried to calmed the Young man.

"Thanks kid! What's your name?" The Young man asked the boy with a smile.

"Oh..! My name is Astor! And I'm also a student at the Escanor Magic Academy too!" the Boy responded with a smile.

As the Young man smile, Astor walked towards Lara and whispered, "Hey! He looks like a very strong mage for his young age, and his mana and magic capacity is ridiculously levelled up!" with a sweating forehead.

"That's perfect then! we can give it a try!" Lara said as she smiled.
