*TIME SKIP 2 YEARS*

In front of an house, a family seems to be saying their goodbyes as they hug each other. The woman hug the young man tightly while having a teary eye and says

"Yuu-kun~ Make sure to eat properly alright? Also make sure to visit us often."

"Yes mom, I should go now." he whisper to her as he pat her back. And his mom let go of the hug.

He turn to face his old man and extend his fist and his old man does the same as they bump their fist. After saying his goodbyes, he turn his back to them as he wave his hand before entering the car which he receive from his parents when he turned 16.

Inside the car, Yuno release a long sigh as it's also hard for him to move to other house to live alone, he is not just showing this to his parents as they will surely become more worried for him. Though unknown to him, his parents already knew what he is feeling, they just don't say anything about it.

"I don't want to be separated from my parents as they are the only ones that shows me a genuine care and love but I need to as I have to protect them. I'm still not sure how strong the villains are but I'm sure that it will be tricky." murmured Yuno as he start his car and drove until he reach his destination.

A two story tall apartment. Though his family is not poor, they're also not that rich. He don't want to waste any money. He only want a neat and quiet shelter then it's all good.

Getting out of the car after parking, he started to walk to his new home. He turn the door knob and was instantly marveled on how on earth can a room be so clean. There's not even a speck of dust on his ceiling and the floor is shining.

As he is mesmerized with the view, a lot of blue portal suddenly opens up on top of his head and to his side, completely covering his surroundings and a lot of ice with a sharp and pointed edge pops up that points at the person in his back.

'My guard is down just for a second and this person manage to sneak on me for that brief moment, a strong one huh.' Yuno thought while his back is still facing the person.

"Ho? You're strong." said the person in the back of him with a calm voice.

Yuno's brows twitch when he turn around to see who dares to sneak on him and saw the man he didn't expect to see but remain calm as he still didn't know if the man in his front is a friend or not.

"Calm down, you're the new tenant right? I'm the landlord, Levi Arckeman. Nice to meet you." he greeted while waving his hand to calm Yuno down as the ice are still pointed to him.

"*nod* Yuno Kotomine." he replied as he still has his guard up.

"You're tense eh? Well yeah, I just came to greet you. Later." Says Levi as he turn around and walk away.

'That's why the room is so clean. What a twist.' he thought as the portal around him started to close and he also turn around to get inside his room.

After unpacking his belongings he nods as he seems to be satisfied with his new home.

"My control over ice is already on par on what I've seen on those memories and my stats are now high even though I didn't kill that much of strays but my level didn't increase though it's not that important. But I still need more practice to stop time like Esdeath. Though I have a skill which I created that copies the structure of Gate of Babylon of Gilgamesh." he said while looking at his new status.

'Oww fuck, I'm excited for tomorrow. Calm down Yuno, you need to make a good first impression to her tomorrow.' he thought as he is excited to see the girl he is interested in person.

"Even though I knew that this world is full of dangers, I still can't help but be excited to see those characters in real life." murmured Yuno while thinking his dark past.

When he is still alive on his past life, he always simps for Kuroka and Sona. He just love their character. Their personality, body structure and behavior.

'Haha, what am I thinking. They are different from real life, but I still hope that they still do have those qualities. Being alone in this world will also gonna be hard as I need someone to help me protect my family in case I'm busy. Though I become accustomed on fighting alone and doing things on my own as my parents can't help me with it.' he laugh dryly as he think of those things.

He lie on his bed and started to close his eyes as he still have a early day for tomorrow.

After a few minutes, he open his eyes just to see a sight which he wants to forget. A lot of blurry people are standing in front of him. Cursing him, kicking him, and different kind of beating. Yuno tries to blast them off with his ice but to no avail. All he could was to stare at them while they beat him with his emotionless eyes.

"Fucking killer! We won't let you die without suffering!"

"Worthless brat!"

"Wahhhhh! Mommy! That boy is evil!"

Yuno just stare at them without saying anything. He just let them to what they want. No one know what is going on inside his head.

After a few hours of torture, he saw someone walk towards him. When he saw the person, his body shook violently as he lose his cool and wants to scream. The person is now in front of him as he is hold a box. He then open the box as a massive count of spiders rush towards Yuno. His face finally show an expression, a hopeless expression to be exact. He look at the one who held the box and a pained expression also form in his face as that person is one of the people he trust dearly.

'I don't want to go through this again!!!' he scream in his mind as the spiders are already close to him.

But before it can reach him, he suddenly woke up.

"*Haah* *haah* *haah*"

He look around him just to see his new room. He look towards his window and saw that it's still in the middle of the night. His body is covered with cold sweat and it is now shaking without a stop. He tried to calm himself down but he can't as he still remember the clear picture of his nightmare.

"Why? Why can't I forget about my past?" he whisper as he held his head with his hands.

"I already have a family right? Just why? Why can't I forget about it? Do I need to go through this for the rest of my life? It's been sixteen years and none change. What's wrong? What else do I need to do? What should I do? I don't know anymore." he murmured as his pent up emotion is now venting out.

Yuno then felt something on his cheeks and reach his hands on it. He look at his hands to see that there are some liquid in it.

"Eh? What is this? They always calls me strong even in my last life, but why am I crying? Am I this weak? Haha." he whisper to himself as he continue wiping his tears with his hands but to no avail. His tears are falling non stop so he stop wiping it and just laugh dryly.

After half of an hour Yuno felt that his body is feeling weak and his eyes are a bit sore. He slowly close his eyes as he is afraid to see that nightmare again and he finally fell asleep peacefully.
