25 Life’s a voyage that’s homeward bound.

The next day I was visited by Agent Coulson, I thought he was there to tell me what the whole deal with Director Fury was last night but I was really surprised by the reason he was here. When he came in he had a trolley with a stack of files.

"Good morning Agent Nightshade, these files are for your study and once you get done with these you will be fast-tracked through some other training programs, we need to increase your clearance to level 5 and that will come with a lot of tests and evaluations. After evaluations and training are done and you have been given the level 5 clearance you will be read in on the project that you will be moving to next. The Laptop here has videos all the training you need to attend, some are prerecorded and others will be live, the schedule is all on the laptop and has secure connection capabilities that you can use with the phone that you have. Apart from these files that you can't take out of this room, the only other practical training is one that you get to choose, the list is on the Laptop, pick one complete it and set up the evaluation for Level 5 from the Laptop when you are ready. For now, you are on medical leave till your arm is healed up and you can go home for the vacation and spend some time in the test labs near there to evaluate new changes to your abilities. Since you told me that you can now hold the energy on your skin, may be the scientists in that lab can figure out how you can better harness this energy"

"OK, I'll go over files and select what practical skill I have to learn next. After that, I can go home."

"Since you are already level 3, I can tell you 2 of your classmates are going to the Academy's Science and Technology division, you can invite them to work with you on your tests on your abilities, it's only an option but it is up to you. If you want to involve either one or both of them is up to you."

"Oh there are 2, I knew of only one it's fine ill talk to the one I know since I trust her and find out who is the other and if I want the other one involved too."

He left the trolley and then walked out, I opened up the laptop and checked to see if I could find what the practical course I could pick. There were quite a few options that I could easily learn in a week or so, as I scrolled through them one of them really caught my eye. There was an option on the list that really intrigued and interested me quite a bit. I was really going to enjoy learning this one. The course was learning to fly a Quinjet, there was an actual reason for why an agent would need this but that wasn't really that important to me. I decided to sign up for the course and send it in for approval for me to learn. Then got to start reading the files. They were all case files on the missions multiple field agents and specialists had gone on in regard to enhanced that they had encountered and contained detailed mission reports.

It took me 2 weeks to finish reading up the files and to understand and learn from their encounters as well as to finagle a deal with Coulson and the flight instructor to learn on the flight back home from the flight instructor. I finished reading the instruction manual, the flight training manuals and the entire blueprints and documents about repair and maintenance of the Quinjet. I was all ready for this flight home and learning how to fly this Quinjet.

My Bags were packed and I was excited about the crash course on flying a S.H.I.E.L.D. Quinjet while it was taking me back home or technically I would be flying myself back home. I reached the roof of the building with the 2 suitcases with my things and the tech equipment and classified files that the Lab would need in regards to my test purposes.

When I reached the roof it was still empty, I was early but I thought the jet will be here anyways. But suddenly my passive scan picked up a person in the middle of empty air and I realized what was happening and I looked at that the person and smiled. Then the jet became visible and my flight instructor walked out and smiled at me.

"Good Afternoon Agent May, and thank you for the help with this."

"It's OK I have been a little cooped up. a little bit of flying around the world will be a nice change of pace"

"Let's get up then. So what's the plan, I fly and you guide me on, if I make a mistake or you have any advice you let me know. Does that sound ok ?"

"Alright, let's go then, take off and let's get started. Get up the Quinjet to hover then engage the cloaking. Alright well done now slowly take us up, use the guidance system to set towards the water and gain height. Now that we are over water go straight up to 55,000 feet and set guidance towards the office building near your house, the GPS will guide you. We will mostly, as you know fly straight to our destination but there are a few no-fly zones even at our height that we need to respect so just follow the guidance system."

"Now that we are set on course, I just wanted to say it's just easy to fly this thing it practically flies itself, doesn't it?"

"Yes almost, Taking off and Landing and doing those 2 in non-standard weather and terrain is what is basically difficult. You will also be practicing that but probably that we will do on the simulator instead of an actual jet so as to not damage it."
