4 Everything’s different, and yet everything’s the same. Time is just a crazy game.

I tried to take a deep breath in that purple haze and woke up with a jerk hitting my head on something hard. I looked around, and I was lying in a field and recognized it as the football field, I had bashed my head into the forehead of the PE teacher who was looking over me and the rest of my classmates were around me. I looked down at my bare chest and noticed the Lichtenberg figure from the lightning strike spreading above my heart. I looked up at all of them smiled and said "Who gave me this Lichtenberg tattoo? It looks good, but I hope it washes off or my mom is going to kill me for getting a tattoo without asking first."

And then there was chaos

"Are you alright buddy?"

"Does it hurt anywhere?"

"Did the lightning hurt more or the football to the head?"

...

Then the PE teacher, Mr Peters shouted "Alright, that's enough, everyone, get back, give him some space. Billy and Kal help him stand up and take him to the infirmary, Nikki and Nebula go and let the VP know what happened and the rest of you back to your homeroom class."

Billy and Kal helped me stand up, and I was a little unstable on my feet, so they supported me as we walked away from the field with Billy and Kal holding me up and Mr Peters had let the rest of the class back to the room and to check if the Nurse was there in the infirmary and to call in the on-call Doctor. Nikki and Nebula were walking ahead of us going in the same direction to the VP's office and whispering to each other, and I was looking at her, Nebula was walking in front of me and I could feel my heart beating rapidly in my chest like it would break through my rib cage and jump out and I knew it wasn't just the lightning strike causing it.

When we reached the infirmary and lay down on the bed, I asked Billy "How long was I unconscious for?"

"Not long, no longer than a minute, but when Mr Peters was checking your pulse, he couldn't find it, your heart wasn't beating and you weren't breathing, and then he felt your pulse suddenly and you got up with a deep breath and smashed your head into his forehead. HAHAHA!! He is definitely going to get back at you for it when we have our running practice"

Kal who was standing next to him also started laughing in his loud booming voice.

As I lay there hearing them laugh, I was wondering what exactly was that place I was in why did it feeling I was there for hours or maybe even days yet barely a minute had actually passed in the real world. As I relaxed I could suddenly feel that sensation of that purple haze flowing within me being formed in my heart and flowing via my blood to the rest of my body, unlike that other place where I was breathing it in I could feel it being formed here in real life in my heart and I wasn't sure what was happening. It didn't seem to be doing anything at all as I felt it flow into my body and get absorbed slowly.

Then the doctor walked in with Mr Peters and the VP Mr Baird and said: "Hi, My name is Dr Kavita, how are you feeling?"

"I am alright, I guess just my stomach hurts from laughing at him too much" replied Billy.

"Alright, that's enough from you two jokers go back to class" shouted Mr Peters.

"I am actually feeling okayish Doc, it hurts a little on my jaw where the football hit" while pointing towards my heart, I said "and here, but considering what happened it doesn't hurt that much"

"Alright, let me take a look," she said while taking off my shirt and looking at the Lichtenberg figures on my chest. She took my pulse and listened to my heart and lungs or whatever they do use a stethoscope for. Then she applied pressure on my chest and stomach and back asking if it hurt.

I replied in the negative for the most part. She looked surprised after the examination was over went over to the medicine cabinet unlocked it and took out a medicine bottle and took out two pills from it and then brought out a cream and some gauze and tape, came over to me applied the cream to the burn mark over my heart and then covered it with the gauze and taped it up.

"Alright for now keep this cream and apply it twice a day after cleaning the area with soap and have these two pills one for now one for later if you still feel the pain is a lot, rest for now till your parents come and go to the hospital and get a complete check up done."

Then they left me by myself in the room and told me the nurse is in the next room if I need something. After they left I could feel the purple haze flowing into my jaw and the burn on my chest at a slowly increasing rate and the pain seemed to lessen as it did. An hour later by the time my parents arrived, It didn't hurt anywhere at all. They, of course, didn't believe me and took me straight to the Hospital and after a rigorous battery of health I was pronounced completely healthy and that the results of the blood test that they took would be available in the evening.

I came home and was told to go straight to bed and I did. The hospital called in the evening and the report was as I expected normal and now that nobody was on my head to keep resting, so I went to my computer to check on the internet if I could find something like this happening to anyone else, I even went ahead and created a few google search result alerts for it after finding nothing at all after an hour of searching, and so I went to sleep early to get ready for the next day to come.
