1 Chapter 1 The Apostle
All I can see is darkness where am I what am I what's my name what's that sound why can't I remember anything am I dead?
I woke up feeling water droplets flow down my back i was confused and had many questions but I couldn't even think before I heard a sound

"What's this?" I asked to get no reply 'so I'm a apostle I don't know what that is but at least I know what I am' I thought to myself as a sharp pain suddenly rises from my sides and stomach
It feels like I haven't stem anything in years what is this throbbing sensation I'm feeling It wasn't here when I woke up it 'ahhh' it hurts so bad
"Ughh" it hurts I'm hungry so hungry anything something
I NEED FOOD
As I heard footsteps slowly start approaching I suddenly let out a sound
*screech*
"FOOD" I said while charging towards the sound of footsteps
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT" a armored human man said
I don't understand what he said but it doesn't matter all that matters is to stop this pain
I attack him bitting into his neck
"ARGHHH"
You turn to the other
"WAHHHh Stay away from me you monster"
He swings a sword vertically towards you and it scratches your face and chest but you ignore it
*Screech*
I slice his arms off then bite into him and he screams in agony

Slowly i start sucking the blood from the corpse

"NOT ENOUGH" i said as i turn to the other corpse

I jump back as soon as I heard the voice i could tell he's different from those 2 he's stronger I need to be careful when dealing with him I honestly doubt I can beat him
suddenly 5 more humans come out behind the man asking
"Commander what is that creature" asked one of the humans behind him
"hmmm I don't know but he does look like he's stronger than a regular soldier I thought I would be bored waiting guess not" He says
Then all of a sudden you feel a pressure coming from his direction and you stare at him as it starts to gather at his sword a light blue energy now surrounds the sword
He then moves so fast you can only watch as he strikes you from behind
*Crush*
'did I die?'

"What happen I'm sure I just died" then you remember what the strange box in the air said

Then i remember experiencing that excruciating pain expecting it to hit agian you prepare to feel it but it never comes
"What why am I not experiencing that pain again"
Confused you hear the same two sets of footprints from before
Should I kill them like last time or should I do things differently? But I don't want to feel that pain again so just in case I'll kill them quietly so I don't get hungry

Hmm I should get out of here before that guy appears
You start walking towards a a mountain that doesn't seem to have anyone near it as quiet as possible to avoid any situation with that man again

I've been walking for hours and I reached some sort of cliff I used it to see if I could see a place I can stay for a bit till I can understand my current situation but what I saw next surprises me.
Once I got a good look at what I saw I realized that it was a village of some sort but something was off I got a good look....
It was all burned their were corpses everywhere as if a group of monsters or bandits ransacked the small village
I slowly start walking towards the village to see what happened
Hmmm Strange the wounds don't appear to be that of a monsters but that of clean slashes and stabs
"So it was bandits? Or was it someone else like those guys I met earlier."
I start to wonder what was happening and you doubt that those guys were bandits as they were fully armed with armor and good looking weapons
I start to hear some form of crying and as i slowly approach it you see a small child standing there with a bear in her hands
She starts to scream "Mom why did you have to leave me here!?!"
I slowly approach her and ask "What's wrong little one?"
She then jumps back and falls to the ground shook as she looked at me as I asked again
"What's wrong that you would scream out in agony?" Not understanding what happened you could tell she was in distress from her screaming and crying
The little girl couldn't understand you and slowly starts backing away while shaking with tears in her eyes
I than start approaching her slowly
"STAY AWAY FROM ME MONSTER" She says as she covers her head as to protect her self but you still couldn't understand
She starts to shake even more looking like she'll burst out into tears at any moment but what happened next she didn't understand
As i approach her she starts screaming at me but i still walk towards her and then put my hand on her head and start to crouch and asked again
"What is wrong little girl?"
She then starts to calm down a bit but you can clearly tell she is still scared of you, i then grab her bear she dropped at the ground and dust it off and hand it to her
She grabs it hugging it as if her life was depending on it
I slowly start trying to calm the girl down by patting her head trying to tell her its fine but you clearly know that if those knights were to come back she would die
And you thought to yourself that you couldn't let that happen you didn't feel sorry for those knights you killed but this was a innocent little girl who couldn't defend herself
So you grab her hand and slowly start walking out at first she struggled to try to make you to let go of her and you stop to see why she was so hesitant and then you see a body of a woman beside a place that looked like a basement as if she was trying to protect whatever was inside you look to the girl beside you as she starts to cry again while seeing the body
"Ohh this must have been your mother" As you said coldly you didn't feel sad while seeing the body as she was already dead but the little girl was starting to cry while looking at the body
'What a waste' You thought
"You shouldn't waste your tears on the person who tried to protect you and instead should focus on how to survive to not waste the opportunity you were given" You said as she looked confused as she couldn't tell what you were saying but she some how understood what you were trying to say
'Well its not like I know the value of life' You thought
But all of a sudden

'Hmm what's this, Sword energy, isn't that what that one man was using' If I could get that than I would get exponentially more powerful
I haven't tried the appraisal skill yet so might as well as try it out now

'What's the point in apprising it if it tells me noting useful!? ' Guess I have to increase its level somehow' Well time to go I grabbed Alexia's hand although she still seemed a bit reluctant but didn't say anything I then start walking towards the forest
As I kept walking I hit a river and decided to let the girl rest as we have been traveling all day long and I doubt that she can keep going without rest as I was about to sit down she starts tugging on my hand
She starts to say in a low voice "I'm Hungry can you get me something to eat?" Like always I don't understand her but then hear her stomach starts to growl
'Oh she must be hungry' I slowly started to ember the pain I once felt and thought that I didn't want he feeling the same pain I felt
'Well guess I have to look for some food for her' as I walked towards her and pointed at her to sit on a rock by the river she starts to sit down and as I try to point saying don't move as I walk towards the forest
Once I started walking towards the forest I hear some things in the bushes that don't jump out as they are to intimidated even think about as I keep walking I start hearing roars and all types of other beast and strange plants but I ignore it and keep walking
While in the forest I saw a group of wolves hunting and as I jumped on top of a tree I start thinking 'Hmm before I fight this time I might as well try to appraise them'

'Hmm they don't seem that strong but their is around 5 of them' i start thinking if i should fight them or not
'Well it doesn't matter they don't seem that dangerous' i say as i jumped out of the tree and start facing towards the pack of wolves
As i jumped down all of the wolves immediately Turn towards me and start Growling i then charged at the closest one to me and sliced it in 2 but 2 more of them start charging towards me to attack as one of them bite into my shoulder, it slowly starts biting harder getting as deep as it possibly can but in reality it barely broke through my skin, as i start trying to get it off me the other one keeps charging towards me
'I cant die like this to a pack of dogs' As i think that i crushed the skull of the wolf digging into my shoulder killing it
I then throw the corpse towards the wolf charging at me
*Bang*
The wolf charging at the speed it was couldn't avoid it so once it took on the hit it was thrown onto a tree the wolf then gets back up and charges at my way and the 2 other wolves who were waiting in front of what it seemed like the alpha charged my way at the same time
*tiring*

'Shit!?' I quickly jump up to a tree and started jumping away so I didn't I have to fight a 3 on 1 i was about 40 meters away when i decided to use 'Appraise' on the 2 bigger wolves

'Damn these two might be a little difficult to deal with' I guess I was right to back up I need to start using my skills to fight these guys

You start to jump around seeing if you can surprise attack them once you see a opening at one of them you charge in on it
*Stab*
I instantly stab it in its side making it fall to the ground Whining as the other two start running towards me, I jumped back Preparing myself for the 2 charging Wolves when all of a sudden the one on the ground gets back up and tries to bite my leg i see this and quickly stab it in its head making sure that its dead this time
But while I was distracted the Greater fanged wolf jumps at me I quickly tried to avoid it but the smaller one quickly chews onto my leg making sure I cant move
I then sliced at the weaker one not killing it but just enough for it to let go of my leg and I quickly try to dodge the one mid air but as I do it scratch's my face leaving a mark and as it lands I charge at it trying to take advantage of it its unsteady landing and I quickly pierce its neck making it fall to the ground
*sigh* 'lets hope that's all of them' All of a sudden I start to realize that their was still one more I then hear a vicious growl clearly different from the others as this growl had a lot of authority and power backing it almost like it was royalty, I quickly jump back preparing myself for another fight
I could feel that this wolf was stronger it gave off a pressure more so than the others, he was the alpha and he wanted me to know it with his sense of superiority, as the alpha wolf was just watching as all of his subordinates died he was also trying to measure my strength, it made me mad it made me fell like I was just being played with
"Ok Tuff guy lets see what your made of!"
