29 29. Emma's past?

''Sit down. We need to talk.'' She took cookies and tea and put on the table waiting for him to sit down. She saw he felt uncomfortable as he watched the tea so she made him coffee and put it in front of him. ''Everyone has different taste. Can you tell me where your brother might be?''

He sipped on his coffee with scrunched eyebrows. ''It seems you are not angry?''

''You did all you could to compensate for his disappearance. So far you did a great job. Why should I even be angry? I could see him willingly leaving on hi sown so it's not like you killed him and took over his place with force. It is just I need to know what is going on. Who is your brother and where can I find him?'' She earnestly stared at his face looking forth for his answers.

He inhaled the coffee smell and slumped his shoulders. ''It seems you mean lots to him. To apply as simple handyman to you with his standing and sending you his most elite soldiers and trustees, you are really something special to him.''

Emma Thompson just blinked. ''I really have no idea what you are talking about. Before he started here we met just once and that as just for a few minutes on the cruise ship. After that, we had no personal contact at all. How is he supposed to have any deep feelings for me?''

He stared at her curious expression and chuckled. ''I think you want to meet my wife. She can tell you everything. please come.''

He put his coffee down and smiled brightly at her. This was the first time he smiled at her so openly since the day he arrived.

She stood up and followed him quietly. Soon they arrived in front of their apartment where noises of children could be heard and the soft laughter of a woman. The ringing stopped the laughter for a second and when the door opened two small heads popped out and smiled at Oliver. ''Papa!''

A young woman with dark hair and a set of green eyes came on the door and was about to hug him when she saw Emma and froze. She dint know how to react at that moment until Emma just smiled at her and patted children's heads.

''It seems we never introduced before. I am Emma Thompson.'' Her simple introduction and her hand in front of her showed her positivity.

The pretty woman smiled showing a set of pure white teeth and hugged astonished Emma. ''Sister-in-law welcome.''

She dragged the stunned woman inside the apartment and sat her down on the simple couch while rushing to the kitchen and preparing simple sweets that she got cooked before.

''This is something everyone gets lately so I made cookies with it. It thinks its tastier this way.'' She gave a piece of cookie to still frozen Emma and sat next to her.

''I brought her here as she has no idea why Mario is interested in her.'' He chuckled and smiled while looking at the quiet Emma that just blinked as she looked from to the other.

''It's not a very long story. Mario... Met you long before you even married your husband.'' She smiled as Emma's face became even more stunned.

''How is that even possible. I don't remember him.'' She shook her head as she looked at the smiling woman.

''Let's start then with my introduction. I am Sarah Jones. Nothing clicks?'' She expected at least something at mentioning her name but Emma just shook her head. ''Wait, please don't tell me you forgot about us from our time in the orphanage?''

Emma blinked and then realized. ''When I was in my teens I had an accident and lost all memories from my childhood. The only person who found me and was around me at that time was my previous husband. That is one of the reasons I married him.''

Sarah just shook her head and looked at her husband. ''Look her. If I knew this thing happened I would have found her a long time ago. I wish I knew. We all thought you became rich and just didn't want to contact us. Wait did Mario knew about your past?''

Emma looked at Oliver that nodded. ''It is possible. How can not the King know about her previous accident? But probably he found out just a short while ago. He probably didn't want to get in contact with you as you were still married, but since you divorced he chose to get as near as possible.''

''Oh...'' was everything Emma could say. The information about her past was strangely locked in secret files and wherever she looked she couldn't find any information about her birth, her parents or her past. It was all like lost or like she never existed.

''Can you tell me about my past. I tried hard to find any information, but it was all erased.'' She hopefully looked at the two people and they sighed.

''That story might take longer. But we have things to do now, Boss. I promise we will tell you everything. Can you help me find Mario? He probably is in his hiding lair. I tried to contact him but as you had your eyes everywhere I just stopped and hope that he survived.'' He had worried expression.

''Then let's go to my main computer. Sarah, take the kids, Aisa will love to play with them while we check the data.'' She took Sarah's hand while Oliver picked up the children and they went to the eight floors.

Aisa was already waiting there as Emma called her. She saw Oliver with the beautiful woman and children coming in and her eyes became cold. ''Commander?''

Emma just hugged her overprotective daughter and laughed. ''This is not Mario.''

When she heard mother's words Aisa's body relaxed. ''Twins?''

He came in front of her and saluted. ''Commander Oliver Santini on board, mam.'' And smiled brightly at her. She just chuckled and saluted back. ''Niece Aisa Thompson reporting back, Uncle Oliver.''

Everyone laughed except Emma. What Uncle, What Niece? What are they talking about...
