6 06. The clean break-up

The day they came back they slept in the hotel room. Her now ex-husband waited for them in the hotel restaurant with all the papers ready.

His heart had a thinge of reluctance as he saw the healthy glow on Emma's face. She took off the big glasses warily and rubbed her eyes as they were too dry.

He stood up and when he came back he put a package next to her and sat down again. ''You always have dry eyes doe the staring in that pc. Take care more about yourself. There are eyedrops you need.''

Then he fiddled with a ring that was still on his finger and his eyes darkened as he saw that she already took off her own. ''You wanted to divorce me so badly?''

Her clear eyes stared at him directly making him avert his gaze away.

She didn't comment anything on this question but smiled lightly at his stiff expression. ''Did you bring papers? Is everything finished?''

He reluctantly nodded. ''As promised I gave away all the rights on Aisa if you give me the Yacht and the big store in mid of the city.''

All she did is was just drinking her juice with relish and nodding.

''Good. So from now on, we are no more husband and wife?'' She took slowly the papers on the table as they were some kind of treasures.

He suddenly put his hand on papers and want to say something but something inside of him stopped it. She just removed his hand off the documents and stuffed them into her bag.

''I will take private things from home, before leaving. Can I get two more days? Need to find a new place.'' She was quite calm and straightforward now as they anyway leave in opposite directions.

''I will give you one more week. Take all you need. I plan anyway to renovate the house.'' Actually the house as it is was completely made by his taste but he couldn't leave it this way or it would remind him of all the things about her.

''Are you sure?'' She was quite surprised about that offer. Seeing him accept that she will not be shy and take everything she could and bring it to save heaven. Why buy new things if you can get them for free?

So when she went back to her room she found Aisa happily playing some game and holding her newest friend. Baby Greman Sheppard. Famous about their smartness and protectiveness. But for now, she was actually protecting him as she held him in her lap where he slept.

''Aisa. You are officially just my daughter from now on. Your father even offered me to take everything I nee from the house. So I rented a company that will strip everything we want from that house.'' She invested a bunch of money and thought in this house. The most important thing in the house was in the basement. Huge cells that were used for daily energy but collected through solars on the roof.

''Mom will this be enough for that place?'' She considered the space inside and was wondering actually.

''My child. Of course, It won't. I just take some free stuff. It is never too much. For the other, I already sent the company to install the basement floor with only energy cells. With that much energy, we can live for decades without even setting foot outside.'' She smiled at the astonished face of her daughter and giggled.

''The first floor will be a military unit. I plan to save some private soldiers and make them my army. There will be whole units that could just fight the zombies.''

''The second floor will be vegetable and grain fields. From top to bottom I will use every inch to make food.''

''The third floor will be farm animals. I am not Noah. I will bring in just what we can use as our food.''

''From forth until the seventh floor will be living units. We can try to save as many people as we can.''

''The eight-floor will be our place. No one else to be able to enter.''

''The ninth will be the main base with all kinds of gadgets and computers. We need someone to be captain.''

''And tenth will be as I said before the main energy field.''

Aisa sat down and started nibbling her lips. ''What about water, air and personal waste.''

''Water will be set under every floor like a huge basin. Actually it is made that way already. And it is huge insulation as well. Air will be collected from outside at first then sealed and used then clean air after going through the disinfection process. After a while, we will get some air from plants as well. Waste will be disinfected and used as manure on our grass and grain fields.''

There were two more floors that she didn't want to tell Aisa about until it was time. They could serve them just in case something happened and tehy needed to escape their own place.
