8 Invitation

A sudden deep voice could be heard from the third elder's house, "Come in."

The group entered the house and just after entering the voice could be heard again."Welcome."

After hearing the voice Kim looks at where the voice comes from and a middle-aged man with a black mustache, long hair wearing black clothes could be seen seating in a chair while drinking tea.

Father this is Kim, he was the one who saved us from the 8th layer Qi Sensing Realm Dark Fanged Wolf. (Dark Fanged Wolf was the name of the monster that attacked them)

"Un," The third elder nodded.

"Hello, you must be the third elder." Said Kim as he cupped his hands.

"And you must be Kim, Let me introduce my self I'm Wu Chen the Third Elder of the Whistling Cloud Sect." Said the third elder as he introduces himself.

"I'm Kim a wandering cultivator." Said Kim as he introduces himself back.

"Please have a seat." said the Third elder.

"Thanks," Kim said as he took the third elders' offer and take a seat.

Do you want to drink tea? The third elder asked

"Sure it would be a pleasure." Said Kim as the third elder ordered his servants to brew some tea.

Soon the tea arrived

"Please have your self," Said the third elder

"Thanks." Kim thanked the third elder and vegan to take a sip from the tea.

The third elder stops drinking his tea and put it at the table and said." I want to thank you for saving my son and his friend's lives, as a reward I would accept any request from you as long as it's within my means."

"You don't really have to just take it as a favor from you.," said Kim as he smiled at the third elder.

"Alright, If you don't want anything now then maybe later." Said the third elder as he rise his teacup and took a sip from his tea.

The two talked for a bit before the third elder said a certain question.

"Would you like to join the Whistling Cloud Sect?, I'll give you a deacon position if you join." The third elder smiled as he asked Kim.

The third elder and Kim looked at each other but was broken after Kim replied to the third elder's invitation

"No, If I join I would lose all my freedom," Kim replied as he smiled back at the third elder.

The whole room was silent and awkward but a loud laugh could be heard causing the awkward situation to disappear.

"Hahaha, to think that an unknown cultivator would be offered by the third elder to join the Sect personally but he was still denied." An unknown voice said as his laughter almost cause the whole room to almost shake.
