Preparing for the Dead zone and meeting outlaws
The plan designed by Vishal was presented to the board and respective budget estimates were made. The guys with rich fathers in the board objected to the plan and undermined the plan saying that there is no value that can be achieved by the project. Vishal already had plans to take these guys out from the board but he will wait for the right opportunity to strike at them.
But Vishal and his father owns the majority of share holding so it was no problem to getting it passed through vote because out of 12 board members, members are extremely loyal to Ravindra and Vishal because they not only had their lives changed due to the father and son but some of them had families which had medical and economic problems which were solved after help from the company.
After that the plan was presented to the city hall. Due to the popularity of the company and since the company is only trying to do these activities in the areas under their control, it was approved but they faced some difficulties since one of the guys in the office threatened them for bribes by telling them that false cases will be lodged in court against the company.
The next day, they had to pay the necessary bribe to get it approved but Vigilante was not so silent. That night the official got beaten in his own house and all the bribes he has took and the details were exposed to media with anonymous tip leaving the company's details aside.
Mayor and the city hall was slammed not only in newspapers but also in social media. They released a statement that the guilty will be charged and punished to save face.
For the next two months, the project went with an astonishing pace. The new machines which are used for cleaning the filthy roads, streets and also machines for tree plantation and fitting new pipes etc were unveiled which made the work too easy.
In the outskirts many solar panels were arranged with a station. The clean energy helped the low level households much more than others.
With the tree plantations across the streets which grew fastly due to the new fertilizer infused with plant magic which is organic but also speeds up the growth.
The smog or any other air pollutants in the areas of the company started disappearing as they have also planted trees in the areas of their cereal factory.
Vishal is getting ready to face the dead zone as system has alerted him that the task will be assigned soon.
"System, shall we check the bloodlines?" asked Vishal.
He kept it pending for this much time because of his work.
System showed him the list of bloodlines.

Eight options were displayed to Vishal. He removed 2,3,4,5. He was tempted with others.
When he looked at the last he raised the eyebrows. "Nephalem. As in Diablo game?" asked Vishal.
"Yes host. An offspring of Angels and Demons who stop aging but can be killed." said the system.
"Well, they are the balance breakers in Diablo world so there should atleast be one weakness right?" said Vishal.
"New Gods and Old Gods are tempting but if they get face slapped by likes of Superman then there is no use. As for Hellspawn, there is always AL Simmons so I don't need it.
I'll take the Nephalem Bloodline because I don't like the extreme Black which is Demons nor extreme white which is the angels. I'll take the grey path." said Vishal.
"I knew it host." said the system.
"Well I am getting sick of the extremeties and I do not want to be in either side." said Vishal.
"I am adding a bonus host. After mastering your bloodline powers upto 75%, the weakness of Nephalem Bloodline will disappear." said the system.
"Why the sudden bonus?" asked Vishal.
"You are following the path you have set out to do instead of giving up or changing the path. Take this as an encouragement from the supreme being." said the system.
"I see. But I need to know how much I've changed things and how much I have to do. Is there a meter or something?" asked Vishal.
"You will know it after the dead zone. Now fusing will begin. Close the doors and get ready for hell of a pain." said the system.
Vishal closed the door and cast a sleeping spell on himself after he said to the system to fuse it after the spell is cast on himself.
"Bloodline fusion initiated"
"Nepahlem Bloodline fusion ongoing.."
"Fusion time 1 day".
"Bloodline fusion: 2%"
Vishal faced Nighmares in sleep and also experience a bit of pain in sleep. It was a hellish 24 hours when he woke up.
He looked at the window and saw two horns and white wings. He tried something else and saw red wings and angelic halo.
He flicked and they all disappeared. "Now I am ready for the dead zone. This dead zone seems different from others." said Vishal
The next day...
After the office is done, he and his father were back to mansion. They were opening the door when a voice came "Old man, kid".
They looked and saw Red Hood carrying Roy Harper whose body is changing color. Along with him there is Starfire and Artemis.
"What happened?" asked Ravindra.
"I'll tell you later." said Red Hood.
They took the unconscious Harper to Jason's room.
"Some kind of neurotoxin. Were you fighting Copperhead?" asked Vishal.
They were all surprised and it confirmed his suspicions.
Vishal placed his hand on the head of Roy and white light appeared. Roy's body changed back to normal.
"I told you didn't I." said Red Hood to Starfire.
"He'll wake up in an hour. Let's have a talk downstairs. Someone can be with him" said Vishal.
Vishal was feeling uneasy because Artemis or the outlaws aren't supposed to be in Injustice world before Injustice events.
"I'll stay with him." said Kori.
The remaining made way to the sofa downstairs.
"Now tell me ? What happened?" asked Ravindra seriously.
Jason was a bit scared with the expression but he knows Ravindra is concerned.
"The team was on a mission to track down a crime boss who recently appeared in Central City. We got a tip about a drug cartel managed by this boss. Didn't think the boss is Copperhead who has poisons as her arsenal.
We stormed the warehouses and got information where the crime boss resides and infiltrated it. We've wiped out most of those guys but Roy got scratched by Copperhead's nails which contained the neurotoxin." explained Red Hood.
"When did you start working with these guys?" asked Vishal.
"It has been 2 months. I am Artemis of the Amazons. Nice to meet you." said Artemis.
"Likewise." he gave her a hand which she shook.
"System isn't Artemis supposed to die during the events of Injustice. So her fate has changed due to my actions?" asked Vishal.
"Yes host." said the system. " But her character in Injustice is far different from what I am seeing now." said Vishal to system.
"You might not know but due to your actions the Amazons are in a civil war." said the system.
"Not my problem. If the want to fight and kill themselves they can do it. But strange thing is Bizarro is missing." said Vishal.
"Well this version of outlaws will be different host." said the system.
"Look Jason. Please be careful next time." said Ravindra sighing.
"Sorry old man. I.. I was reckless. I'll be careful." said Red hood with his head down.
"There are rooms for guests. You can show them. Jason, take some time off from the fighting and enjoy the new changes in Gotham with your new partners." said Ravindra.
"Yeah. Before that I need you to sleep on the sofa." said Vishal.
"Why?" asked Jason.
"You can't fool me Jason. I can see your lack of sleep from a mile away. The Nightmares of that night still won't go away.
I can cure it so that nightmares won't haunt you every night." reprimanded Vishal.
"What?" asked Artemis shocked.
"Fool. Why didn't you tell me?" asked Artemis.
Red Hood could not only scratch his head before lying down on sofa.
Vishal sent the supernatural Qi and decreased the damage in brain and also wiped out the effects of the pit. He stimulated the part where dreams come to give good dreams mostly while encountering bad dreams rarely. Jason fell into deep sleep with beautiful dreams.
Arsenal and Kori came down and introductions happened and they were shown to their rooms to rest.
"Atleast a positive outcome has come with my actions. She is better with the outlaws than her own island." thought Vishal as he and his father went back to their rooms.
