28 Justice League's anger

The next day when the news about the Black Gate massacre appeared, not only Gotham but entire nation was in uproar. The news came out about how a masked guy named "Vigilante" was arrested by Police for killing most of the rogues who escaped and when he was transported to Black Gate he used it to kill Victor Zsasz and about 85% prisoners in the prison.

Even Batman and his family couldn't stop him. The news was diluted mostly to decrease the anger that is going to be projected towards the GCPD for showing incompetence from stopping a riot from happening.

Social media is filled with buzz about the massacre.

#Looks like some angry guy had enough of it and chopped the criminals like vegetables.

#His name is Vigilante. He left some of them alive but other than that no one was alive.

#Well Black gate is filled with shit cases. Someone did a great job doing a dirty work.

# Are you serious? He killed people. He killed people there. How can you talk like that?

#Coz garbage is not people. It needs to be wiped out from not only te streets from the earth itself.

While most of them were happy, there are some who opposed the massacre as good human beings hiding behind scum faces.

Many psychologists came in TV condemning the actions of Vigilante as a sick human being who needs to be treated for a syndrome.

In just 1 day Vigilante became the enemy of the state.

In the Batcave...

Everyone including Batman appeared from a healing chamber that Wayne developed to treat critical wounds.

"Most of their physical wounds are gone but mentally they took a powerful hit which made them feel afraid and angry.

Bruce frowned as he could not believe that even after using all he got he could not take down vigilante. He was not bothered about the defeat but the way Vigilante played with him was affecting him.

Barbara came in with Alfred. Alfred had a serious expression.

"How are you doing, Bruce?" asked Barbara.

"I am fine." said Bruce brushing it off as if nothing happened.

When she asked others they had uneasy expressions.

"He was too strong. Even after all of us combined with Death Stroke couldn't defeat him." said Dick.

Alfred looked at Bruce and said "Master Bruce, here's the breakfast. I'll be leaving now." sternly.

They were all surprised but Bruce was not.

"He is pissed. You put their lives in danger against a powerful threat." said Barbara.

Bruce Wayne's head bent in shame. "He is superhuman and an intelligent one. He perfectly masked his powers to make sure you all are deceived. He caught you off guard.

You won't stand a chance without taking the help of the League. Even though this is our city we can't staand a chance against a threat like this without external help." said Barbara.

Barbara used the wheelchair to go away leaving others.

The next day...

Batman and his clan except Barbara went to watch tower and core member meeting was held.

"Are you alright, Bruce?" asked Superman with concern.

"Yes. The guy did not have any intention to kill me. If he had I would be in a coffin." said Bruce.

They were surprised about the new vigilante who came and caused chaos in one day without any innocent casualties.

"We need to stop him before he does anything more." said Wonder Woman with anger.

"Man, didn't expect you to be done in that badly, Bats." said Flash.

"He looks like a newly awakened superhuman different from MP." said Lantern.

"I agree. He countered all my martial arts as if it is nothing to him. He doesn't view me and you guys as heroes but as hypocrites." said Batman.

Their faces became ugly on hearing it. No one ever said that to their faces directly.

"Then he is a murderer. What's so depressing about it?" said Cyborg.

"The thing is he doesn't have innocent blood in his hands." replied Batman.

"I want him to be put in a highly secured cell for metahumans." said GL.

"Agreed." said Superman.

Martian Manhunter kept quiet as he sensed that people are happy but kept quiet.

Manhunter did not vote about the issue with 6 votes to capture and throw him in "Capital Superhuman reformation institute".

The members are all angry. While Vishal took the day off and slept without care in the world.
