Chapter 62 From the Inside

After communication ended, General Vyron helped the archers and mages to provide cover for the retreating swordsmen

General Vyron and the Hellfire Titan clashes with their swords and claws, an even battle

About 1 or 2 minutes later, all the swordsmen have finally retreated and the archers and mages now focuses their attacks towards the titan

With their ranged support, the even battle slowly turns for the elves' advantage

The titan is not given any time to attack or even think due to the barrage of the elves

sword in hand, General Vyron heads towards the titan's feet "Hurricane Slash!!!"

Before the titan could even try to attack him, the general slashed the titan's right foot all the way through it's anterior tibial tendon

Though he didn't manage to cut it off, the damage done was enough to make the titan kneel on one leg

The general was fully expecting the titan to go berserk and attack him with full force, but not only did the titan not do that, it turns its head towards the archers and mages and opens its mouth, releasing a Hellfire Breath

"Mages!!"

The mages comes in front of the archers and uses all of their energy to create a powerful msgic shield to block the titan's attack

The Hellfire Breath arrives and the magic shield stood its ground, managing to block the titan's attack

A few second later the Hellfire Breath dissipates and the mages' magic shield also dissipates with it

Though the titan's attack didn't manage to kill them, it did however temporarily rendered the mages unable to fight as they've all used their energy to block the titan's attack

That alone was enough for the titan to focus its attack on the general once more, with one leg kneeling it covers its claw with Hellfire and continues its fight with the general

The general and the titan clashes with their swords and claws once more, though the titan is very injured it was still an even fight

Even with the archers' support the fight was still fairly even, as the archers' attacks are only able to leave shallow wounds

The general and the titan's clash was repetitive, the titan attacks with a Hellfire Claw, the general dodges and is met with another Hellfire Claw, which the general blocks with his Hurricane Slash, and repeat

After a minute of fighting, the general shows a hint of exhaustion which the titan notices and immediately releases a Hellfire Breath in front of the general

"Hurricane Slash!!!!"

Powerful wind energy covers the general's sword once more but this time it extended to five meters and with it, the general splits the Hellfire Breath into two

As the titan's mouth was still open, the general rushes towards the titan with his sword pointed at it's mouth

"Hurricane Point!!!"

[Hurricane Point: Powerful wind energy compresses to the tip of the user's weapon, and with the user's choice, it wil release a powerful beam of concentrated wind energy that can deal a great amount of damage to it's targets

The general's energy transfers to the tip of his sword and converts to wind energy before concentrating into a smal ball

But before the general could release it's attack, the general is met with a Hellfire Claw from his left side

Before the general even noticed, the Hellfire Claw hits the general and sends him flying to the ground

Seeing the general getting directly hit with it's attack, the titan turns around towards the archers and mages, it stands up and slowly limp walks towards them

But it thought wrong.....

The attack caused several wounds and bruises to the general but he quickly stands up and rushes towards the titan's back

"Hurricane Point!!!!"

In just a few seconds, the general reaches the the titan's back and stabs his sword at the center of it's back

"Release!!!"

Suddenly the small concentrated ball of wind energy expands and explodes, not only causing the titan's body to overflow with wind energy but also completely destroying its Hellfire Core and its whole internal body

The general falls to the ground in exhaustion and stays there for a while, he looked at the titan's corpse to confirm its death before using some of his energy to release a loud message towards the archers and mages

"I need a medic!!!!" .....
