Chapter 1: Life
"Hey Prats!"
The person looked at the direction where his name was called,
"Oh... It's just you..."
"Hey! Cold as always huh, Prats?"
He always annoy him everytime he looks at his phone. The cold man just looked at him and returned on scrolling on his phone.
"Sheesh... That's why you never had friends nor a girlfriend because you've been like that ever since she-"
"Shut up."
Suddenly the room went silent after the cold man told him to shut up with a voice that made scare the people around him.
"Scary as always... That's why your kind of amazing in my opinion."
The cold man sighed and looked at him and said
"Why do you kept annoying me Paul."
"HEY! You said my name! That's a first time in a lifetime!"
The cold man got annoyed and he immediately got out of the room carrying his bag and phone in hand.
"Hey Paul... Why do you keep on talking with him? Aren't you scared at all?"
"Why would I get scared at him? He's just a human being, just like us."
"Hey Anna! Don't bother cause that guy has a nail stuck on his head."
"Hey that's rude Gorilla."
"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU SAY?!"
"Enough already! Both of you!"
Immediately, Anna stopped the muscled man on punching Paul. While Paul is laughing at him hysterically.
"Where did that guy go again?"
...
"That's better..."
The cold man was lying down on the rooftop after escaping on that annoying guy. He immediately turned on his phone and continued on scrolling. On his phone, displays a Webtoon Story about a female MC.
"As always..."
He turned off his phone and put it on his chest.
"Still a shitty story... Coming back in the past, marrying the Prince, having a harem that never ends in that route, the Artstyle... Is all the fucking same."
What Webtoon you guys are reading? Is it the Adventure type? Harem? RomCom? Thriller? Or any kind of genre? This guy... Prats Bautista, 18 years old who is living in the town of the Philippines and just like any 18 years old people like him, they're still at school. But Prats is just a normal Filipino teenager who reads Webtoon or Novel in his free time.
But why the coldness? Because after he was born, his mother died at the hospital. His father was a bastard who kept drinking and beating him because of one thing. Being born in this world and everytime his father drinks he kept badmouthing and saying that he was a killer who killed his own mother and a waste of space.
When he was 7 years old, he met a girl who's the same age as him and they became close friends but one day, his father tried to rape the girl and Prats tried to save her but he was beaten up to death by his father. He almost lost his consciousness but he slowly got up, grabbed a bottle of beer and he hit his father on his head.
He immediately grabbed the girl's arm and quickly ran towards the exit but his father grabbed the leg of the girl, leading to trip down. The girl immediately shouted for help but it was raining that time so no one can hear her voice.
The girl tried to struggle but it was no use. The father immediately told Prats.
"DON'T YOU DARE RUN AWAY BRAT! AFTER I FINISH EATING HER UP, I'LL KILL YOU!"
Prats immediately got scared making his feet trembled. His father looked at him trembling, and give a disgusting smile. He pulled the body of the girl to his room. The girl looked at Prats face with a face that saying "Help".
Prats stopped trembling and grabbed a knife in the kitchen then he ran towards his father and stabbed him by his head. The father quickly died, after a few minutes people started opening the door and after a few push they opened the door and saw the dead body of a man, a little girl trembling and Prats, standing while looking at his father's cold body.
A siren of an ambulance and police car shook the place the silent town. The little girl was saved and rushed to the hospital while Prats was held in custody in the police station to tell what happened. After a few days, he was released and he was escorted by a young police who was the one in charged of the case. The family of the little girl moved away after that incident but before they moved, they immediately entered the police station where Prats was, the parents saw him and immediately the mother slapped Prats while the father tried to stopped her wife. The young police immediately rushed to the scene and tried to stop the woman.
"Why are you stopping me! His father almost raped my daughter and scarred her for lifetime! He's a monster like his dad!"
After hearing those words. Prats heard a snap. The rope that was keeping his mentality strong was snap. The young police immediately escorted them outside, leaving the destroyed Young Prats in the room.
The young police told the things they know about and helped them on their daughters hospital bill.
Prats at the time, don't know what to do if he will keep living or kill himself but...
"Hey Kid."
Prats looked at the police with a murky eyes that's almost lifeless.
"Come inside the car."
Prats slowly entered the police car, he stared at the police with a face who lost his life. The young police was hurt just by looking the kids eyes. He immediately made up his mind and told Prats.
"Come with me. I'll raise you up."
Prats didn't know what he meant by that because his mind was jumbled at what happened that day. The young police was Zack and he knows the life this kid had because he lived a life with a toxic family but not as close as Prats life. Rick raised the scarred Prats until he became 18 years old. He recovered but the scars and his murky, lifeless eyes was still there.

Prats was sleeping when he heard a Crow leading him to wake up. He stand up, looked at his phone and saw that it was 5:30 pm. He climbed down to the rooftop and immediately went home. While he was walking home, he opened his phone to read the webtoon.
"I will love you as always and never to abandon you again."
Happy Ending.
Prats immediately give it a bad review and typed on the Webtoon comments about the bad things about it. That immediately got the top reacted comments in the Webtoon.
"Don't really care about the story. It's still the same old shit like any other Female Main Character webtoon story. Same plot. Same Artstyle. Same shit."
He closed his phone and immediately put it on his pocket. After a few minutes of walking he arrived on his house.
"I'm here."
Prats closed the door, removed his shoes and wear his slippers inside. He walked through the living room and saw Zack, holding a bottle of beer and snoring loudly.
"He didn't even close the Television... What a police you are..."
Prats changed his clothes and went to the kitchen to cook a food. After a few minutes of cooking, Zack was awoken by the smell of garlic. Zack slowly entered the kitchen and saw Prats putting the plate and food at the table.
"So your awake old man? Come and eat your food before I eat all of this."
Zack cried and that made Prats disgusted at what he saw.
"Your really a good kid Prats... I picked the right thing to raise you as my son! Come here!"
"GET AWAY FROM ME YOU SMELLY OLD MAN!"
After a quite of bonding and eating, Prats immediately grabbed the dirty plates and washed it on the dishwasher.
"Hey Prats..."
"What is it old man?"
"... Nothing, it's just... A thought."
"Huh??? What the fuck are you saying?"
"Still swearing huh? You brat."
"I don't care! Tell me what are you thinking on telling me!"
"What could've happen if your still living with your dad-"
"Same outcome. I would've killed him and leading me to suicide. Stupid old man."
They went silent a few seconds. Until Zack sighed and said
"Yeah your right. That was stupid of me."
After washing the plates that they used, Prats immediately went straight to bed. Leaving Zack on the living room, watching television.
Before he goes to sleep, he charged his phone on his desk and lied to his bed. After a few second he closed his eyes and fallen asleep.
