22 THE PAST, PART 2

"Naruto! Stop messing around and tell me you real secret." Sasuke banged on the table as he was clearly annoyed he was expecting secrets that would make him invincible, not his before breakfast work out routine.

Seeing that Sasuke was clearly annoyed Naruto was truly amused, he never had the chance of meeting someone this ignorant before.

"Good, that's the spirit, now that you have banged the table, yelled at and glared at me I should clearly give up all my secrets. But before that can I ask what made you think that I will even consider sharing my secrets with you."

"I mean the only person that will benefit from this deal will be you, what would I be getting out of it?"

When Sasuke heard this he didn't know what to say, even though he was usually intelligent, the excitement for more power had blinded him.

"Humph..." After that he ran out of the house not wanting to stay anymore.

Enjoying the embarrassment of Sasuke, he kept on eating happily.

After that he got dressed and headed to the hokage's office.

"Sir, Naruto wants to see you."

"Let him in."

"So Naruto Congratulations on formally becoming a genin."

"Thanks old man, but I came here to ask for a favour."

"Oh, and what would that favour be exactly?"

"I wanted to know if I could send my shadow clones to the missions I can't attend."

Hearing his request the hokage was shocked, but when he remembered what those mind reading ninja had told him he calmed down.

"And what would you be doing at that time?"

"Some special training." Said Naruto with some hesitation.

Upon seeing Naruto's serious and hesitant face he immediately realized that it had some thing to do with the sage of six paths so he said.

"Fine but make sure this doesn't happen often." Although he said that it was merely for context, he was actually glad about Naruto's training with the sage.

"Thanks old man, I'll be leaving then." Said Naruto as he headed back home with a huge smile on his face.

Once home Naruto created a shadow clone and sent him to his team's meeting site, the reason he wanted to send a shadow clone was because in the anime, the team started with D-Rank missions which were about finding cats and baby sitting.

And he would rather stay home and surf the system shop while enjoying the delicacies provided by the system.

As he was laying on the couch relaxed, his old memories Started to resurface again.

"Listen Pablo, this time we are using your distribution routes to transport almost all of our inventory, so you better make sure that it get to where it needs to safely or else, i am going to hold you accountable."

"Don't you worry Mr. Garcia when have I ever let the cartel down, it will all be safely delivered so don't worry."

"Ok then finalize everything by tomorrow we will move tomorrow night."

Back in the apartment.

"Mom hold still, I know it hurts but I need to disinfect your wounds." Said the kid while dabbing his mom's wounds with alcohol, feeling lucky over the fact that his sister wasn't here to see this.

Although Pablo was a trash human being, he used to only lay his hand on her when he was drunk, but ever since he got that promotion he started getting sadistic, to the point that he brought a hookers home and fucked them on their bed, while ordering his wife to watch.

And just like earlier he cuts her up if she argues with him, but never on her face cause he said it's the her only feature that keeps her alive.

"Son I'm ok, you should be getting ready for school." As she said this she tried to stand up but got dizzy and fell back down, she had lost to much blood because her wound had been continuously bleeding while her son had been unconscious.

Seeing this the kid started to tear up, and used every last bit of his strength to drag his mom to the couch and laid her down gently.

Sitting by his mom's side he gently caressed her hair, and promised her that he would protect her from now on and swore that he will never let her get abused anymore.

Singing was heard as the door opened and Pablo walked in high spirits, he came her to get his son so that they can map out tomorrow's route.

"Hey son what are you doing with that bitch, trust me she got what she deserved, no woman should talk back to her man, that is a sign of disrespect. Now lets go we have work to do, and once we're done I'll get you some pizza, how does that sound." Pablo smiled as he spoke clearly in a good mood.

"Listen son, I know I hit you earlier, but it was only because you scared me when you jumped at me, I am really sorry son. But now this is the finals, the game to win them all the holly grail if you will."

"once we do this map then that's it. New house, cars, girls you name it we will have it. I can even buy you a house to live in with just you, your mother and your sister, and I will leave you alone. How does that sound." Pablo wanted to make sure that this went smoothly so he pulled out all the stops.

"R-really do you mean it" Asked the kid with hopeful tone.

"I swear on my dead parents" Said Pablo with a serious face.

Pablo:'Hahaha, what would you expect he is still a kid after all, he actually believes that I will let him slip through my fingers, I don't think so, I made him now he's my golden goose.'

The kid:'hehehe, sorry dad but do you really think I would believe a single word you say, I have twice your IQ you moron, Tomorrow's run will be your end, I swear it.'
