"Daichi-san, Haruto is making that perverted and scary smile again~" Tsukishima said out loud and smirked at Haruto.

"What are you saying, bastard." Haruto frowned and made his way back to the line to switch courts as they finished the first set.

When they switched sides and sat down to replenish their fluids, Asahi kept glancing at Haruto, seemingly wanting to ask something.

"Haruto, how did you hit past that tall guy with no eyebrows!?" Hinata yelled out excitedly and that caught the attention of the team as they also had the same question.

"Well since the time I first played against them, I looked at the small movements and habits they did with their body and tried to find any I could take advantage of."

"I had a small clue back then and I just wanted to confirm it. That last point helped me see that he had a slight delay when going up for a block so I made my swing faster to use that small delay to my advantage."

After Haruto explained what he did, the whole team went quiet and didn't know what to say.

"Haruto, you really are kinda scary…" Hinata moved back quickly and gave a weird look towards him.

"Don't worry it took me a shorter time to find it as I already had an idea from the time I played against him before. If I didn't it would have taken me longer."

Haruto said while chuckling but it still didn't drop Hinata's guard against him.

"Alright guys we just need to push for one more set and we got this match in the bag." Ukai said out loud and gathered the attention of everyone.

"Haruto and Asahi keep on swinging since you guys are our main firepower. Hinata, keep on putting pressure on them to mark you so our hitters can have more options to hit from." Ukai said and everyone gathered to cheer and went off to the second set.

"Touch! Get the cover!!" Date Tech's blockers yelled out as they touched Hinata's normal quick attack behind Kageyama.

Haruto was at the back ready for the cross to come to him.

Date Tech's setter gave a quick set to their middle and Kageyama tried to stop the attack. Unfortunately their middle hit Kageyamas' forearm at an angle and made the ball bounce off going out.

"YESS!" Date Tech celebrated and tried to push through as they were trying to catch up to Karasuno's score of [23-16] with Karasuno leading. Haruto continued to exploit the habit of Aone and the other blockers he fought against, earning them lots of points and a big lead.

Asahi also pulled through with his spikes and Hinata also contributed with the minus tempo.

"Cut off their serves now!!" Ukai yelled out and everyone got low to receive. They did a normal overhand and Nishinoya passed it .

"Givee it to mee!" Hinata yelled out and jumped up.

Date Tech got flustered by the sudden yell and jumped up to block Hinata. Unfortunately for them, Kageyama set the ball not near the net but near the attack line allowing for a back attack.

"Ooof" Haruto gave a quick breath out as he swung from the back row and smashed it earning them a point, letting them need one more to win the match.

"Kageyama win us the last point!!" Haruto yelled out and got ready for any receive to come his way as he was still not at the front court needing one more rotation to be at the net.

Kageyama did his jump serve and it made a strong arc as it passed the net.

"Like hell we'll lose this point" Date Tech's receiver tried to reach the ball but the force behind the serve was too strong so it went back over to Karasuno's side.

"CHANCE BALL!!!"

Ukai yelled out and Nishinoya gave a pass to the spot where the setter is.

"HERE!" Asahi yelled out and got a tempo set to him. The blockers on the other side quickly got into position by shuffling and jumped up to make a wall. Asahi swung as hard as he could but was blocked.

The ball was dropping and Nishinoya saw the ball.

'I can't reach it…'

He suddenly crouched down and quickly placed his foot underneath the ball, getting it up.

"HOLY SHIT HE USED HIS FOOT" "WOAHHH"

The spectators watching yelled out loud as his action of using his foot shocked them to the core.

"AGAIN!" Asahi called for the ball again and Kageyama gave a high set to him, the one that he prefers. Asahi smashed the ball and hit the fingertips of the blockers making the ball go out. Date Tech's libero tried to reach it but landed in front of him.

"ALRIGHT!" Asahi yelled out and everyone surrounded him and celebrated.

The whistle blew and the game ended with Karasuno's victory. They lined up to shake hands. Aone and Haruto looked at each other and shook each other's hands.

"Next time."

"Yes next time."

Haruto smiled at Aone's words and made his way back to the bench.

"Good job guys. Now rest up on the bus and get ready for tomorrow since it will be one of our biggest games yet." Ukai said and the team looked towards the court next to them.

"Nice Serve Oikawa!!" Oikawa smiled and quickly glanced at Karasuno before doing his serve.

Haruto made his way out of the school and said goodbye to everyone. They just finished talking about the formation they will use to help counter Oikawa's serve.

They decided that the middles will stay away and not receive at all, leaving the serve receive to Haruto, Daichi and Nishinoya as the three of them were their team's best passers.

"Haaah"

Haruto gave a quick yawn as he walked up the stairs of his apartment, he might have not used all his stamina physically but he felt mentally drained since he was thinking and analyzing a lot during his game against Date Tech.

"Welcome back Haruto. You came just in time for dinner." Mahiru quickly stepped out of the kitchen as she heard the door click and greeted Haruto with a smile as he took off his shoes.

"I'm home Mahiru." Haruto gazed at Mahiru and gave a smile back and went to his room to put his stuff away.

"How did you guys do?" Mahiru asked as she placed the dishes on the table and Haruto helped place the plates and utensils that they would use.

"We won all our games on the first day. Our first match was pretty easy but our second game was a bit more difficult, since we had to face against a guy with no eyebrows that was good at blocking."

"A guy with no eyebrows?" Mahiru gave a confused stare and Haruto explained his matches as they ate their dinner together.

"Will you have your match tomorrow as well or do you have breaks in between them?"

"Our Inter High goes three days straight so we would have to go back to the gymnasium tomorrow to play our next match.." Haruto said as he finished up the food on his plate.

"Hmm, is that so..." Mahiru hummed to herself and looked at Haruto's face while thinking about something.

'Would Yaichi be free tomorrow…'

The two of them finished dinner and Haruto quickly washed the plates as Mahiru was also in the kitchen packing the leftover foods in containers to store them in the fridge. He wiped his hands and made his way to the couch to relax for the day.

"Haah." Haruto gave another yawn before feeling like his eyelids were getting heavy.

"Haruto would you like the leftove-" Mahiru went to the living room to ask Haruto a question but noticed that he had his eyes closed and his head down while sitting on the couch.

Mahiru slowly walked to where he was and tilted her head to look at his face.

"The food must have been the final nail in the coffin to send him into dreamland." Mahiru giggled before finishing what she was doing in the kitchen and went to sit beside Haruto on the couch.

Mahiru just stared at Haruto sleeping for a bit before gently moving his body and placing his head on her lap.

"You will get a sore neck if you continue sleeping like that, you know." Mahiru whispered as to not wake him up.

Mahiru saw Haruto's slightly messy black hair and gently brushed her fingers through his hair to try and fix it. His hair was smooth making Mahiru slightly jealous since it takes her quite a bit of effort to make her hair like his.

She began to poke his cheek in annoyance, making Haruto slightly move around before stopping as he felt comfortable where he was laying right now.

Mahiru stopped and giggled after seeing him stop and continued to brush her fingers in his hair, fixing it in the process.
