Information about the leveling system, classes, and gear

I am going to describe all the CURRENT game mechanics. Some things are yet to be revealed or developed. If you have any questions please use the paragraph comment section and ask about something directly. Item levels are also affected by the quality of an item, a level 10 rare item is going to be better than a level 15 uncommon item. Legacy and higher items don't have levels and they get stronger as the player tiers up. That way they have a permanent use. I will go into tiers later in this info page.

Junk item - The bottom grade in terms of worth and usefulness. Every player ignores or throws things away of this quality. Provides no benefit and takes up inventory space.

Common item - This item grade is much more useful than junk and can be bought at most shops. These are everyday items players use like low grade healing potions or rations for long travels.

Uncommon item - This grade of items can be bought, but its much more expensive. More common in monster or boss drops. These items usually are the things sold in the auction house and are used by the majority of players since its the most reoccurring useful things.

Rare item - You will come across these items, but you will have to look hard and fight hard for them. Unique NPC's can craft or reward these types of items for you. These are the most valuable to hardcore players since they have more opportunity to come across these types of items. Your casual players will stick with Uncommon grade.

Very Rare item - Now we are getting to the higher end stuff. It is very rare to find an NPC selling very rare items. So most players get these items from drops and usually have to do multiple runs before they get something in this grade.

Epic item - These are the top of the line items before we get into the things that are pretty much impossible to find without knowing about it before hand. Epic items are the items that go for the highest prices in the auction house. Nobody in there right mind would sell something higher grade than this.

Legacy item - We are reaching the realm of one of a kind items that have no reproductions. Legacy and higher items are all unique and special in there own way with there own rules. The odds of finding these on a consistent basis is impossible. If you ever come across a legacy item you are set both in the game and in real life.

Legendary item - Only 2 legendary items have been discovered out of the billions of players already playing the game. They have both been discovered by Cera and he gave up one cause it was a quest item and he couldn't use it. He has kept the other legendary item since it fits him perfectly. These are priceless in both the real world and Ancients World, if you ever come across one of these you are guaranteed to be a top player in the future.

Divine item - This is the top of the food chain. If you come into possession of an item of divine quality you will be a person worth billions of dollars to corporations around the world. You will have many more opportunities for success than anyone else. There is only one divine item that has been discovered and Cera has it.

Now I will go into detail about the leveling system and how it works.

The leveling system works as a percentage system as of chapter 56. Skills can be leveled up by successfully using them in combat against real opponents. Cera did a trial that was a simulation by the system, the simulation didn't create real opponents. Only programs that hold no real value, therefore he received no exp for those fights. Now an important note is every time you die you lose an entire level. If you are working a special quest than sometime death penalties are worse.

That is the main information about the leveling and skill system. Now its time to talk about classes and their values and mechanics, you can only class change 3 times with epic or lower grade classes. If you get your hands on a class that is legacy and higher you cant change classes. Another important piece of information is players aren't the only ones searching and wielding powerful classes. Many NPC's have legacy and epic classes. With most legacy and higher classes you get a higher life rating, this improves stats and makes it harder to defeat you. We will start from the lowest grade in classes and make our way up.

Junk classes - You have to be one of the most idiotic people on the planet if you think this is a class you want to keep. These types of classes have no benefits and are more of a burden. Every person has always changed once they received a junk class.

Common classes - These are the classes everyone gets from the beginner city class venders. You don't have to actually get a class if you don't want to from the venders, but its widely agreed upon that the little benefits are worth wasting a class change. This way you wont die so much in the beginning of your journey in Ancients World.

Uncommon classes - These are classes that are easy to come by if you know where to look. They can be sold by NPC's, but you will more than likely have to prove that you are worthy for it. Many of the guilds infantry force have uncommon classes. Same goes for a kingdoms army and units.

Rare classes - These classes are much more powerful than the previously mentioned classes. Taking a big step like this comes with benefits and risks. When we get to this level you get better skills that the previous 3 don't have as well as quests that are unique to the people who wield these classes. Lets say you get a class called Elite Mercenary, all fellow elite mercenaries will have access to the same special quest pertaining to that class.

Very Rare classes - A powered up version of rare classes and they are much harder to come by. Only special and named NPC's can give you these. There may be opportunities you get these types of classes from special quests or bosses, but you have to know where to look and when to be there.

Epic classes - The top of the line when it comes to classes that aren't one of a kind. These will be taken by the players that search every nook and cranny in Ancients World, it has been discovered that if you study the lore hard enough you may be able to find a clue on where there at.

Legacy classes - We are now getting to the classes that are one of a kind and only one person can have. Every class above legacy is special with its own rules and stipulations. No class is remotely the same above legacy, each one has deep lore and are worth more than you can put a price on. The skills and stat boosts at this level and higher is mind boggling. Anyone who wields a class like this will be treated like a precious commodity to anyone with a brain between their ears.

Legendary classes - The people who get a legendary class are extremely low. Cera doesn't know how many had a legendary class in the future since most hid their identities. It was theorized that out of the tens of billions of players, only around 25 had discovered legendary classes in the playing time of 5 years. There is only one class known to be of legendary quality at this time and that is The Abyss Walker, an unequaled magic class taken by the gamer Stubbed Toe.

Divine classes - These classes have unlimited potential when it comes to combat and worth. Out of the billions of player that got classes in the future, less than a calculable number on a phone calculator got a divine class. The skills and stat boosts that come from these classes are unimaginable, and you are given access to shape the outcome of Ancients World with your actions. Every class above legacy gets one of a kind quests and special treatment by NPC's. There is only one person in Ancients World that has a divine class and that's Cera. Cera also received the highest possible life rating for a player.

These are the functions and mechanics of the leveling system, classes, and gear in Ancients World. I will now explain the last thing that is tiers.

Tiers are a massive rise in power once you reach a certain level. Every 50 levels you get a chance to tier up. If you have an item that has the property to get stronger as you tier up then it will grow stronger as well once you complete your tier up quest. If you don't successfully tier up you have to wait for the cooldown to lift before you can try again. Some tier up quests are harder than others, the better the class and higher the level the harder the tier up quests become. If you do tier up, you will get massive boosts in health and damage output. That is why so many tier 2 and tier 3 NPC's have health in the hundreds of thousands or millions. If an NPC didn't tier up there health bar would look similar to a players low health bar. When a player begins to tier up, there health bar will begin to look like a powerful NPC's.
