60 White Yeti

Inside the trial ground

After Hou entered through the tunnel, he appeared at an unknown place.

He shivered in cold and scanned his surroundings.

He discovered himself standing alone on a big platform.

While the platform stood at the middle of a frozen lake.

Various ancient symbol and gems decorated the platform.

Hou glanced at everything in astonishment, while also pondering if he could take any of the gems.

Later, he tried to take out the gems under his feet, but they didn't budge at all.

He shook his head in pity and looked far ahead.

When he found a small green mountain, he quickly left the platform and headed towards there.

Meanwhile, a pair of eyes stared at him from above the sky.

After walking for hours, he reached the small mountain.

When he took a step on the small green mountain, pure Heavenly Qi flowed into his surroundings and entered his body.

As if it was the most delicious food, his core madly absorbed the Heavenly Qi.

When he spotted the changes inside his core, he at once dashed into the bushes.

He sat down and closed his eyes before meditating using his breathing technique.

Gradually, the Heavenly Qi filled his core and changed into Fire Qi.

Once his core was full, the Heavenly Qi stopped entering his body.

Then he circulated his Fire Qi toward his soul on each heartbeat and refined his soul.

Every time he ran out of Fire Qi, he would absorb all the Heavenly Qi from the surrounding.

Just like that, he spent a week only meditating and cultivating.

When he felt very close to the breakthrough, he stopped and opened his eyes.

With a greedy look plastered on his face, he looked toward the peak of the mountain and headed there.

As he knew, only a very rare spirit plant or fruit emitted out these Heavenly Qi around the mountain.

Meanwhile, Fan Le appeared at the bottom of the small green mountain.

He also recognized the Heavenly Qi around the area and quickly rushed toward the top.

At the peak of the mountain

Cheng Shuang and Shi Lei watched the ongoing intense battle ahead while hiding on the top of a big rock.

The intense battle was between a spirit beast and two people.

Those two people were a lady and Xiang Chu while the spirit beast was a White Yeti.

The White Yeti had reached Mid Stage Earth Origin Realm.

When Cheng Shuang and Shi Lei arrived at the peak, they found the lady and Xiang Chu fighting against each other.

Even though they didn't know the reason for the fight, they guessed the fight was for a rare resource.

So, they waited for the right timing to snatch it.

However, suddenly, there was an enraged roar.

A massive figure appeared in the fighting area.

Before anyone reacted, the massive figure smacked a heavy punch at both the lady and Xiang Chu.

At once the lady and Xiang Chu stopped their fight and focused on the massive figure.

But, they still stayed vigilant against each other and waited for a slight opening.

Afterwards, the intense battle began between those three.

Hence, both Cheng Shuang and Shi Lei stopped their step and didn't dare to even step out from their hiding spot.

Finally, Hou reached the peak and saw the sight in front of him.

With an odd expression, he looked at the battle while sipping his wine.

He also discovered the hiding Cheng Shuang and Shi Lei on the big rock.

Slowly, he approached them while pondering something.

When both Cheng Shuang and Shi Lei felt his presence, with an excited expression, they welcomed him with their wide smiles.

But Hou knew their intention clearly and just sat there with them.

Meanwhile, the White Yeti discovered them hiding on the rock.

So, it unceasingly roared out loud one roar after another in anger.

The roars echoed around the small mountain before a few roars rang from far away.

Before long, a few massive figures appeared at the peak, they were three Black Yetis, two Green Yetis and one Red Yeti.

All of them were at Early Stage Earth Origin Realm.

Once the White Yeti saw them, it roared once again like giving an order.

Afterwards, all the Yeti surrounded them in a circle, trapping everyone within the area.

The sight piqued Hou's interest and his eyes sparkled.

Hence, he prepared for a battle while channelling his Qi around his dagger.

Meanwhile, Cheng Shuang and Shi Lie with grim faces pondered over themselves whether to retreat from here.

Before they could speak, Hou dashed toward the White Yeti so fast, resembling a blurred image.

In an instant, he appeared in front the White Yeti and stroke a blow aimed at its head.

With a flash of a light, ten weapons Qi headed straight ahead at its head.

But the White Yeti just raised both its fists and responded with a punch.

Both the fists and the weapons Qi collided with each other creating a powerful shock wave.

Numerous cracks appeared around the weapons Qi before dissipating into nothingness.

Yet, both of the White Yeti's hands appeared unharmed and unscathed.

However, its eyes showed some amazement for a second.

Hou stared at the White Yeti with an amusing smile.

In an instant, he left only his afterimage at his spot before his relentless attacks came down at the White Yeti.

The White Yeti too reacted and exchange blows with him.

All this happened so fast, everyone stared at the sight in astonishment and fear.

The lady quickly recovered herself and rushed to retreat from the area while Xiang Chu pondered for a second before rushing toward the inner part.

Meanwhile, Cheng Shuang and Shi Lei didn't even have time to recover before three Black Yeti rushed toward them.

Both of them received a few hits but no mortal injuries.

Hence, they too retreated without hesitation.
