4 A Recurring Nightmare.

(Ethiopia, Jack's House)

Jack lapses into another repressed memory of his younger years back during the time of Enoch.

(Flashback)

Jack sits down on the hill, feeling the cool breeze through his thin cloth shirt, he then mediates before hearing the sound of wind blowing around him, he looks around and sees the air swirl around him before he sees a pair of yellow reptilian eyes looking straight at him, he shifts back instinctively, the eyes then move toward him and a figure forms out of the nearby air, Jack pales before continuing to shift back until he hits a rock wall, he looks back and sees the wind person kneel down to his level and grab his chin "You are mine" the air then fades and Jack watches as the wall of air fades away, he stands up and looks around before running back home.

(Flashback end)

Jack pants again feeling lost memories start coming back, he clinches his head in pain but quickly calms down and continues mediating to try and fix the seals on his primal demon.

(Flashback)

Jack wakes up and finds himself in his dreams again, he looks around and sees the usual dream stuff like family and stuff but then the place turns black and red and he hears that same wind again but this time he hears a female voice whispering "Jack, where are you, I need you" Jack feels himself blackout for a few minutes and when he comes to he finds himself bound to a post, he struggles to get out but then hears heel clacking footsteps, he looks around and doesn't see anything, he then feels someone feeling his back, he turns his head and sees a blue skinned demoness, she meets his eyes and smiles and Jack feels the evil behind her smile, she walks around him a few times before walking up to him from the front and kissing him, Jack shakes fearfully before he feels himself slipping into his demon form, (the normal one, not the primal one, that one only shows up when Jack loses complete control of his emotions, while the other demon only wants to have a laugh and play pranks and laugh at other people's misfortune though he is also one of the most powerful demons and gets easily angered when someone makes fun of his comedy) he try's to resist but before it goes any further the demoness smirks and mouths "I'll be back again soon" Jack wakes up with a sweat before calming down and going back to bed.

(Flashback end)

Jack gets up and climbs out of his basement and heads to his room and falls asleep on his bed on the left side.

(The next day)

Jack wakes up and rolls over to his right in a sleepy state, he feels another pair of arms touch his shoulders, he opens his eyes and sees Agrat sleeping next to him, he jumps and falls on his back off the bed, he groans and Agrat wakes up and sees Jack on the floor still half asleep, trying to focus, she gets up and moves his head to face her "Morning honey" Jack pales "What the hell are you doing in ma house, scratch that what the hell are you doing in my bed" Agrat smiles "What, it's a normal for people in a relationship" Jack laughs "Yeah, a normal relationship, not a forced relationship" Agrat sighs and climbs back into his bed "Well, too bad for you, now come here and go back to sleep, it's far too early to be up and about" Jack sighs and instead mediates, only for him to feel a chain wrap on his chest before being yanked back, Agrat catches him and hugs him, making sure to press his face into her chest "That includes mediation honey" Jack struggles to get out of her grip but he can't due to the chain around his chest also locking his arms to his sides, Agrat laughs "How long can you hold your breath Jack" Jack struggles but his attempts become feebler as he loses oxygen, he then passes out, Agrat smiles and lays him down next to her before slowly carving her brand onto Jacks chest.

(2 hours later)

Jack wakes up and feels a strong stinging sensation on his chest, he sits up and shakes his head to clear his vision and then he sees the brand on his chest, with Agrat nowhere to be seen, Jack grits his teeth before calming down and getting changed into his normal clothes and grabbing his robe, he then leaves his home.

(The Red Sea)

Jack walks along the shore of the Red Sea, for a while until he hears a faint humming, he looks around and hears it getting closer, he draws his gold katana and looks in the direction of the humming but then it stops, he stays cautious and hears movement behind him, he turns around and slashes but misses the attacker who looks like a Nun, Jack keeps his sword level "Valak" the Nun looks at him and eyes his brand but doesn't say anything but merely points behind Jack, he turns around only to be knocked back, Jack recovers and gets back up and level his sword again only to see a woman with jet black hair and a red form fitted dress with her face obscured by mist, she looks at him and notices his brand before Jack recognises her "Oh, shit!" Jack dashed off but hears the two demons close behind, he try's to shake them off and manages to kill the Nun, but the demon in the dress doesn't stop and follows him, Jack makes a sharp turn and loses her, he stands behind a tree and breaths heavily, his hope is dashed when he hears a voice behind him "So, it seems my daughter chose quite the man" Jack cuts the tree in half and dashes off again but before he gets far he is pulled back by the neck with a chain, the demon then holds him up by the throat "It's quite rude to run from your in laws, Jack...was it?" Jack sighs "I guess, but is it the same when you don't really want in laws, Lilith" Lilith laughs "Well, she's made herself clear and your not gonna fight her because you know what will happen" Jack remembers when Samael and him had a fight and Jack nearly won until Lilith put an end to it and nearly killed the pair of them. "Your not still sour about the fight are you" Lilith laughs before throwing Jack into a wall "No, but you keep attracting attention and now you've got yourself into quite a predicament!" Jack gets up "I never asked for this ya know" Lilith nods "I know but the heart wants what the heart wants and you will be no expectation". She disappears and leaves Jack feeling scared for his life as he now wonders what Agrat will do next, he then gathers his stuff before heading to Mount Tambour.

(Mount Tambour)

Jack relaxes against a boulder at the peak, he feels a familiar aura approach from behind, a man dressed in a white robe with yellow reptilian eyes "Samael" Samael laughs and sits down beside him "Jack, hows life" Jack looks at him with an annoyed look "You should know, it's been turned from quite and uneventful to hell recently" Samael chuckles "Yeah, sorry about that, I told them the story about our fight years ago and how you nearly won and Agrat seemed really keen on finding you" Jack looks at him shocked "Are you serious" Samael nods "Yep, deadly serious" Jack laughs "Then I assume you also told them how Lilith broke it up and nearly killed both of us afterward. Samael sighs "Yeah, that got quite a few laughs out of them" Jack and Samael laugh before Samael turns serious "But, in all seriousness why don't you want a partner, and be honest" Jack looks at him with a sad expression "Because I'm not stable Samael "You know this, I have trouble keeping myself together when I travel to heaven or hell, that's why I stay here on Earth, but it's also because I don't wanna lose anyone anymore!" he flashes back to when Gabriel was forced to strike down his brothers and sisters and only let him live thanks to Gods intervention.

Samael nods "I see, but at least give it a try, it might help it might not but, you don't know until you try" he then disappears leaving Jack alone, Jack thinks on what Samael said before heading back home and going to bed.
