1 The mysterious cave

During ancient times, there were powerful people know as mages. They stood at the apex of the world, but one day, they just disappeared. Due to that, no one was able to reach the level of power they once had, but luckily, they left behind their inheritances and the magus era started blooming again.

On the four god's mountain, which rested in the 10 provinces of the Five Element Empire, there was a small village called Ivory village.

Although it was placed on the four gods mountain, it didn't mean anything. There were many mountains with majestic names throughout the five-element empire.

Ivory village wasn't strong or weak, its village chief was a third rank magus so he made up for the lack of mages in the village.

Having the aptitude to becoming a mage was very rare to find in small villages like this. Many noble families had countless mages due to their endless resources and their ancestor's bloodline. A family was more likely to produce a mage if they carried the bloodline of one.

Of course, if someone was lucky to find one of the ancient mage's inheritance, they would soar to the sky like dragons, but unfortunately, after so many years, people believed that all the inheritances were found so one even bothered to look.

In this village, there was a boy called Aaron, although he looked like a normal boy on the outside, on the inside he held a deep secret. He wasn't from this world

After an accident on earth, he was reborn into this world of mages.

After 5 years passed, Aaron had gained the basic knowledge of this world. He had learnt to read and write, but the thing that piqued his interest the most was the fact that this world had mages.

And after he once witnessed the chief using magic, he made up his mind. He was going to be a mage.

Even though he wanted to be a mage, he knew his chances were extremely small due to that fact that he was from an unknown village without and ancestors that were mages, but that didn't stop him.

Four years from now, when he turned nine, he would get his aptitude for becoming a mage tested and start his journey towards becoming a mage.

A few months later, Aaron was exploring the four god's mountain because he had nothing to do in the village. While he was moving on top of the rocks, a cave came into his line of sight.

He wouldn't have paid any attention to it because these types of caves were normal on the mountain, but something about this cave was drawing him in.

He slowly made his into the cave. The further he walked, the darker it became, suddenly the cave was illuminated by a blinding light.
