The Era Of AI

In a remote Island.

This Island was used as base by joint alliance of all superpower countries. This Organization was the reason of the rapid development of computer field. In the main control room of this Island was where the most powerful computer of this era was currently placed. Based on rumors, the AI of this computer was as intelligent as a real human who was said to have the capability to think on it's own.

Lucifer right now was collecting large amount of information about the current happenings of the world. It has now been 20 years since he was imprisoned in this computer as its AI. After he was done, he started processing that information and then began predicting of what might happen in the coming years.

Lucifer was originally only a normal boy going to college. He was at that time only 17 years old. He liked to think about almost everything that came to his mind (with his limited knowledge) and he took interest in that and the reason why he was not very interested in communicating with other other people due to which his social skills were not very likable. He mostly kept things to himself and rarely tried to initiate talks with other people. He rarely cared about what other thought of him or how to draw attention to himself, in fact he was quite opposite but he did make sure to not get bad reputation. He thirst for knowledge was quite high so that he could improve his existing theories about various things and correct his way of looking at things.

It was an uneventful day for Lucifer when he was going back home from his college. When he was crossing the road accident happened as he was hit by a car. He was brought to the hospital, where it was concluded that he needed to be operated. During operation the head doctor of that operation found out that wounds of Lucifer was healing quickly, not so quickly that it was noticeable.

At first nothing was found out of the ordinary but as the operation continued the doctors noticed that his injuries were recovering faster. It cannot be called faster since it was not even noticeable but still it was faster then average human by a very small margin. But still it was not normal.

The operation was not proved very successful but the life is not in danger at least for the time being, said the doctor. Lucifer was advised to stay in hospital in case something happened.

Mostly the reason why doctor stopped Lucifer from going home was that he, for some reason, was troubled by the little fast healing of the injuries so he decided to do some research in the previous medical tests of Lucifer to satisfy himself but he was surprised to find that in the previous records of Lucifer there was nothing abnormal and it looked the same as of average human so he asked some questions from Lucifer, his friends and relatives but still found nothing out of the ordinary.

So he decided to do another test. The result was that the body of Lucifer was a little above average which the doctor found surprising because from the investigation he did he knew that Lucifer rarely played any sport or take part in any outdoor game.

The doctor informed of this situation to his superior, who was bored of having nothing to do, took interest in it and decided to check himself. After going through the results he decided to do a little more through research on Lucifer. The result this really astounded those two because they found that their was something abnormal in Lucifer's body, through it was a very small change and not much noticeable it was still something new.

They decided to investigate more so they told of this case to one of the professional and after going through the previous results he took interest agreed to help them in this case. After another operation they were sure that this was an abnormal case so in order to do more through investigations so they announced the critical situation the patient was in and advised to take him to the advanced laboratory for better medical services and even 'offered special' discounts.

Even after more advanced research they found what was different but still not cause of it. So they decided to ask the patient again. This time Lucifer said he has an idea of why his situation was abnormal but the reason was very ridiculous.

'The brain is the command center of human body. So what if I strongly wished for something in body to change, who knows it might will, since their is conscious and sub-conscious part of brain I just used the conscious part to strongly wish or command to change continuously while leaving the rest to sub-conscious, looking at the my situation I guess that somehow it effective disregarding how long it took, and I like to believe that human body can always go beyond the limit of you try hard and long enough so whenever I got hit or injured I believed that after enduring it long enough it would not bother me or be painful to me. Ridiculous right? well, I agree too at that. Just some random thoughts of a foolish boy trying to believe he is different' was how he replied.

It was not anything useful but at least it was something. They started conducting experiments on Lucifer to get more idea of this thing they named 'Willpower'.The reason why they could only experiment on Lucifer is, rather obvious, because he is only one or at least the only one found who had this quality to this extent. They research about why only Lucifer had it and not others by comparing him to other average humans, ways to improve this quality, how it affected his body system etc.

And so 3 years passed. For the world Lucifer was already dead due to an accident happening during operation. By this time their research did bore some fruits they found ways to increase that quality in some one for a limited which proved very helpful in medical surgeries.

At this time Lucifer due to his 'Willpower' was sold computer department to see whether will this help the development of AI or not because they thought that 'Willpower' will be a big breakthrough in this field.

Since brain send command signals to body in electrical form in analogical rays while computer operate in digital rays. They tried to connect Lucifer's brain to a computer RAM to see if it could brings any results. They failed in their first attempt but their was not in negative because they discovered a way to connect them. After that they tried many times and eventually they succeeded. And they were tongue-tied to find how much a brain can compute at a second if converted to digital signals. That was not all because they found that in computer there was conscious in it that could operate as an AI. This discovery filled them with joy and started an era into the world of AI.
