Gray said the words that would then topple the dominos.
"Why don't you go Laine? You have the Metal and Earth Elements after all."
Laine raised an eyebrow, obviously taking the hint that Gray wanted to leave. He didn't blame him though, Anastasia was... overbearing, in a way.
"Sure, it'll be good practice for me too, what about you?"
"Me? I'll be going to train my affinity."
Gray shrugged.
"It's pretty trash for my understanding after all."
"True."
Laine commented, not bothering to deny it or console Gray at all.
Gray stared blankly and asked.
"Say, would you like to take an EQ test with me?"
Laine tilted his head and hummed before saying.
"My IQ is probably higher than yours."
"Your EQ is most likely 0 then."
Laine glared at the smiling Gray before leaving. Laine, however, was thinking.
'I guess this'll be the last time I'll see you that happy won't it.
Since your brain will lost it's ability to register emotions in the explosion...'
Gray, oblivious to his thoughts, had his own.
'I wonder what I should eat after I finish with my plan. Hamburgers would be good but I think a grilled cheese might be better.'
He furrowed his brows.
'Maybe I should have soup since eating cooked food might be bad for me after the explosion.'
Gray continued working out food options and staring blankly at the ceiling while following the person discretely. If there was one talent Gray had that he had to name, even if he himself didn't know.
It would be the ability to deceive himself.
This was the key point in his plan. He would make himself believe he wandered there on accident and then knock out the guards.
Hopefully.
Soon, Gray had wandered slightly past the elevators and saw the door closing. He panicked.
"AH! Wait! Hold the door please!"
The person who held the door was obviously the one he was tailing.
"Brat, don't walk so absentmindedly, you'll die like that."
"Is that so? I'll take it to heart, keep it in mind, whatever that saying was."
Gray scratched his head while speaking. He pressed the button 6 and went silent, looking to the ceiling and thinking.
Eventually, after many minutes of elevator travel, the person right next to him completely forgot he existed.
Some might say, 'Oh that's BULLSHIT!' but have you thought about what would happen if someone didn't pay attention to someone who convinced themselves that,
They didn't exist?
The person walked out. A minute or two later, before the door closed, the closing door opened up to show a boy. ]
Of course, that boy, it was Gray.
He then stood there for hours, waiting to enter the correct state of mind for the job.
After he reached it, his body moved mindlessly. It walked with blue lightning coating his body, slowly changing to the point where he became invisible, not just to eyes but, to everything. His lightning had deflected the light by slowly emitting special EM waves as a result of increasing Lightning's frequency and decreasing it's wavelength so much that it refracted visible light away from Gray, turning him 'into' his surroundings. (Might or might not be utter bullshit.)
And it worked.
Not a single person saw him, not a single person sensed him due to his self-hypnosis either.
It went like this for hours, he travelled through dark blue metallic hallways and into glossy orange corridors. Not a single being stopped him nor even noticed him.

Laine jumped into the air, dodging a spear of water and as he was about to counterattack. He turned towards a random direction midair.
Laine looked at the direct location of not one, but two familiar faces.
'So you two came back too huh?'
He smiled slightly before returning his expression to its previous state and backflipping away from a spiraling fire spear that was sent hurtling towards him.
He turned back to the twins and smiled before a massive amount of rocks and metal began to form pebbles around him. Yes, pebbles.
METAL PEBBLES.
The twin's faces paled near instantly with the same thought in mind.
'I'd rather deal with Gray than this!'
The tor- *cough cough* training, continued.
=--=(The location Laine looked at.)=--=
In that location, at that time, a woman and a man were walking.
The man was strange, he wore a hulking suit of armor over his 8'2'' figure that would make you feel heavy even looking at it. The armor was pitch black with bronze runes embedded into the outline and crimson glowing lines passing through the joints.
The man, was a Guardian.
The woman had a long cloak on which draped over the floor behind her. If you looked carefully, you'd see it was moving. The woman was around 6'7'' and had a sensuous figure that would make normal people drool.
If one gazed hard enough, they'd see void black cornea snake eyes with a yellow iris. She was a Nagi. A female Naga.
They came across a person, however, just like Gray. No one noticed them. It would be surprising if someone who could see them saw what happened, especially since they have eye-catching bodies and auras.
Nevertheless, that didn't happen. They began to converse. The Guardian spoke first with an echoing and metallic voice.
"Do you think, what happened, travelling back. Was a second chance for us?"
The nagi hesitated before speaking in an alluring silk like voice.
"...maybe. It's entirely possible is it not? But, I don't think it was meant for us truly."
"What do you mean?"
"I think we all made horrific mistakes those 24 years. I think... I think all of us were given a choice."
The guardian walked in silence before the Nagi continued.
"It matters not what others choose, Sebastian. All we know is we have come back in time."
"And it is our choice to save that boy's emotions."
The Guardian finished.
The Nagi chuckled.
"What's so funny?"
"Do you wonder whether he'll have come back as well? If not, do you think he'll call us what he did before the explosion?"
Beneath the Guardian named Sebastian's armor, where no-one would see it, a wry smile emerged.
"Who knows?"
