2 Reality In Novel (1)

"Kid, wake up!"

A young teacher is standing in front of a classroom of 20 high school seniors; however her attention was focused on the 21st student… a young man to be specific. Unlucky number 21 somehow fell asleep standing up while the teacher was trying to keep the rest of her class in line.

"Wow…. I can't believe the transfer student dared to fall asleep in front of Ms. Athira. The idiot must be tired of living" one student whispered.

"Wait….. he's kind of cute…. at least let me get his number before he dies."

"Cuteness won't mean much if he's dead, so I bet Ms. Athira will kick him out of her class before the end of the week for his attitude."

"A week? Please…. I bet he won't last the rest of the day."

"I told you all to SHUT UP!!! Or maybe I should have you all run laps around the school again!" Ms. Athira yelled.

The class immediately turned silent upon hearing the words of their teacher. They already suffer enough under this demoness, so no reason to make it worse for everyone.

"Kid….. you better wake up right now or so help me... I'll slap you so hard that you turn blacker then I am!"

The 21st student's eyes open wide as if having been terrified by something fierce, of which he'll soon learn is a common occurrence in this class. That being said, the teen reaches for a spot right next to his neck as if trying to grab some invisible object.

"F****************k….. get the knife out get the knife out get the kni-"

If you thought that Author-nim's soul was reincarnated into the body of the 21st student… then you'd be correct. At any rate, the demoness punches the Author-nim in the back of the head.

"F***….. you dare have a nightmare in my class!! Hurry and introduce yourself!!!"

The pain brought forth by the attack brings Author-nim back to reality, and in turn his attention is brought towards his attacker.

"Oh holy s**t…. it's-"

That familiar caramel colored skin hinting of African descent, dark red hair, and constant angry expression on her face. This person looks exactly like the artist depiction Author-nim had done of "that" character such that her character summary pops into his head.

[Athira Abikanil]

Age: 26

Despite coming from a poor upbringing in a crime-filled neighborhood and despite the inferior quality of America's Hunter Academies when compared to the rest of the world, Athira would quickly gain international fame for being the most talented and youngest Gold-Ranked (and most sailor-mouthed) Hunter the USA had ever produced at the age of 22. Thanks to slaying many a monster with her massive sword many foreign guilds wished to recruit her into, however she rejected them all to teach at her alma-mater. Her fans suspect that if Athira had instead been accepted to one of the world's best Hunter Academies or into one of the foreign guilds….. then with her talent, she would have become a Diamond-Ranked hunter by now….. or perhaps even touch on the legendary Platinum Rank.

"What the f*** is going on? This has to be a dream…. There's no way getting Isekai'd is actually real!!!" Author-nim thought as he tries to make sense of the situation.

[Côté Personnage]

"Wha….. who said that?"

[Côté Personnage, which is your name in this world]

"Great….. now some strange voice in my head is calling me one of my novel's characters. This is one sick and twisted way of walking towards the ligh-"

Author-nim's train of thought was disturbed when a bright light was suddenly reflected into his eyes. Unfortunately for him however, the thing the light reflected off of was a massive sword similar in size to the one wielded by a certain former SOLDIER. That sword was being held against Author-nim's neck by a now angrier Ms. Athira.

"Did I stutter you f***ing limp banana? Introduce yourself to your classmates before I decide to cut that banana off!!!" Athira yelled.

"MY NAME IS Côté Personnage, AND MY DREAM IS TO NOT BE A COURT EUNUCH!!! IT'S NICE TO MEET YOU ALL!!!!"

Satisfied with her new student's response that was in no way out of terror, Athira rests her massive sword against the wall near her desk while the rest of the class laughs at Author-nim's face.

"Good…. so now th-"

"Ahhhh!!!! It's you!!!!!!"

Before Ms. Athira could begin with the day's lessons, a female student interrupts her lesson plan by standing up from her desk and pointing at Author-nim with a shocked expression. The female student had long dark brown braided twin-tails with a pair of large circular framed glasses. This student clearly new Author-nim given the expression on her face….. or at least she knew the original owner of the body he was inhabiting.

"F***….. yet another interruption….. it's clear that all you ladies want to go through another round of my special training." Athira yelled as she started to crack her knuckles in a threatening fashion.

The entire class glares at the twin-tailed girl with both clear hatred and full intent of jumping her if a stupid word were to come out of that mouth.

"Umm... I'm sorry" the girl said as she sat back down.

Meanwhile Author-nim was once again lost in thought as he found himself experiencing a sense of déjà vu upon witnessing this scene. His mind was just consumed with the thought of figuring out where the sensation came from.

"You there Mr. Personnage, go on and f***ing sit next to Ms. Pointy. I'm already behind enough as it is with the stupid lesson plan the Academy Board is forcing me to teach." Athira ordered.

Author-nim quickly complies with the orders of his academic drill sergeant lest she wishes to bring up the proposition of cutting his banana again.

"Damn it…. I know I've seen this scene before…. but where?!!!" Author-nim thought.

"Now where was I... ah yes. Ahem….. the USA has fallen from its spot as a top world power due to lacking higher ranked Hunters in proportion to the rest of its population when compared to other countries. No one can deny this fact, however several hundred years ago before the profession of Hunters even existed….. we had a genius at manipulating mana, of whom played a key role in securing our independence from Great Britain. Can any of you name that person?"

The entire class save for perhaps its newest member knew the answer to that question, however none dared to raise for fear of incurring their demoness of a teacher's wrath should they be wrong.

"Really? No one…. a shame….. I was planning on letting the person among you who knew the answer leave the practical training class in the afternoon a whole 5 minutes early."

This time the entire class raises their hand save for its newest member. A chance to experience the torture this demoness of a teacher calls "training" for slightly less time is simply too good to pass up. Why the students of this class would offer up their sworn companions and romantic partners without hesitation if it meant getting to leave early.

"You there Ms. Pointy…. you answer the question. Get the answer right and I won't triple the difficulty of this afternoon's practical training."

"That genius was…. it was uhhhhhh… oh right! That genius was the first president of the United States of America, the legendary George Washington."

The twin-tailed girl might have struggled to remember that name under the weight of her teacher's presence; however that name was like a lighthouse in a heavy fog for Author-nim. He had finally remembered why this entire scene seemed so familiar to him.

"Since you got that right….. well I guess that means I'm not that bad of a history teacher after all." Athira said with a smug satisfied grin.

Author-nim had written this entire scene as a flashback sequence for a certain extra in the early phase of his novel, of who was the first obstacle for his protagonist to overcome.

"No wonder that mysterious voice told me to use the name Côté Personnage. F*** me, I really was isekai'd into the world of my novel. Why couldn't it have been one of my major villains instead of someone Ju Ingong will be able to casually poke to death?!!"
