ONE BAD DAY PART 3

In a warehouse, a low level street gang are having a meeting.

"I don't know man, this shit used to be easy. Now there's Spider-Bat." One of the gang members say.

"Yeah, usually we could lay low from the cops, but now we can barely breath." Another gang member says.

At that moment laughter can be heard from an unknown source. Everyone turns to the front to see Norman Osborne, wearing a purple, green, and orange costume, walk into the room.

"Who the hell are you?"

Norman thinks for a moment.

"Well- I was thinking your new boss, but if you prefer daddy I won't judge." Norman replies.

The gang start to laugh at him.

"That's very funny, clown. Go ahead, tell us another joke."

Norman's smile becomes more sinister.

"I can do ya one better. How about a magic trick."

Norman then proceeds to pull out a pencil and slam it onto the table, sticking up.

"I'm gonna make this pencil- disappear." Norman says.

One of the gang members gets annoyed by Norman and stands up to throw him out of the room. When he reaches for him Norman quickly grabs him by the wrist and the back of the head then slams his face on the table, causing the pencil to go up into his eye. The rest of the gang members are stunned out of fear after this.

"TA-DA! It's gone. Now, does anyone else have a problem with my leadership?" Norman asks laughing.

The gang quickly shake their heads no.

"Good. Now, tonight will be a night- of chaos in New York City, HAHAHAHAHA!"

meanwhile at the NYPD precinct, a doctor is checking on the unconscious Spider-Bat.

"Amazingly, he's alright. Just a few scrapes and bruises, from what I can tell." She says.

"Thank you, Doctor Bell." Stacy says.

At that moment, Bullock slowly reaches for Peter's mask but Montoya stops him.

"What are you doing?" Montoya asks.

"Come on, you telling me that I'm the only one who wants to know who this guy is? This is our chance to find out."

"I don't think that's a good idea." Stacy says.

"Yeah whatever." Bullock says, reaching for the mask again.

Peter's Spider-Senses goes off, waking him up and quickly jumps up, pinning Bullock against the wall. Stacy and Montoya try to calm the vigilante down, who is on edge.

"Hey! It's alright. You're safe." Stacy says.

Peter looks around him and takes slow and steady breaths. He let's go of Bullock and turns to Stacy.

"Where's Osborne?" Peter asks.

"We don't know, we have cops all over the city looking for him but we haven't heard anything back yet."

"Uh- Commissioner. I think we found him." Montoya says, pointing at the TV.

Peter and Stacy looks at the TV and sees a news report about Norman Osborne.

"Moments ago we have received a chilling message from owner of Oscorp, Norman Osborne."

When the video plays, the camera starts on a camera man who has been affected by Norman's gas before we see Norman himself.

"Hello people of New York. You might not recognize me because of my change of appearance, but I am Norman Osborne. Now- I guess this is the part where I explain why what's about to happen, is happening...but that's boring. Unexplainable chaos is the best, HAHAHAHA!"

"We are getting word that a group of people, wearing pumpkins on their heads, are running ramped through the city, causing damage."

"Damn it, we gotta get out there." Stacy says.

When everyone turns around, Peter is already gone.

"You seriously have to talk to him about that." Bullock says.

"He can't handle them alone, let's get out there and back him up." Stacy says.

As the cops quickly head out, Commissioner Stacy sends Gwen a message to stay inside and lock the door.

Meanwhile Gwen sees the news and gets worried about Peter and her father. She then hears the message George Stacy sent her and thinks to herself for a minute. At that moment, the front windows are blasted out. She sees the men wearing pumpkins, with painted on smiles, try to barge into the house.

"Shit." Gwen says.

She then quickly puts on shoes, grabs her tazer, and runs to her room. Before they fully make it inside, Gwen jumps out of the window and runs away as fast as she can while calling Peter.

While that's happening, the pumpkin heads are beating men, women, even children in the street, throwing trashcans through glass, and setting cars on fire. An innocent man tries to run away but gets gunned down infront of a family who is hiding. The shooter quickly sees the family and slowly aims the gun at them. The father/ husband of the family covers his kids eyes and kisses his wife, tears falling down his face.

At that moment, Peter swings in and kicks the shooter through a car window. Two pumpkin heads charge at him, but the hero throws a web bomb, trapping them against a wall. Peter disarms another pumpkin head, lands a vicious uppercut, and kicks him to the ground. He then turns his attention to the family who are still afraid. Peter slowly walks over to them and kneels down.

"Are you all alright?" He asks.

They all stare for a moment then slowly nod their heads yes.

"Get off the street, find somewhere safe to hide."

"Thank you." The husband says.

The family quickly get up and runs off, but the daughter turns back around and gives Peter a hug before leaving. Peter can't help but smile, even as he's surrounded by multiple pumpkin heads. The vigilante cracks his neck and knuckles.

"Let's get this started."

Back with Gwen, she is still trying to get a hold of Peter or her father. While she walks through the streets of New York, she is shocked by all the destruction caused by Norman and the Pumpkin Heads. Soon Gwen hears a small boy crying in the distance. She runs a little further and sees a Pumpkin Head cornering a small boy. Gwen quickly runs up from behind and tazes him in the back of the neck, saving the boy.

"Are you ok?" Gwen asks, putting her hands on his shoulders.

The boy nods, whipping the tears from his face. At that moment more pumpkin heads start to surround both of them. Gwen quickly steps infront of the boy, trying to protect him.

"Stay behind me."She says.

One of the pumpkin heads pull out a knife and the group get closer and closer. At that moment Peter swings in and shoots out multiple webs onto the thugs, pulling them away from Gwen and the boy.

One of the Pumpkin Heads get up and swings but Peter quickly flips him to the ground and kicks him in the face. A second one throws a punch that Peter avoids, hitting him across the jaw, kicking him in the ribs and uppercuting him to the ground. Two other thugs charges at him from behind but without looking, he knocks them both through a window.

One of the Pumpkin Heads picks up a piece of wood and swings it at Peter. The vigilante easily dodges, then snaps the piece of wood by blocking it. He then punches him in the face, shattering the pumpkin mask. Peter grabs him by his shirt and punches him in the gut, and again in the face. As the thug stumbles back, Peter jumps into the air and kicks him in the chest, knocking him to the.

He then starts punching him in the face, over and over again, blood covering his knuckles, dripping from the thugs face. While Peter continues to beat on him, Norman watches from the rooftop, laughing as he does. At that moment Gwen stops Peter from throwing another punch.

"Hey, he's down. It's ok, you hear me? Breath." Gwen says, putting her hands on his face.

While Peter calms down and stops punching the thug, he wraps his arms around Gwen.

"Are you ok?" Peter asks.

"Yeah... I am now."

Norman gets frustrated by Spider-Bat stopping his assault, frowning for the first time since his transformation. He then looks at how intimate Gwen and Spider-Bat are and makes a realization and starts to smile again.

At that moment, police cars arrive and cops begin to arrest the Pumpkin Heads left standing. Commissioner Stacy quickly runs over to Gwen.

"Oh my God, Gwen."

The two share a hug.

"I'm sorry dad, I couldn't stay at the house, those guys broke in."

"All that matters is that you're alright." Stacy says.

He then turns to Spider-Bat.

"Thank you for protecting my little girl."

Peter nods as Gwen smiles.

"There's also a lost child here."

Stacy looks over and walks towards the small boy.

"Come on son, we'll help you find your parents." He says putting his jacket around the child.

When Peter sees this, he remembers when Stacy did the same to him when his parents were killed. At that moment, Peter's Spider-Senses goes off and Norman flies in and grabs Gwen. Peter's eyes widen as he runs after them without hesitation.

"No! Goddammit Osborne!" Commissioner Stacy yells.

Peter shoots out a web, sticking to Norman's glider. As they fly through the sky, Norman whips him off and Peter lands on a clock tower. Peter tries to shoot more webs at him but Norman avoids them, flying up high.

"Oh Parker. You should be more careful. Even the most foolish man can see how you act around this girl and tell its you." Norman says with a big smile.

"Let her go, Osborne!" Peter yells.

Norman laughs.

"You know, in hindsight, I should have put it together a long time ago. I mean you show up around the same time as this new vigilante, you're never around when Spider-Bat shows up. I am impressed with your little act, playing the easy going nerdy, goody two shoes. I mean for God's sakes, do you even need those glasses?"

"Norman, she has nothing to do with this." Peter replies.

"She has everything to do with this! She's holding you back. Holding you back from who you're supposed to be. From who you really are. She's trying to take you away from all of this."

Gwen looks at Norman with fear in her eyes.

"Mr. Osborne."

"Oh I'm not Mr. Osborne anymore my dear. Call me- The White Goblin! Or Goblin for short."

Peter starts to get angry.

"Norman! This is between you and me! You want a fight!? Fight me, but put her down, now!" Peter yells.

When The Goblin hears this, he looks at Peter with a smile.

"Very poor choice of words." He says.

He then drops Gwen from the sky.

"No!" Peter yells.

The vigilante quickly jumps up into the air to catch her as the two fall through the top of the clock tower, with Peter shielding her from the glass and impact.

"You ok?" Peter asks.

"Yeah...well no actually, I'm really not." Gwen says.

At that moment one of the Goblins bombs drop right beside Peter and Gwen. He quickly shields her from the explosion and slowly sets her down slowly on a large gear with one of his webs. The Goblin flies down at Peter, who flips out of the way and shoots out a web while throwing a Batarang at the same time. Norman dodges the web and catches the Batarang, crushing it with his bare hand.

Norman throws a punch that Peter avoids, jumping into the air and landing on his back. He puts Norman in a sleeper hold, holding on tightly. The Goblin sends him crashing into the wall, breaking his grip but Peter quickly kicks him in the back. The vigilante then swings on a web and kicks Norman in the face, knocking him off of the glider.

The glider goes out of control and crashes into the gear that Gwen is standing on, causing her to fall down the clock tower. Peter quickly shoots out a web, catching her in time. As he tries to pull her up, Norman comes up from behind, grabbing him by the throat and pinning him down, stepping on his arm that's holding the web that has Gwen. The Goblin tries to break his grip, grinding his boot on his arm.

"Just let go, Peter. It'll be better for everyone."

Peter then headbutts Norman and punches him in the face. Norman laughs it off then pulls out a knife. The Goblin goes to Stab Peter but Peter dodges, however that's not what Norman was aiming for. He cuts the web, sending Gwen falling down the tower. Peter quickly kicks Norman off of him, sending him into the wall, knocking him out.

He then dives after Gwen who stares up at him. Peter shoots out a web as a single tear falls down her face. The young vigilante is able to catch her before she hits the ground, but Gwen is yanked with so much force that her neck snaps. Peter quickly drops down to check on her, seeing that her eyes are closed. He then takes off his mask and holds her in his arms, cradling her body.

"Gwen?...Gwen?" He says with no response.

Peter puts his hand on the side of her face, tears forming in his eyes.

"You're ok- you're ok... you have to be ok... Gwen please- open your eyes."

Gwen still doesn't respond, causing tears to fully fall down Peter's face. The young hero starts fully crying, like he did all those years ago when his parents died.

"No please! Not you too! Gwen please, I'm begging you, open your eyes! I need you!"

No matter how much, or how loud Peter begs, there's no changing the fact that Gwen Stacy is dead. Peter buries his head into her body, still begging for her to wake up through the tears.
