18 Workaholic Noah..

Tessa rushed out of Noah's office and came running into the hallway. Her expressions were fluttered as she couldn't believe what she saw right now.

''How lucky? She can kiss and touch the man she wants''. Tessa sighed heavily as she thought about the scene she just saw.

Haoran frowned as he looked at the time. Tessa left his office ten minutes ago and still didn't came back with the file. He decided to go out and check.

He was about to get up from his chair when Tessa came in and said, ''Sir, here's the document you asked for''.

She placed the document in front of him on the table.

''Where were you? What took you so long to bring just one file?'' Haoran asked. He never compromised when it came to working.

Tessa replied, ''I went to drink water''. She lied.

Haoran's expressions changed and he asked, ''Where's Noah?''

''He's in his office and d-doing something important''. Tessa replied. Her expressions were still flustered.

''Is Misty with him?'' Haoran asked.

When Tessa nodded her head, Haoran helplessly shook his head and said, ''Inform him to complete his so-called important work and come here to attend the meeting with me as soon as possible''.

Haoran knew how workaholic Noah would go crazy like a love-struck fool upon seeing Misty within seconds. Though he never stopped him from being clingy and romantic with Misty in public he had to warn him to stay within limits.

Tessa chuckled and said, ''Okay, sir''.

Just then Tessa received a call from reception.

After attending the call, Tessa sighed and said, ''Sir, the CEO of Eco Enterprises, Ms Charlotte is here''.

''Bring her inside''. Haoran said.

Tessa nodded her head and left. It was rare for her boss to meet human women. Though it was an official meeting, he always stepped backwards from meeting women's who didn't belong to his world but this time he seemed different. 

When Tessa came out of the office, she saw the receptionist bringing a young woman along with her towards Haoran's office.

Tessa frowned when she saw that young woman wearing a mini black short skirt that was showing her slender white legs. She wore a glittery silver sleeveless top that was barely covering her cleavage. Her hair was as left on her shoulders and heavy makeup was covering her face with dark red lip colour. It seemed like she came to a pub or party rather than to attend an official meeting.

Tessa thought, ''Who comes for a meeting like this?''

''Excuse me are you Ms Charlotte?'' Tessa moved towards her and asked politely.

That young woman took off her big sunglasses, looked around while chewing bubble gum and said, ''Is there any other woman who can match M. Charlotte here?''

Controlling her anger and the urge to kick her ass, Tessa looking top to bottom at her said, ''I am sorry, but I thought it's an official meeting''.

The young woman frowned when Tessa taunted her. The receptionist standing next to her quietly laughed. 

''Are you Mr Haoran's secretary?'' Ms Charlotte asked.

Tessa nodded and said, ''I am Doctor Tessa, neurologist specialist and Haoran's secretary as well''.

The young woman came a little closer to Tessa and said, ''Just behave like a secretary and know your position''.
