6 Why don't you find your mate..

Inside the waiting room,

After almost an hour when Ash entered the waiting room with a coffee mug in her hand, Jacob Williams frowned and said, ''I have been waiting for an hour''.

''But I came after one hour and nine minutes''. Ash said while taking a sip from the mug and sitting on the couch with one leg crossed over the other.

Ignoring him, Ash turned towards Evelyn and said, ''What's next?''

''You have a meeting that was cancelled an hour ago with the Four River International CEO''. Evelyn replied.

''Hmmm, settle down everything and we will leave for the meeting together''. Ash said.

Evelyn nodded her head and left. 

Jacob Williams frowned and said, ''What's with the attitude?''

''Why are you here?'' Ash asked.

Already used to his niece harsh behaviour, Mr Jacob gritted his teeth and said, ''Why did you embarrass your elder cousin in front of everyone?''

Ash chuckled and said, ''Embarrass? Oh really? I was just trying to help her but-anyways if that is what you want to talk about Mia, the door is open, please leave''.

''You- how can you talk to me like that?'' Uncle Jacob shouted.

Glancing at the coffee mug, Ash said, ''Aren't you ashamed or tired?''

Pausing for a while, she added, ''Aren't you tired or ashamed of barging inside my office like this. I am surprised that you have the guts to talk like this when your daughter is a flop model and has no appreciation. Your wife plans dirty and my father kicked you out of the house''.

Jacob Williams frowned and said, ''What are you so proud about? Just because you are the CEO and the biggest shareholder still I also have a part in this business. I am your uncle, your father's younger brother and we share the same royal blood of our ancestors''.

Ash sighed and said, ''The only thing I cannot change but what can I do right? I have to live and get used to the fact that I am your niece and you are my uncle''.

Placing the coffee mug aside, she grabbed her cell phone and stood up to leave. Before leaving she said, ''Leave quietly and next time if you barge inside my office like this then I will ask the guards to kick you out. That would be humiliating and I am perfect at humiliating other's''.

  Jacob Williams could not do anything other than gritting his teeth and cursing his elder brother for bringing such a blunt girl over him.

At the parking lot.

''Is your uncle still inside the building?'' Evelyn asked.

Ash sighed and said, ''Yeah''. She took out the keys and unlocked the car door.

After getting inside the car, Evelyn asked, ''We just want to know about the lowest numbers right?''

''Yeah! Yeah! Just the numbers. You know if we want to secure the deal then we should have our numbers lower than all the Corporations''. Ash said while driving.

''Alright, then I will get the numbers for you''. Said Evelyn.

Ash shook her head and said, ''Take rest and don't bother work. You would be to tired after that''.

Smacking Ash's arm, Evelyn said, ''Stop it''.

Ash chuckled and smiled.

''Uncle called you to come home tomorrow early. Is there something important?'' Evelyn asked.

Ash sighed and replied, ''You know mom and dad's usual conversation 'Ash you are  22-years old. Find your mate and-' all that''.

''Seriously why don't you find a man and settle down in your peaceful life?'' Evelyn asked.

Ash frowned and said, ''I don't want to''.

Evelyn sighed and said, ''It's already been four years Ash, you have to get over it''.

Ash frowned and asked, ''I am already over everything okay''.

Evelyn smiled and said, ''I know you are already over everything but Ash you know even if we are living among humans disguised as them still no one can change our identity. Still, we are werewolf's and we have our heritage that needs to be followed. Unlike our ancestors, now werewolf's, vampires and humans do live together and even marry each other but an 18 years old and above wolf can easily sense his/her mate around. Why don't you also try?''

Evelyn paused for a while and again said, ''I am glad that you are over everything as there's no point to live in past. You know even now  he is living his life and-''

Cutting her off, Ash said, ''Alright my second mom''.

''I will get going''. Evelyn said.

Hugging her, Ash said, ''Alright best of luck babe and get the number's for the company. Tomorrow's meetings fate is in your hands now''.

''Don't worry about it and drive slowly and safely''. Evelyn said before getting down from the car and walking towards her residence.

After taking a deep sigh, Ash turned on the engine and drove away.
