9 I am sorry for the delay

Beren texted his friend and asked, ''Is there something wrong with the numbers of our FRI proposal?''

When Archer read the message he chuckled and called him back, ''I knew you would betray the company and me''.

Beren sighed and said, ''It was very drastic today''.

''Don't worry that proposal was fake that I handed you just to clown someone. The original one has already been sent to the FRI''. Archer Smith said.

''Okay then, I will see you tomorrow at the office''. Beren said before hanging up the call.

''That proposal must be fake. There's no way that devil would incur such a huge loss and try to win the bid''. Evelyn said.

Ash chuckled and said, ''Finally, Mr Smith realized that Beren is not safe''.

Evelyn sighed and said, ''Now all we can do is lower our numbers by four percent and take a chance''.

Ash nodded her head and said, ''That would be the best thing to do now''.

''Tomorrow I will pick you up from your place and then we can go together to the Four International River Corporations for the meeting''. Said Evelyn.

''Okay''. Ash said.

FRI Corporations.

Meeting room.

''Are they here yet?'' Mr Joseph the CEO of FRI Corporations and a pure werewolf asked.

His assistant shook his head and replied, ''Not yet sir''.

''Mr. Joseph, we cannot wait all day''. The other CEO's of different companies said.

''Yes, it's already 9:50 am and the meeting was supposed to start at 9:00 am''.

Just then the door opened and Beren entered the room and said, ''I am sorry for the delay but we were stuck in the traffic''.

Just then a handsome man for humans and a charming alpha for werewolf's stepped inside the room.

The CEO's who were mainly impatient humans were complaining about the schedule of the meeting quickly sealed their lips and lowered their heads when they saw the blood lover devil CEO.

  Walking towards Mr Joseph, the man said, ''I am sorry for the delay''.

Mr Joseph smiled at the charming alpha in front of him and said, ''No problem but I think a few of them here were complaining about you not arriving at the right time''.

Sitting beside Mr Joseph, Archer Smith asked, ''Really? So who was it? Do you all want to complain in front of me again?''

The CEO's who were complaining earlier gulped in nervousness and lowered their heads. Who would dare to raise their voice again in front of the devil? Well anybody who was tired of living in this world and wanted to migrate to the underworld.

Twenty-five years old Archer Smith, the legendary CEO of Smith Corporation was a cold-hearted and stoic man. He was known as the 'Devil CEO' and was feared by everyone. People called him devil not because of his aloof and cold personality but because he had his claws in every business field.

But unlike the rumours that were spread about him, he was not a womanizer. The rumours were all because of his cousin, Ryan Smith who was the total opposite of Archer Smith. If Archer Smith was ruling the business world, Ryan Smith was ruling the underworld. He was known to be the bloodthirsty man who would always smile whenever he killed someone. He was also powerful because of Archer Smith's backing, who would always cover up the dirty work that Ryan did.

Due to the misunderstandings caused by the rumours, Ryan Smith was thought to be cold and aloof as he was but in his place, Archer Smith was known to be a playful womanizer.

After taking his father's position four-five years ago, Archer Smith expanded and increased the companies resources by entering each and possible business field. From jewellery to management and also showbiz, there was nothing that Smith Corporation wasn't into. He was the legendary, hot alpha of his empire that no one dared to provoke except for one person.

''So, Mr Joseph can we start?'' Archer asked.

Mr Joseph replied, ''Ahmm, Ash Williams is not here yet''.

Just then the door opened and Ash Williams came inside with Evelyn.
