A Different Moonstruck

I was breathing deeply, focusing– no, channeling my aura into the palm of my hands. Grayson taught me to channel it, not focus.

I don't really know why, and when I asked him he only answered with, "Each word in Lunar Magic is crucial. Visualization is key, but you also have to remember that the words you use would affect your performance heavily."

"I-I… Okay," I replied, didn't really want to ask anymore and just did as was told.

Moonstrucks are blessed by the Moon Goddess. And we needed the qualities of the Moon Goddess herself to focus– channel, our magic properly.

The first one was tranquility. A Moonstruck must have a clear mind in order to cast Lunar Magic effectively. If not, then our magic wouldn't be as perfect.

The second one would be purity. And this does not mean virginity or the purity of the mind, but the purity of intention. A Moonstruck must intend to use their magic for good. Once we use it for unrighteousness, we will lose everything.

The third and final one is grace. Grayson said that a Moonstruck must act with grace and beautifully cast their abilities. We all have different ones, so how we do it would solely be on our own.

It would also reflect the other two in terms of actions. When you move gracefully with a tranquile mind and pure intention, the Lunar Magic would be the most beautiful and powerful.

And here I am, thirty minutes into "channeling" my magic into the tip of my fingertips and still felt nothing.

"Are you sure this is going to work?" I asked. "I mean, I showed signs of Lunar Magic before but that was mostly the doing of my wolf."

"Then show me your wolf," Grayson said that made my eyebrows meet.

"What?" I asked for clarification.

"I will talk to your wolf instead," Grayson said. "Maybe I will have more information to have with him than you."

'I would never,' Klint said. 'Klyde, do not let him.'

'Okay, okay,' I replied from our link. I swear I could see him pout and cross his arms, looking slightly up to his side like a sassy middle aged woman.

"You see, he doesn't want to come–"

"Astral Pull," Grayson casted and placed his hand on my chest. My mates immediately growled from the side but Grayson's face remained stoic. He placed his other hand's finger up to his lips. "Shhh."

'What is this?' Klint gasped. 'Klyde, I'm not liking this.'

My gasp followed his, feeling my body getting pulled back, 'What is happening?!'

He then pulled Klint out to replace my consciousness, smirking victoriously. "Now, let me ask you why you could cast Lunar Magic."

Klint scoffed and crossed his arms. He then raised her head slightly up to his side, just like what he just did in his wolf form.

I was watching them through my eyes, feeling everything Klint was feeling but had no control of it. It was like I was a foreigner in my own body.

'Hey, babe,' I suddenly heard Aaron spoke.

'We kinda lost control of our wolves and now they're there,' Stephen added before I could ask.

I could only sigh as I watched Grayson tie up my mates' wolves. I was chuckling after seeing how cute Apollo and Alexander tried to fight back.

Although they were good fighters in human form, it wasn't their forte. They would need to be in their wolf forms just so you could see how strong they can actually become. But this sight was priceless. I'm planning to tease them both after this.

"Stay," Grayson said. "Now, Klint. Tell me everything."

"What if I won't?" Klint sassed. I was snapping my fingers at him, proud that he learned that from me. But this didn't made Grayson to happy.

Grayson sighed and let a surge of mist run around his arm like a vortex. "I could punch a hole in your stomach with this you know."

It didn't even take a second more before Apollo and Alexander broke from the magical chains Grayson tied them up on. They instantly went in front of Grayson with a thick aura of killing intent around them.

"You could do what to our mate?" Apollo asked. "Tell us."

"I was just kidding," Grayson raised his hands beside him. I could hear Klint take a sigh of relief.

'Are we really sure we can trust this guy?' Aaron asked.

Somehow, the three of us were in our human forms inside our shared consciousness. There were three large TV-like screens in front of us, showing us the sight of the three who are now taking over our bodies.

We were in a grassy fields, a blanket underneath us and I remained seated between them. We were all naked, and it was a surprise the two didn't take advantage of me.

"Who do you think we are?" Stephen scoffed.

"I mean–" I stopped and crossed my arms. "You're really impressive right now. It's hard to determine whether you're actually holding it together or not."

"Excuse me, the consciousness cannot produce pheromones, and hormones, and all that stuff," Aaron said. "When you're in your consciousness, you're pure."

"Wow, this place is nice," I joked, returning my attention to the screens in front of us.

Klint had to hold down his mates, pulling them both closer to him and intertwining his hands with theirs.

"It's fine," he said. "Don't lose control like that again, okay?"

"Actually I invited someone over," Grayson said. "Another Moonstruck. She, yes it's a her so you don't have to worry, she's from the Merfolks. She lives in the middle of the Pacific but I have a telepath communication with her."

"And how will she help?" Klint asked.

"I think there are a lot of people right now," Apollo narrowed his eyes. "It's getting too tight."

A car suddenly arrived at the front door and a woman came rushing towards us. She had a bluish black hair and a beautiful dark complexion. "Grayson! I have something to tell, you what the hell is happening?"

"Why?" Grayson asked.

The woman was stopped by the guards, her crossing her arms and quirking her brow for them to move but they didn't even flinch.

"Okay, whatever," she said. "I have news! I have finally found the Shapeshifter's Moonstruck."

"Yeah, he's right–"

"He's inside, he's with an older guy who has plans on doing something with the kid and I would definitely protect him if I were you," she said that made my whole world stop.

I had to regain my body, to which Klint willingly agreed on. Grayson's spell was also seemed to be lifted by how easily I got it back.

"What do you mean?" I asked. "But I am… the Moonstruck."

"What?" the womans said, leaning back. "I have the ability to detect other Moonstrucks, and I do not feel it from you."

"B-But…" I couldn't finish when the back door opened and Nox came out.

"Oh, here he is, Gray," the woman cheered. "The Shapeshifter's Moonstruck!"
