STEPHAN AND KATE
CHAPTER ELEVEN
As Dr Kate went to the garage to get her car, a firm big hand came from behind and pulled her. A small yelp left her lips as she spun around in fright. It was Beta Stephan.
"Good day Beta Stephan, what…what are you doing here?" asked Dr Kate as she struggled to keep her composure.
"Did I frighten you?" asked Stephan.
"Not really…I was just…it's nothing, how may I help you today?"
Stephan stared at Dr Kate long and hard.
"You speak like I am one of your patients Kate. Have you found an answer to my question?" asked Stephan as he folded his hands before his chest. He wanted to stretch out his hands and hold her so badly it itched, it was better he folded them.
Putting her hair behind her ear, Dr Kate answered, "yes I have"
"So, what's it going to be this time around?"
"It's still a 'no' Beta Stephan. I am so sorry"
Stephan's eyes changed for a second before his normal brown colour returned on hearing her response. Dr Kate is his mate and they both found out last month but she has refused to accept him because of two reasons. The first is that she is some good years older than him and also because he is her second chance mate. Her mate who was from another pack had rejected her long ago because of some insubstantial reason and had never for once come back for her. Her wolf reckoned within her that she was Beta Stephan's mate but she didn't want to get involved with him - the reasons blared in her mind constantly and were like a chain around her but were still incapable of stopping her body to react to him and a part of her heart to beat for him.
Beta Stephan ran his hands through his hair in annoyance before facing a pillar in the garage and releasing a serious punch at it - his punch left a dent on the wall.
"The funny thing is, you reject me Kate but our freaking bond isn't severed. You are my mate and mine alone. Why are you doing this? Just why? You…you said something about it being our age difference like I give a damn about that. No other woman appeals to me like you do Kate and the earlier the better you yield to this because trust me, I won't stop till I have you. You are mine."
Immediately the last sentence was said, Stephan pushed Kate slightly to the car. She uttered not a word as she tried to think logically about the situation but her wolf-abilities were clouding her by only taking in and revelling in the scent of the lycan man before her.
Standing before her, Stephan tucked in her hair to the back of her ear and Kate closed her eyes in delight of the spark that lined her skin.
"You say something and your body says another Kate" said Stephan softly as he placed a tender kiss behind her ear. At this, Dr Kate closed her eyes.
"Why…why are you doing this to me?" she stuttered and her lips quivered.
"You want to know why?" asked Stephan and she nodded her head slowly.
His eyes shone with the lust and love he felt for the woman before him. He placed his hands on both sides of the car and Kate felt trapped but the trap felt…good. He kissed her forehead before moving to her eyes and planted soft pecks on both and then her nose - all the while Dr Kate's eyes were closed and she was almost not breathing..
Hesitating for a while as he stared at her lips, she was about to open her eyes when he placed his lips on hers. She held onto his shirt at the sudden feeling she felt at the pool of her belly. What was this feeling?
He pried her lips open with his tongue as it seemed she was star tricken before her body began to respond and she returned his kisses. Leaving his left hand by her side, he used his right hand to draw her closer to him. She smelt and felt so good.

Breaking the kiss, he looked into her hooded and dazed gaze, "you need to get going Doctor".
Like a veil of lies was being pulled off her eyes, she pushed Stephan back. "What the fuck was that?" she asked in a voice that was seething with anger.
'That was definitely not the mood you were in some seconds ago' thought Stephan.
"That was a beautiful moment that lovers shared!" said Stephan and he wanted to reach out to touch her but she swatted his hands away. "Lovers are what we never were, are not and never going to be. Get that and leave me the fuck alone!" sailKate and with that, she opened the door of her car that led to the driver's seat. Hopping in, she slammed the door angrily before speeding off but just before she completely sped off, Stephan hollered at her, "we'd continue where we stopped Doctor". He knew she heard him because her face hardened at that point and she just didn't know she looked all the more attractive to him.
When she was gone, he looked at the southern region of his body and he saw he had a bulge that needed to be soothed. He had been having cold showers being in close proximity to his mate and not being able to touch her. Just one touch and his body was reacting solidly to her.
He raced to his room and when he had shut the door, a scenario popped up in his head. He had been stalking Dr Kate and he had gone to her room. Recalling it was painful for her and she tried to block it out of her mind.
