13 Chapter 13: The Decision Belongs to Stella

Kissing Bennett Orloff, Stella felt the earth move under her feet.

That’s how she knew she had to get out of there. Fast.

By the time she returned home, Stella was shaking. All the adrenaline from the day ran through her like a river breaking a dam.

The kiss from Bennett hadn’t helped.

Although, it had been the kind of mind blowing, earth shattering, world altering kiss she’d only read about in novels.

Which is why she ran.

As fast as her little feet could carry her. Right out his front door, across the driveway. Not stopping until she was safely nestled inside her own home sweet home.
