I avoided him all day after that until he called me down for food.

"I still have a few questions," he said after handing me a plate of the steak and vegetables.

I looked up at him and then back to my meat.

"That golden envelope," he replied. "You told me it was from the future Alpha of the Cerridwen pack and then all this happens surrounding him. What did it say?"

"Just something from Logan," I said.

"Specifically," he said.

I looked down at my plate and pushed a carrot around for a bit.

He let out a frustrated sigh.

"Okay," he said, pulling my food away from me.

"Hey!" I exclaimed watching my steak get further away.

"You can have it back when you have cooperated," he said.

I folded my arms and leant back on the chair.

"What was in the letter?" He asked.

"He was telling me that when he becomes Alpha, he was going to kick Connor and me off the territory. I had to make sure he let Connor stay," I replied.
