The moon had risen to the highest part of the sky, yet Darius was still wide awake. He had just finished making food for the willful Alpha and the battered trainees. Even if Nicholai didn't want him to make anything for them, the dubbed pack mother didn't want to cook just for him. It might not be a soup like what Nicholai had for himself, but the trainees were still happy about the midnight snack.

As for the willful Alpha, he just finished the last bowl of the served soup. Darius didn't know why Nicholai liked thick soups so much, but at least he wasn't complaining about the taste. The leading Alpha even spoke like it was the most delicious.
