"What a pain.", the bank teller sighed. He moved from his counter and came out. What he was, was truly interesting though. He looked normal from waist up, but waist down, he was human no more. From waist down, the bank teller had the body of a horse. He was a centaur.

"I didn't know that Darius employs centaurs. I thought he was partial to Djinn. Well, looks like everyone is opening up to everyone these days.", Fenrir casually commented.

The centaur asked Lucas to wait as he went away. It seemed that there were certain preparations to be made for this type of identification. Soon after, the centaur came back with a few swabs of cotton along with a syringe in hand.

"Please come forward and put your hand out.", the centaur asked Lucas. Lucas obliged without hesitation. The centaur took the syringe and just struck one of Lucas' veins to take the blood. Lucas winced with pain, but no sound came out from his mouth. Then, the centaur took a swab of Lucas' saliva.

"Please enter your account number here.", the centaur gave Lucas a tablet. Lucas took the tablet and started entering his account number.

"Interesting, what is this contraption?", Fenrir asked Lucas.

"This? This is a tablet. It is one of the new innovations of human kind. Most of it came over the last twenty years, actually. Remember the computer? They managed to squeeze those into hand held devices.", Lucas spoke softly. But, even that could be heard by the centaur, who looked at Lucas weirdly. Lucas just smiled awkwardly and he handed the tablet back to him.

"All right then. Please wait here until the tests are complete. You can have a seat at the waiting room.", the centaur pointed to a room on the side with the sign written quite clearly. Lucas nodded and he headed over to the waiting room. Inside, there were all sorts of people. There was a man who was completely transparent, there was a couple who did not even look like humans. But, the moment he entered the room, his eyes fell on a woman at the end of the room. She was pale white, and her skin seemed like that of a corpse. The moment he saw her, he growled. She also looked at him and got up in an instant.

Lucas immediately shook his head and took a seat at the other end of the room. But, he did not break eye contact with her. He sat down, as did she.

"A Vampire... What are you going to do, Lucas? How about it? Shall we have some fun after we exit this place? For old times sake.", Fenrir suggested.

"Why would I want to kill someone who did nothing to me? Don't worry Fenrir. You will get your fill very soon. It'll all be in wolf blood too, not that dead, useless blood in those sticklers.", he spoke softly. It seemed that the rest of the members of the room did not share the superhuman sense of Hearing, because no one looked at Lucas when he mumbled.

"You are going soft, Lucas.", Fenrir growled.

Lucas shook his head. He just relaxed back after seeing the vampire leave the room. He had his head back, and just closed his eyes for a few brief moments. Soon enough, he was called out by an attendant. The attendant looked just like a normal human being. But, when Lucas passed her, he said softly, "A Banshee? Curious."

He went up to the same counter that he did before.

"Welcome Mr. Wodansbane. Forgive us. We did not know that we were graced by your esteemed presence. Please follow me to your bank vault.", the centaur bent forward.

"Hehe, you took my name, Lucas. What is with your shenanigans? Do you really think that using that surname is worth it? I have two siblings who would get very, very annoyed.", Fenrir commented.

"Oh please. Jormungand is stuck around the world and Hel will never get out of her Hall. Do you really think that any of them would enter Earth just for some guy who used your alternate name? Stop kidding yourself.", Lucas grinned.

"Stop rubbing that fact again and again.", Fenrir snapped.
