GASP!

Harriet jolted awake.

"Ah-!" The sobs exploded again as soon as she realized what had just happened. "Milord!"

Harriet screamed, but her voice was hoarse and cracked.

“No–” Harriet choked on her ragged breaths. Her feet crept down from the palace bedroom bed, and without bothering to look for footwear, she ran out of the room.

Harriet looked left and right, looking all over the place for Liam. But the only ones who responded were the servants who were on guard. "Madam!"

She didn't have time to heed their calls and ran straight to where she'd last seen Liam. She ran limply. She didn't realize her legs were a little stiff and her whole body was scratched after yesterday's incident where she was almost crushed by the marble pavilion roof.

“Milord… Milord?! Where is Young Lord Liam? Where is my husband, did you see him?”

Harriet asked everyone she saw.
