597 Side Story: A World Apart

Today was a big day.

The twins dressed neatly and cutely as they were helped by Ezra. They looked a bit nervous but also a bit excited. Their talk with Ezra yesterday gave them more hope.

"You guys are ready?"

The twins nodded as they put on their booster seat belts.

Ezra started her engine and drove to their destination. Liam had suggested a nice place in the city's center, a coffee shop near the shopping district.

He also said that he would come to meet their mother too.

By the time they arrived, the twins had noticed the long blonde-haired man they saw yesterday. After seeing him for the second time, they realized that he looked a lot like them.

The man sat there, but he stood up when he saw them arrive. He nodded at Ezra and tried to smile at them.

This time, his smile looked warmer than yesterday. He had taken his time to think all night.

"How are you guys?" he greeted.

"I guess all of us feel better today," Ezra said.
