Synopsis

Among the approximately two million middle school students who took the exam, only the top 100 scorers of the entrance examination are offered a scholarship in the most prestigious school in the country, Chen Academy. One of the students who were offered a scholarship was Uriel Delavin, a seemingly narcissistic omega who grew up in the countryside and was showered with endless compliments from those around him. Breathtakingly beautiful and blessed with intellect, everybody in his hometown looks up to him and envies him. The reigning king of the school of the elites, Theodore Greene, is an arrogant alpha who grew up pampered and spoiled by his parents. Devilishly handsome, charismatic, smart, and filthy rich, there was no doubt that he was branded as the man who was at the top of their school. What will happen when these two people meet? With their incompatible personalities, how will their love story unfold? __________ "Where did it all go wrong?" That was the question I had inside my head for so long. Perhaps, I knew the answer all along but just chose to ignore it. You're my biggest mistake. You're my destruction. You're the only person who has ever led me to my downfall. You make me so vulnerable. Seeing how you ignore me as if we're perfect strangers finally made me realize my mistakes and opened my eyes to see the answer to my question. 'Where did it all go wrong?' I can now answer this question after pondering about it for the longest time. It all went wrong from the very first time I met you. It all went wrong from the very first time I laid my eyes on you. It all went wrong from the very first time I spoke to you. It all went wrong because... ... you're you. Because you're Uriel Delavin, my favorite mistake, my most beautiful destruction, and my sweetest downfall. ----- *R18* NOTE: This story contains sexual content and vulgar words that may not be appropriate for some readers. Chapter 1Chapter 1

"Yuri, please accept these flowers! I picked them myself!" the guy in front of me said as he bowed his head while stretching his arms, handing me the bouquet of random flowers in his hands.

I recall seeing these flowers on the way to school. He must have picked them up from there.

"Why?" I asked as I looked at the stems his hands were gripping on tightly. "Th... These are my gift for you. We're going to high school next school year so... I was hoping to see you more by then..." he said, his voice slowly shrinking as he reached the end of his sentence.

The corners of my lips rose up and curved into a smile as I watched his ears turn red. "I'm sorry, I can't accept them," I said. "Besides, I'm not staying here for high school," I continued.

He lifted his head and looked at me with widened eyes. His pupils were trembling as his face was filled with shock, probably unable to believe what I just said.

"Where..." Before he could even continue what he was about to say, I spoke over him to cut him off.

I don't want to speak with him more than necessary.

"Well, then. I'll be leaving. Good luck," I said and turned around, leaving him behind even though he kept calling my name. I can hear his friends in the background, some were consoling him and some were laughing at him for getting rejected.

The smile I had on my face vanished and turned into a frown as I sighed. I felt chills down my spine as I remembered how he looked when he confessed to me.

Seriously, it's our middle school graduation and his uniform has a lot of stains. I can still see the stain from yesterday's lunch on his shirt. He clearly did not bother washing it, ugh.

He even handed me flowers that can be found on the sidewalk. There's no way I'm accepting those, fully knowing how dogs pee on them almost every day.

Just thinking about holding them with my hands makes my skin crawl.

Besides, he's a bully. That's more the reason why I won't ever accept flowers from him. In our school, accepting gifts from someone who's interested in you basically means accepting them as your lover.

There's no way in hell I'll ever date someone like him.

He shouldn't feel too down about it, though. After all, I rejected more than half of the school population today. He's just a part of them.

It's natural for that to happen. After all, I'm the main character.

I looked at the time on my phone and realized that it's almost lunchtime. I have to go home right away to prepare lunch for my granny.

Brisk walking home, I used the certificates I received to cover my head from the heat. It gets pretty hot in here when it's around this time, so I really wanted to hurry home.

I stopped in front of a house with a short wooden gate that's about 3 feet tall. There were bushes on the sides and you can see from the outside that the house that's also made of wood was only about five steps away from the gate.

I pushed the gate open and went inside. I removed my shoes before entering and opened the door, carrying the pair of worn-out shoes in my left hand and the certificates in my right hand.

"Granny, I'm home!" I said as I stepped inside. "Yuri, pumpkin!" she laughed as she came out of her room.

"Granny," I said while smiling as I wrapped my hands around her. "How was it today? I'm sure you did very well," she said as she hugged me tightly.

Hmm... Her scent. I'll be missing my granny when I leave.

"Of course! After all, I took after my beautiful and intelligent granny," I said and giggled. We broke free from the hug and she looked at the certificates I have in my hand.

"Are these all of your certificates?" she said with an amazed look on her face as she smiled. "I'm so proud of you, pumpkin," she said as she rubbed my head while smiling proudly.

She looked at the certificates once again with squinting eyes, unable to see clearly because she wasn't wearing her reading glasses.

"I'm sorry granny couldn't go with you today, hmm?" she said as she looked at me with an apologetic look on her face. "It's okay, granny. You weren't feeling very well today," I smiled.

"I'll cook something for you, so you can rest in your room for now," I said as I held her arms and guided her back to her room.

I made her sit on the bed my uncle built for her and turned the fan on so it won't be too hot in her room.

"Pumpkin..." she called my name as I took the certificates from her hands and put them on top of the small cabinet next to her bed. "Hmm?" I looked at her.

"Are you really leaving?" she asked with sad eyes. I know my granny would miss me if I leave, but it's also a bit hard on my part to miss out on such a great opportunity. It's not every day that you receive a scholarship from the most prestigious school in the country, maybe even in the entire continent.

Aside from the fact that it's such a great school, all my expenses will be paid for by the school. I won't pay a penny for staying in the school's dorm, my meals are free, and I'll even receive an allowance every month as part of the scholarship.

"I'm afraid so." I gave her a little smile. "That's great... I'm sure you'll do well there, too," she smiled at me, this time a genuinely happy one.

My heart throbbed as I looked at the gentle look my granny had on her wrinkly face. I knelt in front of her and held her hands. "Of course, granny. I'm your grandson. I'm the best in middle school, so I don't see why I won't be in high school," I smiled.

I'll rise to the top in Chen Academy. After all...

I'm the main character.

Song of the Gardener of Souls [BL]

With his magic and his voice, Rowan can absorb death and transform it, but only in ways the Order deems acceptable to maintain the stability of the reality it claims to protect Order must subdue Disorder. Reality must triumph over illusion. He is tainted and always will be. Rowan has never questioned those lessons, but that changes the night he harvests a crimson soul that is more than human and chooses to keep it a secret. As the fabric of the Order begins to unwind and a new kind of Disorder takes hold, Rowan will need to choose again, stand with the Order that held him down, or forge a new path with Wren at his side. He may be the only one who can restore balance to the worlds, but only if he can find balance within himself first. ************************************* Updates 3-4 times per week. Note: This story focuses on relationships. I promise an epic romance, lots of swoon-worthy moments, and a healthy amount of fluff. When it does get steamy…you might get burned. Fair warning for explicit content. I don’t shy away from my spice. There are lots of side characters and couples to fall in love with, in addition to the main couple. If you love the idea of found family, you will be happy. This book is set in a non-heteronormative world, so you will see various gender identities/expressions and types of love. ************************************* Excerpt (if you want the full steamy version, you will have to read the book!): Still reeling from the new magic that coursed under his skin and unsure of how to react to the desire that threatened to take control of him, Rowan froze. Wren's hot breath against his mouth sent a jolt of pleasure through his body, and he choked back a groan. A different kind of panic flared in Rowan's chest, burning him as if he were the one on fire. This was what he wanted, what he'd thought about every night since Wren left. But wanting more was one thing. Acting on it was another. He'd spent so much of his life hiding, he didn't know how to do anything else. One corner of Wren's mouth twitched as Rowan pulled away. When he attempted to free himself from Wren's grasp, Wren just hauled him closer. Rowan liked that he didn't have to think about what to do next. His bare chest thudded against Wren's torso, and the heat from Wren's body merged with Rowan's skin, melting him from the inside out. "What did you just do to me?" Wren's deep voice vibrated against Rowan's chest. "The Disorder of your illusion was holding you captive. I…I absorbed it." "Oh? Where did you learn to do that? Have I been gone that long?" Wren's grip loosened slightly on Rowan's wrists as if he was satisfied now that Rowan was practically sitting on top him. Rowan stared at Wren's lips. He opened his mouth to protest, but immediately closed it again. "I know you aren't going to say that I shouldn't touch you." Wren's free hand splayed over the small of Rowan's back. "Not when you started it." Rowan's breath hitched. "No. I'm not going to say that anymore. Not to you." "I thought you were afraid to be touched." Wren's fingers traced a circle over the curve of Rowan's spine as if testing for a reaction. "I know that I'm not afraid of you." Rowan waited for the panic to set in, but all he felt was desire. "With you, I want…" "You want what?" "I want more." Triumph flared in Wren's gaze before he narrowed his eyes. "Really? Then why are you still trying to get away from me?"

Red Blossom System (BL)

Completed. “Flowers grow back, even after they are stepped on, and so will I.”  For over a millennium, Cillian had shouldered the role of a guardian, or as he would jest, a glorified gardener. In his recollection, he'd emerged in an endless expanse known as Blossom Central, his memory a mere fragment with only his name. He was bound to the Red Blossom system Bloom, where an annoying flying entity named Bliss, the personification of Bloom, materialized as his assistant. Cillian's duty centered on nurturing the Red Blossom trees and safeguarding the cherries from falling. Each Red Blossom tree represented a distinct world, relying on his care to prosper. One day, Bliss mustered the courage to disrupt Cillian's nap despite knowing it could be risky. But he had a compelling reason – numerous Red Blossom trees had lost their cherries, a situation that had never occurred before. The fallen cherries meant that the worlds connected to those trees were in danger of collapsing. It was all because a mortal's destiny had been altered. To prevent the impending calamity, they needed to restore that mortal's fate to its rightful course. --------------------------- Cillian, desperation etched across his face, pushed the man atop him, pleading, "Please, enough, I can't take it anymore." The man swiftly reclaimed his position, his lips trailing along Cillian's Adam's apple. He whispered sensually, "We're just getting started; I'm not finished playing with you." Internally, Cillian urgently reached out to Bliss: *Bliss, get your ass over here!* *Yes, Master?* *Who the hell is this man, and why does he persistently follow me from world to world?* Bliss responded with feigned innocence, *I truly have no idea, Master.* Cillian issued a dire threat, *Tell me what you're keeping from me.* Before Bliss could utter a word, the man's lips descended upon his own with a hunger. Their tongues intertwined, and he emphasized dominantly, "I've told you, darling, don't address me as anything other than Gege." Cillian was on the verge of tears. Stuck in Blossom Central, he'd always harbored disdain for his circumstances, but now he was relentlessly pursued by this shameless, tofu-eating stranger who insisted on being called Gege. Like a fool, he thought he would get to play with Alterers, but he's the one getting played with over and over again...
