6 Gaze from the window

Sawyer didn't wait for anyone.

His eyes glistened, turning from the usual blue to a golden yellow. He needed to get to the hospital before anything happened.

He moved at a speed so fast that his surroundings blurred. He couldn't stop thinking about Evelynn.

Meanwhile, Percy assembled some warriors, and together with the Beta, they started heading to the hospital.

"I've seen the chains they left," Liam said. "The chains were completely destroyed. I don't understand how mere humans could break free from those chains like that. Such incredible strength would've been possible if they were vampires or wolves. But they're humans."

As they continued moving with speed, Percy answered, "That's because they're none of the mentioned."

"What?"

"I found out something bizarre during my interrogation. They're not humans, Beta."

Liam looked at Percy with shock painted all over his face.

"What are they, then?"
