7 7- Awakened Academy
A week has passed since the Origin Guild has been established, Des continued his days like normal, train his sister, check up the twins, train himself.
Ellia has improved greatly too, her balance, stamina, and physique had improved, she could also now last about an hour doing the stance that Des had taught her.
Today will be a little different, Des and Ellia were on their way to the dojo while carrying heavy metal suitcase.
"Brother, are you really fine with this?" Ellia asked.
"Why not?" Des replied.
"But your injuries" Ellia was concerned.
"you worry too much, I maybe injured but I'm not weak" Des said confidently.
Ellia wanted say something but didnt say it anymore, she could only try her best to avoid hurting her brother.
Today, they will be doing a light spar, the heavy metal suitcase they were carrying were sparring armor that was made by the twins.
Even though they were focused with the Camera, they will still do some side work to help the guild in some matters, this also helped them in the new ideas they got from studying the camera.
As they arrived in the dojo, they both opened the suitcase and inside was 20 pieces of necklace that has encased a blue crystal.
This was called the sparring armor necklace, its use was the enveloped the wearer a barrier that will be destroyed if got hit many times and its energy has been depleted.
It was the most common used for sparring purposes, the rules of the sparring was very simple, using quirks is allowed.
The weapons should be sparring weapons, stop after the barrier has been destroyed, and the loser is the one who got his barrier destroyed.
Des and Ellia wore their sparring armors and a golden case enveloped their body, both stood in the middle of the dojo both carrying a sparring katana.
Des purpose was to train Ellia in the way of Katana, the only thing she knew right now was the stance and breathing.
Teaching her the attack patterns and movement is also not a good way of teaching, seeing it herself is the best way to teach someone.
Des then looked at his system and turned off his buffs, and just like that, Des once again felt his body getting weak.
But he didnt mind, he will also use this spar to train his self.
"Prepare" Des said.
"Yes" Ellia repli d and they both took their position in the middle.
"Breath" Des said, Ellia nodded and used the breathing technique taught to her by Des.
"Good, lets start" Des said as he got ready, he didnt do the stance since he wont be attacking.
Ellia stepped forward, bent her body lightly and put her hand on the hilt of the sword, she then activated her quirk.
Sparks of lightning covered arm, then to her body and lastly her whole body.

*Swoosh!
Her body moved liked the lightning her tracks left trails of lightning, she moved at a very fast speed and immediately appeared behind Des.
She then swung her Katana at a very fast speed but she did not dare to use her full power fearing of hurting Des.
She was sure that with her attack, Des wont be able to react.
'With this, brother wont have to force to fight anymore!' she said as she swung her katana at a lightning speed.
*Dang!
As her katana was about to reach Des, a katana collided with her katana creating a spark and she was caught off guard.
She saw Des who was already facing her with his Katana in front of him, she flew into the air in which she flipped her body to land on the ground.
"What the?" She was shocked, she was beyond shocked, no one could ever react to her speed even when she was at the awakened academy.
She the looked up to her brother.
"Ellia, dont hold back, if you cant defeat me, I wont give you your 15th birthday gift." Des reminded her with a smile.
"No you dont!" She roared and immediately charged towards Des, she didnt care about Des well being anymore, the gift is much more important.
Her birthday will be coming soon and the gift she always waited for was Des gift, he always knew what she wanted, this also made her spoiled.
She stomped on the floor and her body was flung like a rocket, she immediately appeared in Des's blind spot and attacked without hesitation but once again.
*Dang!
A katana blocked her attack, sparks flew up.
But she was not the one to give up easily, she immediately backed away and circled around Des, attacking whenever she felt her attack would be successful but the Katana on Des's hands seemed to be alive and will do anything to protect its wielder.
"I'm going to attack" she suddenly heard Des spoke, she immediately focused to Des and in the next moment a Katana appeared in front of her.
*Dang!
Due to her reaction speed, she was able to block the attack but she was very surprised, she lost her balance and fell to the floor.
*Thud!
Ellia looked dumbfounded as she fell on the floor, she could still not process what just happened.
Des suddenly appeared in front of him, which is very impossible since they were 10 feet apart, also that instantaneous movement.
She knows her brothers quirk which is related to his eye, 'He couldn't have a second awakening right?' she thought, it was only the plausible theory for his speed just now.
"Brother, wha- what was that? did you get another quirk?" She looked at Des in front of her and could not help but ask.
"No, its not a quirk" Des replied with a smile as he helped his sister to stand up.
"Then what is it? other than a quirk, I cant think of anything else" Ellia asked as she stood up.
"My little sister, not everything is about quirk, there is also something called combat techniques and martial arts" Tanaka said.
"Combat techniques and Martial Arts? arent those only on novels and movies?" Ellia asked.
"My sister, broaden your horizons, not because you dont know of something doesnt mean it doesnt exist, Arcadia Universe is vast, and we dont know everything about it, now lets continue training, focus this time" Des said.
What he said was true, combat techniques and martial arts do exist but not in this world, Des learned all of these moves from using the Character Simulator card given by the system.
All of them have different moves, just like the one Des used earlier, it was called Shukuchi.
The word shukuchi, is a Japanese-language term for various mythical techniques of rapid movement. The characters in the word can be rendered literally as "shrinking the earth", referring to the way the technique reduces the spatial distance between opponents similar with warp drive.
Des still had some memories about japanese so he didnt find it strange, Shukuchi is a great skill to surprise attack, there are also other moves but that is for another time.
"Okay" Ellia nodded, they once again took their position and continued their sparring.
-Few hours later-
"Hateful! I didnt even got to hit him once! You didnt go easy on me!" Ellia said as she angrily stared at Des.
"Why are making it look like its my fault?" Des sighed.
"I hate you! I hate you! waaaaa! I wont get my gift anymore, uwaaa!" Ellia started crying.
"Stop crying Ellia, you are already 15!" Des reprimanded her.
"I dont care! I want my gift!" she said.
Des sighed, this is his sister, its good that she took training seriously but when it comes to other things, she will start acting childish again.
It was much worse when she was with him or his father because they spoiled her too much.
"Ellia, if you dont stop crying I wont really give you your gift on your birthday" Des said.
"Mmmmm" Ellia stopped crying but her eyes were still full of tears, she was still trying to hold her crying.
"Good, now get the sparring necklace back to your senior sisters, I have to go somewhere today" Des said.
"Hmph!" Ellia didnt say anything but she was still angry but she did as she was told and brought the sparring necklace to the workshop.
As Ellia left, Des also changed his clothes and wore a new one, he will go to the academy today to check future members of his guild.
After changing his clothes, Des left the Sin mountain and hailed a cab below, it was not that hard to get one since, Sin City was very close and many taxi goes there.
Anyway, Awakened Academy of the Earth Nation is also located at the most prosperous city in the earth nation, the Diamond City.
It took 3 hours of travel to reach the Diamond City from Sin Mountain, Diamond City was the richest city in the Earth Nation because the Awakened Academy was located there.
After 3 hours of travel, Des finally arrived at the Awakened Academy, as he got out of the taxi, what greeted him was a huge tall gate.
"Cool" he thought, he then made his way inside, there is no problem for him to enter inside even if he was not a student since hid mother works here.
A teacher in the Awakened Academy are ones to be respected, that is something that everyone knew and will always knew.
And yet...
"Stop, who are you, you are not a student of the Awakened Academy" A group of students blocked his path.
"Uhm, I'm here for an appointment" Des replied.
"Appointment, may we see your I.D," a student asked.
"Eh, I didnt bring my I.D" Des replied awkwardly.
The students looked at each other then one guy at the end smirked.
"John, I think this guy is messing with us, we should just beat him up and throw him out, no one is allowed to make trouble in the Academy" he said with a smile, he then stepped forward and faced Des.
Des immediately knew what this guy is doing, there are some females in their group and he wanted to show off.
"Leave now or get beaten up" the guy spoke.
"Nash, dont get overboard" John said.
"Shut up John, we need to put this kind of people to their places" Nash said.
"I really have an appointment" Des said with a smile.
"Ho? then die!" Nash roared as he sent a punch towards Des.
*Pak!
But Des easily slapped it away, Des then looked at Nash, "Kid, dont get too arrogant just because you have quirk" Des said.
Nash looked at his hand that has been swatted away, he felt embarrassed since his female classmates were watching.
"You damn!" Nash gritted his teeth then a figure of wolf appeared behind him, Nash nails and fangs suddenly grew sharper and his strength has also increased.
"Nash! using quirks in the academy is forbidden without permission!" John tried to stop him.
"Shut up!" Nash yelled at John then looked at Des.
"Lets see who is arrogant now" he said as he raised his claws and swung it towards Des.
Des sighed, he stepped forward and avoided the claws then grabbed Nash's wrist then kicked his legs.
*Bam!
Nash didnt know what happened, the next thing he knew was the world suddenly spinning then his body was slammed into the ground.
Des pinned Nash down.
"Dont move kid, lets wait for the teachers, hey you call a teacher here" Des said as looked at one of the students.
The student nodded and immediately ran towards the building.
"Let go of me! you mother f-"
*Bam!
Nash tried to struggle but he couldnt move at all, and when he tried to curse, Des smacked his mouth.
"Watch your language kid" Des reprimanded.
Nash then glared at his fellow school mates but none of them dared to move.
Nash could only curse and turn off his quirk.
A little while later, a teacher arrived and looked at the scene, when he saw Des pinning Nash down, he immediately understood what happen, its not that rare in the Awakened Academy.
"Oh, its you Des, sorry for the students troubling you" the teacher said.
"Its okay teacher, its quite normal, awakened students these days think they will be invincible just because they have powerful quirks, its not the first time I met one, also is mother there?" Des asked.
"Ah yes, Mrs. Sullivan is in her office, you can go there now" The teacher said.
When the students heard the name Sullivan, they immediately shuddered, even Nash who was very angry earlier felt his heart drop.
No one dared to make a noise when Des and the teacher were talking to each other, Des then let go of Nash who stopped resisting.
"Dont get too arrogant kid, know your enemies and yourself first" Des gave an advice and finally went inside the Academy building.
As Des left, the teacher looked at the frozen students, "You messed up big this time, go to the guidance office and wait for your punishment" The teacher said to Nash.
Nash felt fear but he still stood up and went to the guidance office, he wont be able to escape, no he couldnt escape from his pending doom.
The teacher then turned towards the other students, "You guys didnt do anything right?" the teacher asked.
"N-no sir, we just asked for his identification, nothing else" John replied.
"That is good then, but still go to the guidance and tell them what happened, go now" The teacher said.
"Y-yes!" The students immediately went to the guidance office.
Mrs. Sullivan, that is a name that will put many students in fear, even if they are graduates or not.
She is known as the devil queen of the Academy, even the Academy Master didnt dare to oppose her, she was the nightmare of the Academy and also the judge.
Des knew of these stories and he could not reject anything about that, even though she was a lovely lady at home, she was very strict.
It was one of the reasons that even when Ellia is spoiled, she still acts maturely, it was their mother who trained them.
Des arrived at the office of his mother, he knocked three times then opened the door.
"Mom, I'm here" Des said.
Mrs. Sullivan who was sitting on her chair turned her head and looked at Des.
"Good, lets go then" She said then stood up.
"Yes" Des nodded and followed after her.
