12 12- Ranks and Potential

As the delivery service left the guild, Des and the others now stood in front of the Rank Appraising Machine or RAM for short.

The twins were reading the manual and Ellia was getting ready, she was very excited to know her rank.

"I cant defeat brother but I'm happy even with just D- Rank" Ellia commented.

"Ellia, what rank is your quirk?" Sarah asked.

"Its C- Rank" Ellia replied.

"Hmm, according to the manual, if you are a C- Rank, your rank is about C or D, then there is also we will also measure your Mana" Almirah said.

"Oh, you guys done reading?" Des asked.

"Yes, we can start anytime now" Sarah said.

"Okay, go first Ellia, then next is Almirah then last is you Sarah" Des said.

"Okay, I will go now!" Ellia said then entered the capsule cabin.

When she entered inside, she was given a breathing mask, she wore it and gave the go sign to Sarah.

Sarah nodded and pressed a button.

*Bzzz!

The Sound of the RAM starting resounded on their ears, it doesn't sound like a machine but just a buzz on their ears.

Ellia who was inside the capsule felt something inside the cabin, she looked down and saw some kind of sticky fluid coming out and slowly filling up the cabin.

She felt comfortable from the sticky fluid and she closed her eyes.

Once the whole cabin was filled with this sticky fluid, Sarah pressed another button.

They then looked inside the cabin, they saw a claw machine moved inside, it then grabbed the mask away from Ellia but Ellia showed no reaction, it only looked like she was in deep sleep, she was also calmly breathing despite being inside of the sticky fluids.

Then Des then turned his head towards the monitor, there Des could see the vitals of Ellia, from her heart beat to blood pressure.

"Start" Des said.

Sarah nodded and pressed another button, then a machine moved inside the cabin, it was a mechanical hand carrying a syringe with blue glowing liquid in it.

It slowly moved towards Ellia and stopped at her arm, then it slowly lodged the syringe to her arm, when done it slowly injected the blue glowing liquid to Ellia.

Once it injected everything, the machine then took the syringe and went away.

Des and the others waited for a few seconds before there was a sudden movement inside the cabin.

Even though Ellia seemed asleep, she could feel everything around her, so she felt that something was injected in her.

Slowly she felt her body heating up, she could not move but Des and the others could see faint waves of blue aura exuding from her body.

They then stared at the monitor in front of them, everything was very normal but there was now a new column which is the Mana and Rank in which are calculating.

Ellia's body continued exuding the waves of blue aura from her body, it continued to expand and move powerful, it even started blowing away the sticky liquids but it still continued to envelop her body.

*Beep!

The machine beeped then they saw a number appeared on her mana, it was D- Rank, as for the rank it was still calculating.

The calculations lasted for a few more minutes until something exploded out from Ellia's body which shook the machine.

*Beep! *Beep! *Beep!

The machine started making noise and they saw that the rank finally came out.

"A B- Rank!" Sarah exclaimed in shock.

Almirah was also shocked, Des was calm but he was happy that Ellia is a B- Ranker, the very first B- Rank in the whole Blue Planet!

Des smiled then turned his head towards the cabin where Ellia finally came out, the sticky liquid inside has been drained by the machine but Ellia was a little sticky.

Ellia immediately ran beside them and when she saw the rank she was surprised, so surprised that she froze in her position.

She just could not believe what she was seeing, a B- Rank! a rank that has never appeared in the blue planet, a peak existence that everyone is trying to reach.

*Pat!

She felt a pat on her head which woke her up from her shock.

"Dont get your rank up to your head, this is just the start, you still cant beat me" Des said with a smile.

'Yes, brother is right, what is a high rank without proper strength she wont deserve this rank' She took a deep breath and calmed herself down "I will beat you soon" She proclaimed.

"Haha, that is good, now next, Almirah!" Des called out.

"Yes!" Almirah nodded and entered inside the cabin.

It took a little longer for Almirah to get her rank but the rank came out also surprised everyone, including Des, Almirah was also a B- Rank!

Two B- Ranks! and both are in the same guild, Des was surprised, she is a class non combat type, she doesnt have power nor a huge mana pool.

'Is this connected to their potential?' Des thought, after all, it was the most possible outcome he could think of.

Potential meant how high they will reach in the future, as long as they continued to grow, they will surely grow higher in the future.

After Almirah, Sarah was the next one to and she was also a B- Rank! The twins have the same potential so Des expected this outcome.

"Des!" Sarah suddenly called out.

"What is it?" Des asked.

"We are all done, the only who havent been ranked yet is the Guild Master, could you call him?" Sarah said.

"No, Guild Master is away right now, and I doubt the machine could assess his rank" Des said.

"That is true, we weren't able to defeat him after all, once we build a new one that has a higher performance we can assess his rank" Sarah said after some thought.

"Well, lets just wait for that, anyway, have you sent the files to the UGA?" Des asked, UGA means Universal Guild Association, it was a universal government that over looks every guilds in the whole universe.

"Yes, everyone is registered" Sarah nodded.

"Good, we will now start testing the camera, everyone get ready" Des announced.
