1 1- Origin Guild

The sun was at its peak today, almost frying the people walking on the streets, a young man carrying a heavy bag could be seen walking on the streets alone.

His name is Destruction, Des for Short, an 18 year old young man, he is tall and lean and has spiky black hair, his eyes are a lavender color and were described to "look like the abyss itself", he doesn't why his parents named him like this but since it sounded cool he forgave them.

And he also had a secret, he is a reincarnator or transmigrator, whatever, who cares! it's the same, He came from a different world, that's the idea.

Anyways, Des is now in a parallel world, according to the history he had read, it was about 200 years ago, a phenomenon they call Amalgamate happened.

What happened was 32 different universes merged together forming a colossal multiverse which now they call Arcadia, a universe where all kinds of intelligent beings live.

Monsters, Demons, Angels, Gods, almost all fantasy beings that could be found in a fantasy book appeared in this universe!

Well... In Des's 18 years of living on this planet called Blue Planet, he had never seen a big boob elf, Onee-san, or a sexy alluring succubus that would suck you out.

This made Des doubt this parallel universe was a lie but he knew they existed, for how? maybe later.

Des fastened his pace and 3 hours later, he arrived after a 2 story building which looked like most black companies in his past life.

This is the result of years of blood and sweat of Des relentless working.

A ring resounded on Des's ears, then a floating blue panel appeared in front of him.

Des sighed in relief as he read the floating panel in front of him, yes, like many characters that were transmigrated, Des received a system.

Rankers are Humans who possess mysterious magical abilities. Even the weakest, E-Rank Rankers, have slightly abnormal strength and regeneration compared to normal people. Usually Ranker will belong to a Ranker Guild.

Yes, in this parallel world, humans are one of the weakest races, they didn't just receive abilities when Amalgamate happened, it could be said that only about 20 to 30 percent of the humans are Rankers.

Des was an D-Rank Ranker, to become a ranker, humans must first manifest a quirk which was their ability, Des awakened a quirk and he called it, Eye of Des given by the Gods who reincarnated him in Arcadia Universe which is not op at all!

Not cool? Come on, long titles are popular these days.

Jokes aside, it's called Eyes of Arcadia, Des could see the status, and skills of the one he uses his quirk to, it can't slow down time or copy moves, nor like Sharingan that gives him extraordinary power.

Though there is one thing that Des didn't tell anyone, he could see the potential and  their destined occupation, it was a perfect quirk for recruitment.

Moving on, Des worked as a ranker for 3 years before retiring because of an injury he received from an expedition of a 2-Star dungeon that his previous guild started.

Which turned into a disaster, it was actually a 6-Star dungeon which led to the death of many Rankers, Des thought at that time, he would be like a certain character who got buffed on his death's door.

In which Des got grievously wounded and almost died, if it wasn't for an A-Rank Healer who helped him, he should have died.

Des did not die but it left him a deep injury and he also didn't get buffed, even his system did not help him, Des sighed as he remembered those days, he was only 14 years old at that time.

His previous guild got banned because the guildmaster ran away when the disaster happened with everything the guild had, he was caught 2 years later by the Guild Association which is good.

After that, Des had no choice but to continue working, now Des was a transmigrator/reincarnator, he should use his otherworld knowledge to earn some money right?

The answer is no, the system put a strict restriction on him making Des unable to remember much about his past life, he can't even remember his name from his past life and so, there is your explanation.

The system also wont give him a hand and didn't budge no matter how Des prayed or threatened, in the end, Des resigned to his fate and worked diligently.

Earning money was not easy, he even got injured one time and this made his performance detoriate, thankfully, the system noticed his handsomeness and gave him a daily mission that was enough for him to live properly.

Seriously, he just needed to do the Saitama training, and he will earn about 500 Unity Coins, this also kept him healthy, but Des still did some side jobs to fasten up saving money.

But even though with all that training, Des still needed to be careful on what he do, because of his injury.

Now back to the present, Des entered the building which was empty inside, at first he didn't know the reason why the system gave him those missions but seeing the rewards now, he was sure.

The 2 story building was unpainted and it has no decorations nor even a chair or a table, it has nothing, even the windows and doors are not installed.

Anyways, Des didn't mind, he flicked his hand and a card appeared on his hand, it was glowing in purple color, it was the Guild Theme Card.

Des was not a stranger in using the cards, since when the system first appeared it gave him a quirk awakening card which awakened his quirk.

Des raised the card and tore the paper in half.

There are fantasy themes, chinese themes, tavern themes and many more.

And there is more, each themes had different kind of buffs and additional effects, for example, Fantasy theme, it gives 100% mana regeneration, +20% quirk amplification for 2 hours, +10% mental boost, and then for the additional effects: Removes tardiness after 2 hour rest, removes debuffs, Additional 100% stamina regeneration, and +30% Stamina buff for 7 hours.

There are many more and each theme gives every different buff and additional effects, Des observed each theme carefully, looking for the best of the best, and after 2 hours of struggle he decided to go with the Entertainment theme.

Des was surprised as he saw the Additional Hidden Buff, he never expected that there would be one.

"Hays! I was too rash" Des slapped himself on the forehead, he wanted to change to another one but he couldn't, he could only helplessly look around the building as stream of numbers enveloped it and a few moments later 

The whole empty building had changed, the interior was now very beautiful, there was an office, a gym, a dojo, research room, and many more.

Still, the whole place was empty since Des was the only one in this place.

Des then went outside and checked what changed, in front of the building was a fountain, Des also saw an arena at the open plot, it was not big but it could accommodate about 500 people.

Des then looked at the main building, it was still 2 story tall, but the style has changed, it was now covered with windows, just like how office buildings look like.

Des nodded as he looked around, there was nothing to be surprised around, he knew that if someone had a system, unscientific things were bound to happen and Des was not surprised anymore.

"What? you want me to be surprised then do a backflip?" Des broke the fourth wall, it was a part of his quirk, deadpool also had this power.

Anyways, Des flicked his wrist once again and a card appeared on his hand, he didn't think twice and immediately ripped it off.

Yes, it was the guild certificate that Des had used.

"What are my goals?" Des asked himself, he did choose this path because the system told him to, well, practically the system told him but there is a catch here.

He didn't treat the system as his cheat, but his alter ego, something or someone that would be with him from now on.

Everyone, not just human beings but everyone, every being always makes a hard choice in life, and the most hardest one, is what to do in the future.

Many wanted to follow their dreams, some just want success in life, and some just doesn't give a F*ck about life, there are also some like I didn't choose this life and this life chose me.

Well, that is fine, but one thing is common to everything, they don't know the future and are just going with the flow.

But for Des, he had the system, it gives him goals, motivation, path, and the direction of his future.

It's a good thing but Des doesn't rely on the system, if he follows everything the system asks, he will be nothing more than a puppet, a machine, and so he also needs his own goal, his own path.

"Let's put the bar to the highest then, To be on the top, the strongest individual, the strongest guild in the whole Arcadia Universe" Des opened his eyes, "This is where all it starts" He added then turned to the floating panel in front of him.

Des then noticed a gate appeared at the entrance, he went outside and saw the gate was 5 meters tall, then on top of it was a metal plate engraved with the words 'Origin Guild'.

Well, it does sound arrogant but Des doesn't care, just like he said earlier, 'this is where all it starts' Des then took out his phone and dialed a number.

*Ring! Ring!

*Kacha!

"Hello? Big Brother, why did you call?" A female voice came from the other side.

"Are you free?" Des asked.

"Yes, why?" She asked.

"Come to the land Father gave me, you where it is right?" Des asked.

"Yeah, I know" She replied.

"Come here then, I will be waiting" Des said, then hung up the call, he then dialed another number and called another one.
