Starting Game - [ Chapter - 2 ]

Hyun Ki greeted his parents when they arrived and as he opened the door for them his mother said, "My son! I hope you have a great time playing these games." she said as she tried to hug Hyun Ki.

But he just stepped aside and dodged it then Hyun Ki went to his dad and asked, "Can I have the game now?", his dad laughed and said, "Sure but don't miss out on your studies.", then he said, "Yeah, don't worry.".

He took the game then went to his room and took out the huge VR pod that his parents bought for a him a long time ago and he cleaned it for a bit until he remembered he answered an IQ test.

So then Hyun Ki rushed to the computer but then found his mother on the computer as she closed the tab, he was a bit disappointed that he didn't get to see the score but then he asked, "Mom, did you see anything?".

His mother was honestly confused at the question since she was too busy thinking about his son willingly playing a video game thta she closed all the tabs so that she could tell all of her friends about it.

So she said, "Hm? No, I didn't see anything dear, why?", Hyun Ki looked at his mother for a while to check for any signs of her lying and she wasn't so he then said, "Nothing, I must be mistaken" then he left the room.

He felt a lot of relief that his mother didn't see anything about his IQ since he definitely knew it was above average and she might just smother him if his mother finds out that her son is a genius.

Then he went back to the VR pod and put the game inside of the pod then went inside of it and he looked around inside and he felt it definitely has been a while since he played a VR game and he had to do it without Ji-Ho, the one who suggested it.

So then he started the game and the loding screen started and then it showed a little dragon saying, "Welcome to World's Reality!", then he was suddenly teleported to a familiar place.

He was in Seoul, everything looked so real and was so detailed since Hyun Ki was born with a near to perfect memory, he was able to remember all the details of the place and they all matched up inside the game.

So then Hyun Ki kept looking around but then someone pushed him saying, "Move along! I want to awaken already!", he was pushed a bit but then he looked to where they were all going to and there was a person with a crystal ball there.

Then Hyun Ki went to the person and when he went closer it was actually a girl and then he went up to her and asked, "Hey, I'm new to this game, what do I do?", she then said, "This is the place where you awaken your talent and ability.".

Hyun Ki was actually a bit excited to awaken his talent and ability since this game was so realistic and then he went up to the crystal ball then it started glowing and then a system panel showed up.

It showed all the information that Hyun Ki needed to start the game and now all he needed to give his character a name and so Hyun Ki started thinking a fitting name for his character.

And Hyun Ki was able to think of a good name for his character and he checked to see if the name he thought of was taken and tried to use the name, "Hermes" which comes from the God of Alchemy.

Then when he clicked to confirm his name a huge beam of light shined on him and now he had a profile and everything and so Hyun Ki went to his profile to check his talent and ability properly and to see what they do.

When checking his talent and ability, he saw that he had a legendary (Growth) talent called "Great Mind" which allows the player to easily learn skills and the player's intelligence will be multiplied by two.

Then he checked his ability and it was ranked as Rare (Growth) called "Twin's Creation" and it allows the player to create one clone of himself that will hold his information kept by the AI and will add in a NPC to control the clone.

So his ability was able to create an almost perfect clone of himself in real life and so Hyun Ki was really happy of this since the abilities actually suited him greatly and so he excitedly looked around the place.

He walked around the place and it was really an exact replica of South Korea, the buildings were all in detail as well and he walked around looking for something to do and then he tried asking a few people for what to do.

Some of them ignored him but there was one who answered him it was a boy and he said, "Oh your new here? Me too but not as new as you, you can do whatever you want, you can try and build an empire or sign up at the awakened association over there.".

He said as he pointed to the building with a huge blue circle symbol and so Hyun Ki thanked him and headed towards the building and went inside of the of the building then went uo to the counter.

Then Hyun Ki asked one of the receptionist, "Hey, umm, can I sign up to become an official awakener?", the receptionist then asks, "So your a new player, huh?", she then pushes another crystal ball towards him.

She then says, "Drop some of your blood here, there's a needle to your right." and then she continued to do her job and then Hyun Ki picked up the needle a pricked his finger a bit and drop a bit of blood onto the crystal ball.

After he did that the crystal ball starts shining then the receptionist came back and placed a piece of paper on top of it and then waited for a while then put it out and showed it to Hyun Ki and asked, "Is this correct?".

She then shows Hyun Ki a piece of paper that looked almost close to his player profile but a few of his information wasn't there and so he asked, "Are the abilities and talents always hidden?", she just nodded and took the paper away.

And then she went to the back and placed his profile into one of the drawers inside and then came back to him and then gave him his awakener ID and then she said, "Here, you can go use your powers freely now, you can go into dungeons and gates as well.".
