15 Volume 2 Chapter 5 - A Secret Part 1

"I think we should end our friendships here...." Lydia said to both of them.

"What.... why?" Lara asked in confusion.

"both of you guys are having a very high reputation, And I don't want to be the one to let your reputation down.... I hate it when I am the one to make your lives more miserable."

"Ummm Lydia..." Lara called her out.

"What is it?" Lydia asked.

"I did not understand anything that you just said now."

"HUH? WHAT IS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND?? SHOULD I SAY IT TO YOU IN FRENCH??"

"Lydia... you think we both have high reputation?" Almer asked "Me a guy who is a complete sadist, and she is a complete loner... so you think we have a high reputation?" Almer said to her with a little laughter coming out of him.

"But... everyone will..."

"Ignore us? So what? Lydia, you have helped us during our difficult times, so let us help you." Lara said.

"There is no way we are going to ignore you. no way." Almer said.

"This will be a lot cringe but, there is a reason why you called us both your BFF's."

BFF or Best Friends Forever is a thing that small kids use and teenagers are very embarrassed to say that to someone, embarrassed to be called childish. But for some reason after hearing that Lydia started to tear up.

"HUH? WHY ARE YOU CRYING??" Lara asked.

Lydia ran to them and hugged both of them at the same time, and she started crying even more.

"I AM SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE YOU!! I AM HAPPY THAT I MET TO YOU TWO!! I DON'T DESERVE YOU GUYS!!! I DON'T EVEN DESERVE THIS!"

They both hugged her back.

"You do realize you have helped us both before too." Almer said and Lydia got off them. Lydia wiped her tears and all three of them left the MPH after that.

--------------------------------------------------AFTER FEW DAYS------------------------------------------------

"Alright! Another day! Another training! I am missing so many classes!!" Lydia was sitting on her chair eating omelets. Her mom was running from the bedroom straight to the front door, Lydia saw her mother being in a hurry.

"Mom, What about the breakfast?"

"I have no time for that! I am already late!" Emma said and she slammed the door. Lydia got up early to make food for her mom, but she couldn't eat as she had 3 jobs.

Lydia looked around the house and saw how empty it looked. They sold half of the furniture as they were running out of money.

"Maybe I should do a part time job..."

She ate her food quickly and went out of the house as quick as possible. She ran down the streets and went behind the school as it was her daily routine so that she could summon the clone.

Lara was in the school an hour earlier as she was there in the basketball club. She is an average player in it and she even has the height. Lydia was the one who introduced it to her before.

She was going behind the school to get the water bottles, but then she spotted Lydia coming from the back.

"Why is she coming from the back?" Lara thought to herself. She went behind the school and saw Lydia go through the portal. Lara was surprised, Before the portal closed Lara ran into it.

She found herself in the Ajax HQ, before anyone could notice her, she hid behind the tables which had flower pots on top of them.

"Lydia-Chan! You are here!!" Master said as he went to Lydia.

"Chan? Wait, am I in Japan? And isn't that the old man who was saved us from Damien? What business does she have with him?"

"Oh hello master!"

"MASTER??"

"So Lydia-Chan, I have a training Idea. Tell me, how many people are there in this room?"

"Umm us two?"

"Actually there three people in this room"

Lara startled as she heard those words from him, is he a God or something, she was sure that no one noticed her.

"There is?"

"Yep, I want you to sense them"

"Wait, how?"

"Close your eyes, and feel the vibration of the air and the ground, use your legs and your brain."

Lydia closed her eyes for a minute, but she couldn't feel anything. Lara started moving slowly to some other place to hide.

"Forget it, you will take time to do that. Anyway that person is moving now."

Lara startled again after hearing it. HOW DOES HE KNOW??

" Who ever is there, come out. We know you are not supposed to be here."

Lara gave up and popped behind the table.

"L-L-LARA??"

"HUH? You know her?"

"She is my friend..." Lydia said to Master and she turned her head to Lara "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?"

"WHAT AM I DOING HERE?? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?"

"I-" Before Lydia could finish her sentence Master stopped her. He went to his table and started searching something in his drawer.

"You don't need to tell her anything, We can just erase her memory." Master told as he took a golden small sack which was the size of his palm from his drawer.

"What is that?"

"It is a thing that will erase other's memories about the Ajax." Master said and he took the white powder which was inside the bag and threw it on Lara.

"What the heck are you trying to do?" Lara asked as she wiped the powder off her.

"Ummm.... She is not... UMMMMM MASTER?" Lydia eyes winded.

"Oh well then, that means she is supposed to know."

"What do you mean?"

"The powder is used for erasing memories, but if it doesn't work on a particular person then that means that person is supposed to know. Like as if that person is written to be an important person in your destiny." Master replied and Lydia looked at Lara and Lara looked back at her.

"I have no Idea what is going on here... EXPLAIN ME CARLSON!"

"I am the Green Ajax in the Ajax and my duty is to defeat Damien, but as you can see that I can't do that as I am very weak and I have no fighting technique so this old man is training me." Lydia said all those word very quickly that Lara could barely keep up.

"Ummmm Okay....."

"Hey little girl! What is your full name?" Master asked.

"It's Lara William."

"Ok then William-Chan, Why don't you and Lydia-Chan have a one on one fight?"

"Why should I listen to you? You are a complete stranger to me!"

Lydia went to Lara and explained her everything she knew about the Ajax.

"I see... I will do the one on one then."

Both Lydia and Lara stood on the battle ground, they had no weapons or anything, it was more of a hand battle.

"Ready? FIGHT!!"

Lydia charged in first and was going to punch her, but then Lara caught her hand and twisted it and put her down and sat on top of her.

"HAHAHAHHA I AM STILL BETTER THAN YOU!!" Lara laughed at Lydia.

"GET OFF ME!! GET OFF ME!!!" Lara got off Lydia and picked her up. Lydia was breathing hard and Master went up to them.

"So you do have some techniques William-Chan?"

"Yeah, I learned them when I was in hostel for a year."

"I just figured that Lydia-Chan doesn't have the strength, stamina and the technique to fight."

"I KNOW RIGHT!! She never defeated me in arm wrestling!"

"Ha! me too! She never defeated me!!" both of them were laughing about it together and Lydia did not like it one bit.

"Anyway. I have a tale to tell you Lydia-Chan."
