4 Chapter 4 - The Exhibition part 2

"Everyone! The guests and the audiences has arrived! Please be in your places!!" Elijah the Cultural Secretory said that.

The nervousness of the students has filled the atmosphere of class 10 C, Everyone looked at each other like as if all of them were about to get massacred. Some of them were clicking the top of their pens real quick, the Annual School Exhibition was one of the most important events in Welmer's Academy and it's always held during the start of a academic year.

-- One and a half hour later --

The Exhibition was going really well and there wasn't any huge reason for everyone to get so nervous about. The 6th break of the day, there is a 15 minutes break after every 15 minutes and 10 different students gets the chance to use that. Luckily both Lydia and Lara got the break at the same time.

Both of them decided to check out Almer's Exhibition project, while they were walking to his table they saw an old couple, they aren't exactly old, they are a middle aged couple. They were neatly dressed and it seems like they are really rich.

"What do you have here young man, your's doesn't look as fancy as other student's projects, ha ha!" the old man said as he chuckles at Almer.

Almer looked at the old man with a face which shows anger, Lara saw it and ran to him and caught his hair and him bow down.

"I-I-I am so sorry! he is not really good with people." Lydia said as she tries to not make the couple more angry and behind her Almer was struggling to take Lara's hand of his hair.

"WHY CAN'T YOU BE MORE RESPECTFUL TO PEOPLE HUH?!"

"YOU ARE THE ONE WHO IS DISRESPECTING MY HAIR!!!!"

"HHUUHHH??!!?? SAY THAT AGAIN! YOU ARE SO UNWORTHY FOR A SOFT HAIR LIKE THIS"

Lydia stopped both Almer and Lara from fighting and she looked at Almer and said "so almer why don't you show them what you made?"

"fine" Almer said in a non interested way, "anyway, what i have here is a demonsrtation of me writing my novel to show that this is how humans used to write during the olden times.";

"huh?" all 4 of them were surprised.

"Come on! Don't act like you lovely couple know nothing about, I bet you guys have been living for a pretty long time."

"Almer...." Lydia was calling his name as she was trying to process what was going on there.

"Did you just called us old?" The woman asked as she was trying to hold her anger in.

"Nope."

"Yes you did! In an indirect way!"

"It's your choice to take it that way."

"Let's go honey. It's a waste of time to be here." Both of them left while Almer was laughing his ass off.

Lara was filled with anger cause of Almer's disrespecting personality. She looked left and right to find the Cultural Secretary, she spotted the Merlot colored hair, he was the only one who had a Merlot hair colored hair in the whole high school.

"CULTURAL SECRETARY!! WHY DID YOU LET HIM BE A PART OF THIS!??" Lara said as she was pointing at Almer.

"Do you think I remember every project each and every child makes? I don't even know who he is, and I am not in-charge of the projects."

"Then who is?"

The voice came from behind Elijah (cultural secretary).

"Oh, who else could it be? It's the Junior Cultural Secretary!" Lara said with her hands folded.

"HEY IT'S DEPUTY CULTURAL SECRETARY FOR YA!"

"But you act like a junior kid" Lara replied.

"Hey Eli! This grandmother is like one of those small-mouth-big-talk" Logan whispered to Elijah but loud enough for Lara to hear.

"Just because my hair is white doesn't mean I am old!"

"Yes you are!"

"No I am not!"

"Yes you are!"

"MOVE FROM THE WAY! YOU TARDY IDIOTS! YOU ARE NOT LETTING MY CUSTOMERS SEE MY PROJECT!" Almer shouted from his bench and the other four got shivers on their back one. They went out of the class and stood beside the classroom door.

"WHY? JUST WHY? Why did you let his project be a part of this?" Lara asked as she clutched her fists.

"Because i thought it was funny" Logan said.

"Wait a minute, you took the exhibition thing as a joke?" Elijah asked Logan

"Chuck it Eli, chuck it" Logan said as he rested his arms over Elijah.

"FIRST OF ALL DON'T CALL ME THAT! AND SECOND, YOU JUST RUINED OUR LAST EXHIBITION!!"

"Let's just go away!" Logan says as he leaves the group like he was never even there, Elijah apologized to Lydia and Lara for the disturbance even if they were the one who caused the disturbance. Both the girls went back to the class and continued doing their project.

-- 5 hours later --

The last school bell rang and everyone started packing their bags to head back home. That's when Adalee the head girl came into the room and said "All of you did a very good job this year "

"So see you guys on Monday!" It was the head boy Liam, who was walking behind Adalee.

Everyone left the school building and were walking through the school field to reach the back gate of the school. Lydia, Almer and Lara were walking together in group.

Almer said, looking at the sky "I really hope that I would get the first position for the exhibition."

"Seriously..." Lara said as she was looking at the blonde boy.

"Do you even remember what you made?" Lara asked as she pointed at him.

"Wait! don't kill me for that!"

"I am outta here!" Lydia said as she walked more faster than the other two.

"YOU DISRESPECTED AN OLD COUPLE!"

"So you DO admit the fact that they are old!"Almer said nonchalantly.

"THAT'S NOT THE POINT!"

"Nowadays, people forget how to write due to the advanced technologies."

"We still use notebooks in school, and you will only get 2 votes and it's from me and Lydia."
