Chapter 4

(NAMJOON'S POV)

Just as planned, I took Therlyn to where my mom was at so she can take her to Jin-hyung. Yes, my mother knew about this. She knew that my stepfather wouldn't invite us to the wedding. I wasn't surprised though, since I knew he doesn't want me and Therlyn to be here. I walked towards a room, trying to blend myself in with the staff, and hopefully won't get noticed. As I was about to knock the door, someone opened it. It was her. Claudia.

"Namjoon? What are you doing he-", before she could finish, I push her back to the room and locked it right after. "Wait! What the heck is wrong with you?" She asked angrily. I walked towards her and covered her mouth with my hands. "I'm sorry, but I have no time. I just needed to talk to you... before we leave." After she calmed down, I let go of my hands on her lips and told her everything.

"Wait, Therlyn's here? And what do you mean by 'we'?" She asked. "Therlyn and I decided to go to Italy, and settle there. Don't worry, we won't be bothering you and Jin-hyung anymore after this. Therlyn just wants to talk to Jin-hyung, and after that she can move on." I told her. After that she spoke.

"How is she? I know that she's not doing okay Joon. That fact that I'm marrying the guy that she has loved for a really long time. And I kid you not, I feel guilty since I love someone else. But sadly, we can never be together too. Please, Joon, tell me how is she? I wanted to say sorry to her."

I just shake my head while looking down and said, "She was heartbroken. She doesn't blame you though. She thinks you're an amazing person, and thinks that you're perfect for Jin-hyung." She chuckled at Therlyn's compliment, but her smile instantly faded at the fact that Therlyn's heartbroken. "Oh my, I really am sorry Joon. But there's nothing we can do right now. The wedding's gonna start in 2 hours." I held both of her hands and said, "Just let Therlyn talk to hyung. Then after that, we will be leaving. Our flight is tonight, so we just need time to say goodbye."

"Okay, but why are you here by the way Joon?" she suddenly asked. I let go of her hands and took something from the inside of my suit pocket. And I gave her a letter. "Therlyn wanted to give this to you. And she wanted to say that she has to say there. But she said don't open it just yet. She wants you and Jin-hyung to read your letters after the wedding. And after that, you can live a peaceful life."

"But we both that's not true." She said looking at me. "I know, but she trust you in taking care of Jin-hyung. Can you at least do this for her?"

She held my cheeks with one hand and said, "I will. Please take care of her as well, for Jin and I's sake. I know that you mean a lot to her too."

"You have no idea. And yes, I will take care of her." I said.

Not just for their sake. I am all that Therlyn has now...

And I don't want her to lose someone again.
