Alone

The next thing John knew was that he was laying in the sand.  "Ugh, my head," said John "What happen?"  He looked down at himself and realized that his shirt was ripped.  Also, his long pants were turned into shorts, but surprisingly his shoes were still on his feet. He did also have some scraps, bruises, and scratches on his body. Finally, when he looked at his surroundings that he noticed that he was stranded on a deserted island. Where could Lucy and James be thought John.He looked in all direction and all he could see was an ocean in front of him, a forest behind him, and a long sandy beach on the left and right of him. There was no sign of people or any sign of the plane wreck.  Then John started to walk down the coast line to see if there was any wreckage or any other survivors.  A while later he found some metal poking out of the ocean. That is when John decided to see what it was and if there were any supplies on the ocean floor next to the metal like thing poking out of the water. So, he took off his ripped shirt and his shoes and walk towards the metal object. When he was somewhat close, he dove under the water. John had a hard time seeing far but he made out a small ripped up part of a plane. A metal box attached to the side that should have been in the plane. Then he swam up for air, then went down again to go get what was in the metal box.  The metal box was heavy and hard to get.  He had to dive several times before he actually could grab it successfully.  Finally, he grabbed the handle and started to pull it. It was stuck so he put his feet on the metal wall and pushed with his feet it opened and John quickly went up for air. Then he went back down to grab what he found to his astonishment it was a first aid kit and something that look like a hatchet.  So, he swam back to the shore and waited for his stuff to dry off.  After it was semi dry, he put back on his clothes. The sun was getting low, like it is at 5:00 pm. So, he looks inside the first aid kit. To his surprise it was completely dry on the inside. There where band aides, antiseptic and there was a whistle and matches. John wanted to know why there are matches in a first aid kit, but he did not complain. He figured he would need them. He packed up the first aidkit and then grabbed the hatchet and went to the other side of the island near the forest and started to look for some sticks and wood to build a fire near the beach. Then when he made pail of stick and wood. he started to make a small fire as the time past. John saw some berries and went to collect them...
