CHAPTER 5 Indestructible

Ray wakes up in a room enlightened by candles.

He moves his head to see some legs which were kind of weird because he never actually focussed on anyone's legs while actually watching the show.

He stands and sees Freya and Kol staring at him. He looks around and notices he is locked inside of a magic circle.

"Is he going to say something or should we start first?" Kol questions Freya.

"Give him a moment Kol, he might be feeling a little uneasy after the effect of Tunde's blade" Freya replies while observing Ray's behaviour.

He wasn't afraid instead he was amused by the fact that he's locked in a magic circle.

"Why am I locked in this circle?" Ray asks acting little confused.

"My brothers think that you are a potential danger for my family" Freya says.

"Why? I mean I don't have any intentions of killing any of them besides the fact that they are invulnerable" Ray argues.

"Yeah, that doesn't stop them from being paranoid" Kol says with a smirk.

"In fact, we found out that you are also quite indestructible" Freya comments.

"I'm what?" Ray replies to Freya.

"Something... we don't know what you are and till we can find out you have to stay right where you are" Kol informs him.

"I won't" Ray pushes the circle but nothing happens.

"Well, you don't have a choice, do you?" Kol answers back.

"Is he awake?" Elijah's voice comes in his ears.

Ray looks at the door and sees Mikaelsons entering the room.

Klaus and all others were looking at him like he just discovered fire.

"Excuse me? Why am I locked in this fascinating magical circle? I didn't do anything to you people expect to save your asses" Ray asks gently and keeping his calm which was very hard for him because all he wanted at the moment was to rip everyone's throat out.

"My brother has a suspicion that you indeed carry a hidden agenda" Elijah informs him in his own signature gentle tone.

Ray chuckles on his comment " The only agenda so far I have is to find out about me but I guess coming here was a bad idea and forgive me for saving you people because you don't deserve anyone's help... no doubt why everyone I asked about you people just spilt poison" Klaus smirks on Ray's words like it's a compliment.

"Okay, I'll give you a chance... I ask you a question and you will answer it and then you can ask a question and I'll answer it for you" Klaus offers.

Ray had a choice but no choice because Klaus is one of the smartest and cunning vampires and Ray was just a newbie so if he needed experience and if he wanted to live among the original vampires he needs to say yes.

"So what it is then?" Klaus asks moving towards Ray.

"Go ahead" Ray agrees.

"Who are you and why exactly you think that I'm the one who might know anything about you?" Klaus asks the first question which was an easy one because Ray already had prepared an answer for that.

"I don't know who I am... all I remember is my name, Ray... and I was looking for you because someone told me that you are the only one who can make hybrids so I guessed if anyone can help me know about me then it's you" Ray gives a straight answer.

"I have a doubt in your answer but it's your turn now" Klaus says.

" My only question has been already answered" Ray speaks while trying to be cool as much as he can be.

"Really?" Klaus asks.

"If you would have known me you would have told me by now but you didn't which means you don't know me at all and that's the reason you are keeping me in this circle" Ray says trying to push his hand out of the boundary but fails.

Klaus nods his head and turns back to Elijah when suddenly a voice speaks in Ray's head.

"He is not keeping us here because he doesn't know us but he's afraid and also interested and he didn't even ask about the reason your blood healing his brother's severe infection" Ray was confused how the hell he just heard that but he felt like not questioning that suggestion so he takes the opportunity and asks Klaus.

" Why you are interested in me?" Ray asks.

Klaus turns and a frown replaces the smirk on his face " What?".

"You seem like you already understand how to deal with me and you may don't know who I am but you know what I am and that's why you are keeping me in here" Ray's tone suddenly changes from gentle to confident.

A smirk returns on Klaus' face and he walks back to Ray.

"What'd you say?" Klaus asks.

"I said you already have dealt with someone like me or something like me so if you drop the act then we can talk. What you say?" Ray recommends.

"Thanks for the offer but no" Klaus says.

"What?" Ray says in unbelief.

"Yeah"

"Then let me go" Ray pleads.

"I think we have better use of you by you being inside the circle" Kol says.

"Please, Let me go" Ray says looking in Freya's eyes and her pupils dilate as she got compelled.

Freya waves her hand while enchanting something and the circle breaks and Ray gets free and he doesn't miss the chance to run as fast as he can out of the room

"Freya what have you done?" Klaus asks wide-eyed. "He compelled her" Elijah says with a shocked expression.

Ray was running out of the compound when he sees Finn pouring himself a drink in the courtyard.

He gets to him and snatches the glass " I need this more than you do" He drinks it at once and clears out.

Finn was surprised and confused by what just happened and he was about to take the other glass but Ray comes back.

"Actually, I'm taking the whole bottle... I've never had this much better bourbon in my life" He says and takes the whole bottle and disappear again.

But when Ray reaches the street, he realizes one thing, He doesn't know the New Orleans at all. He's never actually been to New Orleans before and at the moment, he was in the french quarter at the moment.

One more important thing comes in his mind that they already may have taken his blood so no matter where he goes, they can find him and according to the plot if Cami gets bitten then they will surely come after him.

"This was such a bad idea" Ray thinks of his choice to come into the world of the originals but then he looks at the bottle of bourbon and chooses to finish that perfect good bottle first before someone ruins it too.

So I'm editing the whole book, removing all the mistakes and plot holes. I wish you people enjoy reading it.
